Normally culvers is safe for me (I get custard) but last time, I noticed other pieces of candy in it :( Very sad, I don’t feel safe even with just normal custard here anymore.

The dining room is closed, so the only option is drive-thru. I was asked upon ordering if my gluten free request was a preference or an allergy. I was also informed that the fries are in a shared fryer. Super impressed since I didn’t have to state my allergy or ask about the fryer! I chose the mushroom and Swiss with the GF bun. Even though there is contamination and that’s normally an automatic no, I opted for the fries anyway. It’s been an hour since I’ve eaten and no reaction so far. I live about five minutes from the restaurant and so I was disappointed to find a bun in a bag with condensation in it. Made for a soggy bun. From reading the reviews, I now see they steam it so now I know to open the bag on the drive home and maybe remove it from the top of the burger container. The burger itself was dry but it came with no condiments which is typical for mushroom Swiss, that’s why I’m giving 4 stars. Otherwise, it was a good quick meal and friendly, informative service.

Excited to have options! I have posted a picture of the allergy menu provided.

The managers seem to be well-trained re: needed protocols for producing food safely. GF buns are a little tough so we opt for no-bun w extra lettuce. Ask and they’ll run a fresh supply of frozen custard for a RICH root beer float. Regrettably, the fries are prepared in a common fryer so “no” to those. Make sure you get a manager’s attention for your order though...they seem very attentive.

Great sandwiches!!! My husband and I were traveling south home to Orlando and stop in this location to get a quick bite. The sandwiches were prepared well, very flavorful and nice a warm. No problem with cross contamination!

Wow , what an amazing burger! The bun was steamed in the bag and brought to the table warm. No designated fryer for fries. Staff was so helpful!

Gluten free bun was absolutely amazing, and came in its own separate sealed packaging. When you request the gluten free bun, they will ask if it's preference or allergy.

This Culver’s location is great! They have a dedicated fryer for their fries and a septum sealed GF bun in its own package for their burgers! And they put on the receipt to make sure it was safe

Love Culver’s! I had to stop eating their fries because of cross contamination but I usually am fine eating a butter burger no bun. I have gotten sick once but I eat there quite often.

Staff had no idea what I meant when I said "celiac." *cue eyeroll* ugh. Then I asked if has a dedicated gf fryer & staff member said, "Ummmmm, let me check?" Already knew how this was going @ this point. Staff came back & reported no....so I bolted, bc no dedicated fryer & no idea what celiac or gluten is? No thank youuu! #notceliacsafe
