There were no items marked gluten free in the menu. Our waitress was very clear that they could not guarantee that any food they served would be gluten free. We ended up leaving.

Absolutely delicious! I got the chicken dinner prepared without the butter because I’m also dairy free. I was a little hesitant to eat here because of the reviews I read and they have an allergen statement on the site saying allergies are taken as a request not a guarantee but in talking to the server and asking if the chicken meal could be prepared safely I felt much more comfortable. They do offer gf bread and I would definitely go back for a sandwich! I felt safe but I would suggest asking a lot of questions especially about how things are prepared!

Dedicated gf fryer and the best french fries I’ve ever had. I didn’t love the indoor atmosphere as it was too loud for me and the service was a bit slow, but our server was super knowledgeable regarding the menu and let me know my options. I decided to stick with the fries to be safe and they did not disappoint.

Many gluten free options and a gluten free fryer! Excellent wings and French fries. Most dishes can be made GF. Everyone’s meal was great!

Food took a long time to arrive. They were not very flexible with DF (they could not make mussels without their butter sauce). The burger was good, but GF bun fell apart quickly. No gluten-free dedicated fryer. Salmon was GF and good, but serving was light.

Very expensive for what you are getting. Separate fryer, but the only bread is a bun. So we ordered a BLT, which is normally huge. But because we could only get it on a bun we got much less (our server agreed) than the normal order…But had to pay the same price and a dollar more for the bun. Otherwise, not a lot of options.

To clarify some contradictory previous posts. The fryer is dedicated GF however they very occasionally do a special that cross contaminates it and on those days fries are not available. They then thoroughly clean and use fresh oil. The food was good and the staff was knowledgeable and conscientious. My son felt safe and had no issues.

No long have a separate fryer for gluten free items which is a disappointment. Got just a burger on a gluten free bun.

The waitress was wonderful! Knew about gluten free food on the menus. Hand cut fries in a separate fryer. I will go back! The wine selection was great!

Ate here twice this weekend plus once at their other restaurant El Cortijo. They know gluten free and they do it beautifully, deliciously and safely. Everything is flagged gf. Designated fryer for fries. Gf buns for burgers and sandwiches and even creative vegetarian options for our vegetarian celiac. This is a win for everyone. If our family’s wide range of needs and preferences all agree it’s fabulous, I promise your family will too. Oh and a fabulous array of local gf hard cider and hard kombucha too.

We sat at the bar on a busy Saturday night. As soon as I mentioned celiac the bartender launched into an explanation of their GF prep space and separate fryer. He clearly knew all the details I needed to feel safe. He happily checked with the cook to make sure the corn grits were completely gulten free too. Never made me feel like I was being extra.

Staff is knowledgeable about menu. I had an excellent burger on a gf bun with fries (prepared in a dedicated fryer). Great experience! Will go back.

The staff was amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. I asked for gluten free and vegan. They had a good selection of options for gf but only a couple for gf and vegan. I ordered the chickpea burger w/o a bun ( they did offer a gf bun ) on a bed of kale with a salad. The burger and salad was delicious. I wasn't to fond of the seasoning on the kale. French fries were an option and I was told they are fried in their own pot. My boyfriend who can eat gluten had the fish and chips. He really enjoyed it. We plan on going back there in the future. I would like to thank them for a wonderful experience and great food.

I didn’t feel confident that my food was safe, and probably should have gotten up and left instead of eating, but stayed since the reviews here have been good.
I had a burger with a GF bun and they have a dedicated gluten free fryer. But the servers didn’t seem very knowledgeable about celiac disease and even seemed a little annoyed at my requesting special accommodation. They also kept reiterating that they were “99% sure” that everything was GF, but they couldn’t guarantee.
They did have a few GF beer options which was nice, but overall I didn’t feel very safe. I don’t think I’ll come back. I’ll update if I have a reaction.

Amazing burger on a gfree bun with gfree fries! They have a gluten free fryer they told me. She just had to check and see if they were running it today. I was in luck….and I was also able to get chicken wings in that fryer. They were delicious!!!

Lack of corona safety measures freaked me out, gluten issues not so much. But food was delicious. Basically, they have good food, can tailor most meals to be gluten free, and they even have a couple good GF canned beers at hand. In our case we had a very conscientious and helpful waitress, who was highly motivated to double check things for me. They do not have a dedicated fryer but they will check to see if anything with gluten has been fried in it that day—in my case the answer was no, so I had their fries and a cheese burger on a GF bun (bun was good though I could tell it was GF because it crumbled a bit). I'd go back, though probably not till the pandemic quiets down more.

Right away, our server was very knowledgeable about Celiac and assured us that the kitchen takes allergies very seriously. They do have a separate GF fryer for fries….. which were delicious. Both of our kids have Celiac and know one got sick. The burgers were delicious too. Great experience!

Had a burger on a gf bun and French fries. They claim that they have a dedicated gf fryer, but I felt ill within a couple hours of eating there. Waiter was not terribly knowledgable about gf, df.
Had diner there a few times. Always been perfect with no symptoms. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Had the regular burger with gluten free bun (cooked on a separate surface). Fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer and are really good. 4 GF beers on the menu as well. #nimatested

This was the first place we went when we were in Burlington. Our server was very knowledgeable about Celiac. They have a dedicated fryer so I was able to have chicken wings and fries. The fries are FANTASTIC! Wings were great too. Can't remember the last time I was able to have wings! Great selection of ciders and gluten free beers. Would definitely recommend!
Yes
Good food and they say they are celiac safe but I never feel right after eating here.
No
Unfortunately, despite the great atmosphere, the wait staff was not the most knowledgeable about GF options and there are minimal brunch options GF/dairy-free. They do have GF buckwheat waffles, however, these contain dairy. If your only allergy is gluten there will be more options to choose from!
Gluten free fryer and they have gluten free bibs! Best burger and fries night!
Had a delicious burger on a gf bun. It was a treat to have fries! Waiter was very knowledgeable. No problems at all and I'm celiac.
Yes
Had a burger with gf bun and fries. All good!
Ordered my burger with gluten free bun, and specifically asked if the fries were from a dedicated fryer, I had major issues the two days following. I'm not celiac but very sensitive, ruined half my conference trip. Not sure if it was the bun or the fries. If you eat here stick with what is definitely safe.

Went here for lunch and was very excited to find out that there was a designated fryer for the fries!! They were delicious, as was the gluten free bun I ordered for my burger. Best burger and fries I've had in a long time. I have celiac and am extremely sensitive. The waitress made sure to double check everything. Best part, my stomach feels great!
Yes
I was there on a busy Friday night. I made it clear to the server that I had a severe issue with gluten and was assured that my meal was "totally gluten free" by the person who delivered the meal to the table. However, I ended up very bloated afterwards so there must have been some cross-contamination. Food tasted quite good and the restaurant is probably fine for gluten-sensitive folks, but I don't recommend it for Celiacs.
No
Super knowledgeable staff. Awesome gluten free fries, such a rarity for a Celiac kid to get the same meal as everyone else:) :) Menu is small but very good!
GET THE FRIES. Thank you.
I am celiac. Called to make sure they had gluten free options. I was told they do. We went an had to wait 45 minutes for a table. I told the server I needed gluten free an he said ok. When I asked for certain things on the menu all he kept saying was no you cant have that. So I finally said then I dont know what to order an he couldn't tell me what to order either. Was not knowledgable. I did not order food we left and went to windjammer upper deck where they had a great gluten free menu and knowledgable staff.
No
Fries are cooked separate and are awesome, gluten free bread, so Celiac friendly in that regard.

Always very accommodating- never had a bad experience here!!!! Great ciders on tap and the food is just fantastic- lots of creative gf options- (I highly recommend a burger with a fried egg, cheddar, and bacon over mixed local greens)

So good! Fresh, delicious food and the staff are very knowledgeable. The burgers/fries are pricy but worth every penny.
Yes
Very knowledgeable about gluten allergy. Fries made in a dedicated fryer. GF bun for my burger. 5 gluten free beers!
I am really surprised this description says vegan friendly... Like what? The salad? Two veggie burgers? And a couple of veg starters. If you are a GF and are vegan the choices are slim to none. My wife is a vegetarian and we declined to meet friends at the farmhouse because she would not be able to eat anything on the menu. I love the mission, and the food is pretty damn good if you can eat it. I am passionate about local food I am just really confused about the description. Simply put I would say don't make the claim if your options are so limited.
This place doesn't have a separate menu and there regular menu is smallish, however, the food is stellar. Great, fresh and simple gastropub fare. What really pushes it to five stars is the drink selection, there were multiple ciders on tap plus a mead. Their bottle list has more gf beer selections than anywhere else In the NE, not red bridge mind you, real gf beer, fantastic.
