The lettuce wrap was pretty useless because it was one piece of lettuce, but I am grateful they have this option for those who are gluten free. Shakes are not gluten free.

Explained that I have celiac and asked what precautions are taken everyone changed their gloves and washed their hands before touching my food (including the cook!!) Food was kept separate from all gluten breading and fries were good!!

Asked for a bowl/and told them that my son has celiac. I watched as the person preparing my sons burger bowl handled multiple buns and put the container on a very dirty counter. I asked them to please remake, with new gloves as the cross contamination would make him sick. I got an eye roll and major attitude from her.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable on celiac. When I asked if I could have my burger wrapped in lettuce they asked if it was for an allergy when I told them yes they changed their gloves and I heard with my own ears them ask twice if “this burger was for the gluten allergy” I was extremely impressed. Will be returning

Super friendly, I will take my gluten free business there again. I didn't feel deprived at all, love it!

Five Guys, Five Stars! Best burger and fries I've had in 20 years! They have two great GF options for your burger to order...in a lettuce wrap or in a "bowl" where your burger is served over your fixin's from lettuce and tomato to grilled onions and mushrooms! The staff at the Chester Five Guys were super friendly and patient with a newbie like me and the place was very clean. The only downside was I ate waaaaay too many fries!

Order taker asks about allergy and informs cook staff. I like that I can see them following the protocols (change gloves, clean grill, etc). Dedicated french-fry fryer. Good food.

Refused to even serve me they said they can’t prevent any cross contamination even though the only gluten containing item in this location is the buns. Wouldn’t change gloves or utensils or anything just told me no.

April 26, 2014. These guys handle the 'Allergy burger' very well. Ask for it by that name, they'll know how to treat your food prep. They have a dedicated frier and make a mean lettuce wrapped burger. I always order extra lettuce and they don't fall apart. I never have an issue with cross-contamination at this chain.

They were so careful when preparing my burger and french fries. They do not have gluten free buns. The fries are safe to eat. I order a burger without a bun and bring in my own bun.

Ordered burger with no bun. Guy was helpful in answering questions. They hard a list of ingredients for different sauces. And marked it was for allergy on the order.
