I’ve always had a good experience the many times I’ve come here. They have an allergy stick you can put in to let them know to take precaution in cooking your food!

I've had a good experience every time I've been here. They use an allergy stick and I make sure thy know I am gluten free. I am celiac and have never gotten sick here!

The food tastes reasonably good, and they claim to be careful with gf, but I've gotten sick every time I've eaten there.

Filthy, Filthy, Filthy! There is no concern, whatsoever, about cross-contamination from the staff. Noodles and rice, sauces, sticks, various accoutrements, and spoons/ladels are strewn about willy-nilly in every section of the bar and in the cooler with the "fresh" ingredients. I definitely would not recommend this to a Celiac sufferer, nor would I imagine Rick Bayless would allow these safety hazards to exist.
No
The rice isn't gluten free and you have to call ahead to get fresh veggies cut up because there are noodles lain out all over the veggie bar.
You get to personally place everything you want in your bowl before it is cooked, and the gluten free sauces are labelled. Knowledgeable and helpful staff are available to answer questions and get fresh items from the back if anything is questionable. You can place a white stick in your bowl to have the chefs cook your dish in a separate, clean wok, although this can add some extra time if there are multiple allergy orders.

My friend took us here and I didn’t get sick at all—but I felt quite nervous. You make your own bowls “salad bar/buffet” style which is a recipe for cross-contamination. (And nothing is labeled for gluten at the bar or on the physical menu either). When they stir-fried my ingredients I had a small allergen stick that directed them to cook it on a clean, separate surface and I’m sure that’s what happened. The real concern is the buffet setup.

Even the manager couldn't tell me what protocol they had in place to try and prevent cross contamination, and told me it wasn't safe for me to eat there. Everything was made from a buffet, and ingredients were spilled and splashed everywhere. Would not recommend.

I ordered the make your own bowl where you basically add ingredients to your bowl from a buffet line of ingredients. After that, if you want proteins or meats, they add an allergy tag and cook that in a separate area. I have celiac and feel pretty safe.
