Great burgers and fries but you have to make sure the staff understands they need to change gloves and keep your food separate. The one time I didn’t do that I had symptoms after but when I’ve communicated clearly and made sure everyone understood I’ve had no issues. They do have a dedicated fryer and their sweet potato fries are excellent!

Chanced an outing here. They claimed to have a gf-dedicated fryer, but the waiter didn’t seem well-versed in cross-contamination. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

My non-gf partner has been ordering here and talked to them about their gf options and felt comfortable encouraging us to order.
The food was ok, the burger was soggy and the gf bun fell apart before I got halfway through the burger. Fries also just ok.
Next day I felt awful and this was definitely in one of my top contaminations of the past few years. Will not be going back.

We have been going here for a few years and my Celiac wife has not gotten sick. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and we always get the fries. Also, the GF bun is very good.

We eat here frequently and I've never gotten sick but I always call if I place an order online to make sure they understand I have an "allergy". I also mark that they need to be careful of cross-contamination. We mostly eat in these days.

Sad to say this is not safe for celiac, probably not anyone gluten free for health reasons.
I’ve been going here since they opened. We moved away for a few years and recently returned. I was concerned with some of the recent reviews. Since I’d had a good experience in the past, I went ahead. Big mistake. I’m really sick tonight.
I noted gluten free for celiac allergy but n my online order. (I know it’s not an allergy, but having worked in restaurants, they don’t know what celiac is but are aware of allergy.) My burger wasn’t fully wrapped. Hint 1. There was debris/food on the outside wrapper of all our burgers, making me think they didn’t change their gloves. Hint 2. My burger was squashed between two regular burgers. Hint 3. I shouldn’t have eaten it.
I ordered around 3:30, so not a busy time. I also noted in my order gluten free for celiac allergy, (I know folks understand allergy. Not all know celiac). There’s no reason other than not caring for not taking minimum precautions.

Really tasty burgers, but all prep and cook surfaces are shared with gluten-containing things (like buns) and it is a conveyer belt-like process to put together the burgers. They do not change gloves often and the cooking utensils touch buns and breaded and fried food.
No
I enjoyed my meal. I had a burger and fries. However, I started feeling sick immediately after eating there :( I have celiac btw.

This was fantastic when we came on Thursday with wonderful gluten free burgers perfectly done and full of flavorful! Back on Sunday and service was slow, tasteless and poorly done. The manager apologized and stated the team isn't working well together. Poor excuse for such great potential. Be careful when you try this place out. Great for GF awareness as far as we can tell.
Awesome hamburgers and sweet potato fries.
Yes
Best burger and truffle fries! Very helpful staff with the Gluten Free menu❤
Came twice, first visit a year ago was great everything tasted good and was cooked perfectly . No issues and i have celiac.
Second visit, not the same experience. Seemed as if they forgot to take the necessary precautions needed to avoid cross contamination. And, this time my burger tasted like salt. Tried to see if it was just the first bite but it was off and couldn't finish it.
Hope they step it up soon. Used to be great!
They have a chart for allergies and all, but this place is NOT celiac friendly! They DO NOT change their gloves, yet they have "dedicated" fryers. If you have celiac, this place is NOT safe!
I couldn't wait to come here because of the dedicated fryer for fries and was looking forward to the burger.... it was TERRIBLE. The burgers were dry /tasteless & they don't allow you to order the meat the you want it , (all cooked med/well.) The GF bun was hard as a rock, the garlic aioli annoyingly sweet, and the fries-- meh. My bf ordered a milkshake and even that sucked (too watery).
Yes
Great burgers with GF buns! The sweet potato fries are a must ( comes with Marshmallow dip!).
Yes
Amazingly celiac safe. They knew right away how to make the food gf
Yes
Burger place, no frills but good food. Gluten free buns and fryer, never had an issue eating three. Definitely a fan.
Yes
Dedicated fryer for fries and their allergy menu is displayed on the counter for easy access! I recommend the truffle fries! By far the best GF bun I've had.
GF buns available and a separate fryer for sweet potato fries and other if you ask. having type 1 diabetes I ate the fries but they had too much carbs and my bg's were really high and took a long time to bring down, heads up... but still a great place!
Exceptional fries (dedicated gf fryer), fantastic burgers (with gf buns made fresh from The Happy Tart gf bakery across the street). Lettuce wraps also available.
Yes
Love that we can safely eat here and have fries too!
Yes
The food was great! I got a 2/3lbs burger on lettuce with the regular fries and my boyfriend got his burger on the gluten free bun with the sweet potato fries. The staff was very friendly when I confirmed that the fries were in dedicated friers and insured me the bun was gluten free. I tasted the bun and it was really good. Both fries were really good and knowing they have a separate frier made me feel at ease. The burgers were good and the fact that I didn't have to worry about anything being contaminated made my experience awesome! I will return :)
Yes
Love their turkey burgers and the toppings that you can add. They have a dedicated frier just for sweet potato fries.
They have gluten free buns and will wrap burgers in lettuce if you want. The burgers are great!
Yes
Absolutely amazing! Had a two patty burger on a GF bun with fries. Feel great hours after my visit and I am celiac. My new favorite place to eat, just sad that I live 4.5 hours away. GREAT PLACE!
Yes
Sweet potato waffle fries with marshmallow sauce =amazing and gluten free! would definitely go back there !
I love the place! Every time we are in town we visit "Holy Cow"! The only thing I don't like is having to teach the staff until a manager is asked for it comes along......please train your people so I don't have to go through the same conversation over and over :-)
1. Didn't get sick 2. Dedicated fryer, grill and prep area 3. Staff is educated and cares
Yes
They were very helpful. Food was good. Wish gf was clearer on menu, but when I asked they haas answers.
have gluten free buns for a little extra and dedicated fryer for sweet potato fries
Genuine grass fed burgers, buns fresh from the GF bakery across the street, and wonderful GF fries! Best to call ahead to make sure they have GF buns, as sometimes they are out. Meticulously handled GF food!! One of our favorites!!
Yes
Wonderful burgers and fries ! Owner was very knowledgable about Gluten-free and proper handling.
Good burgers! I think the buns are mealy so I just get my burger on a salad bowl. You can also get the lettuce wrap. GF fries!!!
The donate a few cents to the charity of your choice with every order.
Yes
many GF options and they even have GF buns and lettuce wrapped meats. Sweet potato fries with dip was yummy too!. We got 3 different burgers too. cream cheese pm burger was the best! (owner ..... Please consider military discount.)
The food was good, but the staff is not very familiar with gluten free, i asked if the shakes were GF and they said it was, i noticed the orio shake and asked if ther used different mashine and was told no, so the shakes are not GF. they did change my burger for free since there was cross contamination with it. i did not check if they use a diff fryer for their fryz so ask to make sure
So many choices! LOVED the fries!
This place is a dream come true for people with celiac's who want to eat "real burgers and fries" while feeling safe. Dedicated fryer for fries so you can order any of their varieties (sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce are off the hook!). I asked to speak with someone to make sure I understood exactly what I could and could not order with regards to burgers and toppings. I would recommend you do the same if you really need to be strict. Veggie burger is NOT GF, but turkey burger is. The gentleman I spoke with (not sure if he was the manager said his wife has celiac's, so he was very familiar with what GF really means). You can get your burger on a GF bun (from The Happy Tart across the street) which makes it feel really authentic. The bun was very good, although it started to fall apart a bit (as usual with GF bread!) so I had to fork and knife my burger. Still, a great experience all in all, and I felt very safe eating here!
Yes
I didn't get to try but the Happy Tart across the street supplies the buns.
Delicious burgers with an option for gluten free buns!
