Waffle was pretty good, but there was no gluten free syrup, and the egg & bacon topping was mashed together, which was a little strange. The owner was very nice and helpful. I would go back to try a different waffle.

While I miss the sweet couple that ran Kiwan Cafe Rio, the new owner--who changed the name to B Street Coffee House--is very nice and gave the space a much needed facelift. It is cleaner and brighter inside. She kept the gluten free, vegan waffles (dairy free and soy free!) and mine was light and delicious. There are a very few places in town I trust with my gluten free, dairy free, soy free dietary needs, but B Street Coffee House didn't let me down! The Dutch apple topping was not as generous as the previous owners but when she served us the waffles she let us know if we wanted more agave syrup or cinnamon to let her know. So we did ask for more and the extras flowed freely! I also asked about the creamy stuff served on top, which is a vegan topping made from nuts. She gave us more of that too! The biggest improvement is that they now serve Nossa Familia coffee! Whatever they served before was awful. Nossa Familia coffee rocks! Also, the latte made with coconut milk was awesome.Service is slow but in a tiny space where your order is custom-made, you should expect less than immediate results. Personally, to me, this adds to the charm of this tiny place: there is abundant time to enjoy the company of those you are dining with! The new, clean high tables with comfortable bar stools made the time pass quickly. One disclaimer: I am not celiac. I can't review from the standpoint of cross contamination. My gluten/dairy/soy intolerances are significant and I have never felt sick after eating here, but again if you are celiac you should review on your own criteria.

This is NOT a dedicated gluten free business. They sell gluten bagels, muffins, etc. I had a gf waffle, but the lady couldn't even tell me if the syrup was gf. The service was not very good. Very disappointing experience, especially since I thought it was a dedicated gf facility.

I love this place. I'm gluten free, dairy free and soy free and they make thing especially for me if the regular item has dairy or soy. Everything is gf so I don't worry about cross contamination. They are the sweetest couple the only negative thing I have say is that they are closed on Wed.

cute tiny space. unfortunately nothing I can eat here if I don't want a stomach ache...bread and eggs, basically.but good for people with less food restrictions who want a more basic, american breakfast-type meal, sans gluten.

Uber friendly, and really delicious food. Able to accommodate dairy free/vegan, though the vegan waffles are an extra 1.50, so it was a little expensive. Waffles served all day. Tiny place, kinda felt like eating in an eccentric aunt's kitchen, but the owners were so warm that it was very nice.

Great food. Arguably the best sandwich I've ever had. Great omelette too!

Unfortunately I am on an anti-fungal diet and had to restrict rice. They said there was no rice used in the bread, which I later found out to be not true as it is from New Cascadia bakery. I should have known better though. So that set me back a bit.

But no gluten reaction after eating here and the owners are literally the cutest couple I have ever seen.

This is no longer a dedicated gluten free restaurant. Was extremely disappointed to find out this restaurant was not the same place I SAFELY ate gluten and dairy free 2 years ago.

Light, fluffy waffles that don't taste GF, tasty scrambles, delicious smoothies and friendly, genuinely welcoming owners. Tiny and can be difficult to find (it's across from Ringside Steakhouse and Goodwill on Burnside), but definitely worth it!

This was great food! We had the waffles with the omelet on top. YUM! Service was good and everything is made while you wait. There is minimal seating and you have to find parking on the street but we will definitely be back. Love supporting small businesses. The entire cafe is gluten free

This place is my dream come true. It is completely (yes, completely) gluten free. No gluten EVER. The proprietors are very kind and the menu is full of delicious foods and drinks. It is very small, so don't bring a large party, but still AMAZING!!!!
