Best Gluten Free Seafood I've ever had! The have a great selection of pretty much anything you would want in gluten free varieties. Dedicated fryers and knowledgable staff. And for the kicker they bring you warm, SOFT gluten free rolls to start the meal. Very glad I stopped in.

Good food and excellent gf bread for the table. I had the surf and turf which was good but somewhat plain. The surf was shrimps and scallops which were very high quality but didn't have a sauce... so again it was very plain. maybe the sauces had gluten in them and that's why? Otherwise good place that was very considerate of gluten free food which I appreciate greatly.

Hands down the best gluten free menu ever. The staff is so knowledgable. They have switched to all gluten free fryers except for 1 for a specialty item. I travel almost every week and if I could et at legal every week I would never get glutened! Food is delicious!

We were recently in town from Michigan and really enjoyed our trip to Legal Sea Foods. We all found something to like on the menu. Our party member with celiac disease enjoyed the gluten free rolls they brought to the table, and the server definitely went out of her way to take care of her. I agree it's not cheap, but it's high quality seafood. We would definitely go back.

Good food good service, only complaint was the portion for the price. And pasta to fish ratio was 6 parts pasta 2 parts fish. The gluten free menu and food was tasty. Oysters were great and fresh. Bottom line save up your pennies and eat a little before you go..

Decided to go here because of the great reviews. I had the scallops shrimp and lobster in wine sauce with French fries and they had awesome dinner rolls. I asked several times if there was a dedicated fryer and was told yes. Well I really was sick shortly after I ate. Something was not right even though they assured me everything was gf-- my gut says there was gluten in something-- I would not ever return-- not worth the suffering

I'm not Celiac, just gluten sensitive...but I've dined in a lot of restaurants that claim to have gluten free offerings and let me say, this one is at the top of the pile! They offer a lot of GF options - more than many restaurants. I was able to have fried clams, which I have always loved but haven't been able to eat in years! The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about their GF process and selection, and even offered a GF roll (one of the best I've ever had). Even the dessert menu has GF options. The Belgian chocolate mousse parfait was wonderful. Will definitely visit here again!

I have eaten at this location many times, as well as other locations and I've never had an issue. I am somewhat neurotic though - checking and double checking that they know my order must be gluten free. The GF fried calamari is absolutely delicious, and I order it every time I come!

I would give this like 10 million stars if possible. Their fish and chips is basically my entire life, I live in Chicago and we went to Boston on vacation and I bring up their fish and chips to my mom like every day to ask if we can go back. They also had the best and one of the only gf onion rings I've ever had. They were literally so good I can't even. If you are in Boston stop by your life will be changed...!!!!!!!!!!

I have eaten here several times over the years and quality has declined. My last meal here was a huge disappointment and the GF rolls were not fresh, fluffy, or tasty. They were hard on the top and soggy on the bottom. I asked for more and got only a slightly better offering 2nd time around. Once I had a waitress suggest that the ice cream Bon-Bons were safe because they are only ice cream and chocolate. I told her I would not order on her guess, and sure enough, they contained gluten. Second to last time I was here I got the seafood casserole which was dry and less creamy and more white wine than normal. We will go back one more time, but three strikes and you're out. :(

My boyfriend tried to take me here for a fancy dinner. He told them at reservation, at check in and upon being seated that we both have a serious gluten allergy. Despite them being told several times they still brought out a big basket of gluten filled bread while carrying the gluten free roll right on top of the gluten filled basket. Needless to say after seeing that I did not feel comfortable at all and left immediately! I did try and contact legal's "safety manager" about this incident as I had already had an awful experience at legal's on the mystic and she never returned my call!

Would not recommend to anyone with a gluten allergy or Celiac disease. I have been to the Burlington location and have always had an amazing experience. Decided to try this new location for a change. The server was not knowledgeable at all on gluten free options or handling. Brought out a regular roll and placed it right in front of me then went to another table to take an order, I went to reach for it and she ran over saying it was a regular roll! Later she told me there was only one gluten free option on the menu for dessert which I knew was incorrect as I had been to another location. About 30 minutes after this visit I got violently ill from a gluten contamination! I spoke with Legal's "safety manager" Marnie about this incident and pretty much was given a song and dance about how they are all trained and she is not sure what happened. She assured me that allergies are important to legal and sent me a $35 complimentary card despite a bill of $150 for that evening.

I am from Chicago and am so used to my only option being salad. Legal Sea Foods was an amazing experience! I was able to order fried foods that were completely gluten free, that was amazing in and of itself, but the fact that the food was super flavorful and probably the best seafood I have ever had was the pinnacle! They even served my mother gluten free to assure there was no contamination and she couldn't even tell the difference until they told her. She and I were so amazed we will be going back on our next trip, we just hope we get the same waiter because he was amazing! I strongly suggest this place to anyone wanting a great gluten free experience like never before.

The service is superb and the fresh fish and shellfish-- just amazing. Even the warm GF rolls were good (and those usually suck, let's be honest!) They do a great job with cross contamination. They cook food in a separate pan instead of on a grill. I have multiple food allergies, so I stick to the grilled items and plain vegetables, but it's well prepared. I may bring my own side sauce for steamed broccoli in the future. The manager brought out my meal and you can talk to the chef or your waiter/waitress to your heart's content. They also made me my own special course when everyone else had bruschetta. I had watermelon with mint and citrus. Tasty and refreshing!

My son has celiac disease, we were extremely impressed with the staff's knowledge and handling of food. GF food was bought out separately by another waiter, each time it was placed in front of my son it was identified as gluten free. He was able to get gluten free dinner rolls, which were warm and delicious. Had option of anything fried since they use a gf breading and separate fryer. This is a rare treat for him. He ordered fired clams and enjoyed!

This legal sea foods is located behind security in Reagan national airport. It's a sit down place but they have some options as "quicker serve" options. Items that can be made gluten free are clearly marked on menu. Server said that all breaded items were gf except tempura which were cooked in a seperate fryer (if others could verify I would appreciate it!). Fries were tasty as well as crab roll with no bun. Had one gf beer on menu. Solid choice for airport.

We tried their french fries, Caesar salad, fried oysters, bread and molten chocolate cake, and our daughter loved all of it. They also offer GF fish sticks. The rest of the food was also excellent: the trout was perfectly grilled. the white sangria and Mexican mule were nicely prepared and nicely sized too. excellent place for GF and regular food. a nice stop after a fun afternoon shopping the new outlets at Assembly sq. in sommerville.

I am a regular diner at LSF and eat at the Burlington location twice a month. Visited this location once. I told them of my allergy and was brought out the gluten free bread. I think it was contaminated because as soon as I finished my stomach started hurting. I ordered gf fried scallops for my main. When I left I went to the natick mall and had to rush to the bathroom. What a wonderful GF DF experience. My son had clams and shrimp and I had the platter where everything is fried in their dedicated fryers (fish, scallops, calamari, fries, etc.). What a treat! Server asked I wanted them, and then when I said yes, put down the plate she was holding with rolls on them and left. I only took 1 bite before realizing that she might be coming BACK with GF rolls.. The gluten free rolls were great, Salad was wonderful, I ordered the fisherman platter as finding gluten free fried food is next to impossible. They were more than happy to substitute scallops for something else as I can't eat scallops. It was extremely yummy, the white fish was a little boney. It was a very large helping perfect for two or left overs. For dessert I tried there chocolate parfait as it's the only gluten free dessert option other sorbet. It wasn't very good chalky and tasteless which is the only reason I offer four stars instead of five.
