This was the third legal I ate at in one East Coast vacation haha! Be warned, the portions are HUGE here. Fish and chips consisted of three huge slices of fish on a mound of onion rings that rivaled Mount Everest! (Just kidding- but it was way too much food. My mom and I wished I had split a dish). It was a stop off the highway in Warwick and we enjoyed their gf bread. Totally felt safe.

Amazing! Everything they fry in their fryers is made with only a gf breading or is gf. The fried calamari (regular and Rhode Island style) were so good! My daughter was so happy to finally be able to eat this at a restaurant! Everything that can be made gf is designated in the menu. They take allergies or Celiac seriously and the manager brings out your food here. Oh and the warmed gf rolls they bring out are sooo goood too!

Been here quite a few times - last visit the excellent waiter told me that the fryer was now gluten free! I get the scallops every time. Love it here.

They have great gluten free options here. The staff is very knowledgeable about avoiding gluten and celiac disease, at least our waitress was. They even have gluten free dinner rolls! Which are delicious.

I have a toddler with Celiac's. When I asked our waitress if items on the children's menu could be made gluten free she looked at me as if I had 2 heads. She then huffed off to go check with the kitchen. I ended up ordering mashed potatoes with the meal and she rolled her eyes at me and asked if mashed potatoes were gluten free. I told her they should be since it's usually potatoes, milk and butter. They did bring my son out a gluten free roll and the manager brought us my son's plate and checked in with us a couple times to make sure my son liked the meal. If not for the rude waitress it would have been an enjoyable dining experience.

Just had dinner here. My server was very good explained to me about the menu when I told her I had Celiac Disease. They have gluten free rolls, fish and chips were great . Will be back again very nice menu.

Only gave it a four cause it was very expensive for fried seafood platter! Service was great and food delicious! Did not get sick. No room for dessert but they mentioned something about a warm chocolate lava cake! Might go there some night just for that😛

Best Gluten Free Seafood I've ever had! The have a great selection of pretty much anything you would want in gluten free varieties. Dedicated fryers and knowledgable staff. And for the kicker they bring you warm, SOFT gluten free rolls to start the meal. Very glad I stopped in.

Good food and excellent gf bread for the table. I had the surf and turf which was good but somewhat plain. The surf was shrimps and scallops which were very high quality but didn't have a sauce... so again it was very plain. maybe the sauces had gluten in them and that's why? Otherwise good place that was very considerate of gluten free food which I appreciate greatly.

Hands down the best gluten free menu ever. The staff is so knowledgable. They have switched to all gluten free fryers except for 1 for a specialty item. I travel almost every week and if I could et at legal every week I would never get glutened! Food is delicious!

Amazing. Felt like this was the first time since find out I have Celiac that I wasn't settling on my food choice and I actually got rolls just like everyone else. So yummy and great service and staff. Definitely my new favorite restautant.

We were recently in town from Michigan and really enjoyed our trip to Legal Sea Foods. We all found something to like on the menu. Our party member with celiac disease enjoyed the gluten free rolls they brought to the table, and the server definitely went out of her way to take care of her. I agree it's not cheap, but it's high quality seafood. We would definitely go back.

Good food good service, only complaint was the portion for the price. And pasta to fish ratio was 6 parts pasta 2 parts fish. The gluten free menu and food was tasty. Oysters were great and fresh. Bottom line save up your pennies and eat a little before you go..

ate here for lunch and I'm hAving a reaction now at 4pm. I suspect the chips as they were fried.

Gluten free kids meals were tasty. The dedicated frier and large menus were a plus. The gf buns are not recommended. Stick to the yummy seafood

Amazing! Had an entire gf fisherman’s platter. (Share this with others - it is gigantic!) separate fryer, knowledgeable staff, entire menu is marked and almost everything can be gf!

The menu is extra clear with what is gluten free or not. The fry batter used is totally gluten free, and the serving staff is wicked conscious of allergens. Upon alerting the staff of the severe allergy, they took extra note and had the chef who prepared the meal bring the gf plate out. Their caution paid off as I did not get sick afterwards.
