Millie’s is amazing!!! We went 3 times in 4 days. Not just celiac safe, but delicious and super fresh. The red quinoa bowl with shrimp is so insanely good. I’m dairy free too and this was no problem for the kitchen. Make a reservation if going for dinner - it’s a small place!

We spent the day at the beach and were getting hungry. I realized I just found this app about a week ago. Millie’s came up as being very close to us with good reviews. They have good GF buns and my burger was pretty tasty. Having the bun is such a treat for me. I got the Fl sweet rum bbq burger , it was $2 extra for the bun. I’m ok with that. They do not have a dedicated fryer so no fries or freshly made chips. She recommended the seasonal garlic green beans which were definitely freshly cooked and great. I will definitely eat there again when I’m the area. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because , while good, I paid more for my burger than other people in our group who ordered market priced shrimp meals. Also, they charged $2 for 2 very small ranch for my kids chicken tenders. Overall, I still highly recommend this place, and hope to have given a clear picture of what to expect.

Waitress excellent and very familiar with GF, no dedicated fryer so I was not able to have fries or the homemade chips. Sandwiches can be made with GF brioche hamburger size bun. I had mashed potatoes as my side to be safe since their fryer also cooks breaded items. Surprised this was Guy Fieri recommended. My family just thought the food was so-so.

I called ahead for reservations and confirmed they had GF options. I was told the chef and staff were very knowledgeable and most things could be made GF. I was not disappointed. When our server came she told us about an amazing chef special, and I asked if it was GF. She went and spoke with the chef and she came back and said yes! It was fantastic! My friend had an amazing burger, and they had GF buns! I will definitely go back!

I had the blackened flounder with smashed red potatoes and Swiss chard, which was the special. It was amazing! They take extra precautions with celiac but also informed me that the dish was naturally GF. They are farm to table ocean to table fresh.

Hostess and waitress were well informed about GF. Mentioned right away that different utensils would be used. Waitress told me what was GF and what could be modified. I had steak and shrimp with a shrimp fondue sauce. It was delicious and I felt great (am a very sensitive celiac).

So, the entree was great, and I really wanted to give it more stars, but the mousse was horrid. It’s bizarre. They did a lovely job with the entree, nice presentation, etc and the mouse looked awful, and tasted worse.

My parents and I went to Millie’s for lunch today. The serve explained that they switch pans, gloves, etc to prevent cross-contamination. I was able to get their catch of the day blackened. They offered a gf bun as well that gets toasted in the clean pan. I have to say my lunch was amazing - there aren’t many places that I feel safe eating at in Ormond/Daytona.

Owner, chef & staff extremely knowledgeable re CD. Not only changed gloves but sterilized pans & utensils before gf. Willing to make almost anything gf custom order. Highly recommend & plan to go again before leaving Daytona Beach.
