Manager was pretty rude and didn’t want us to eat there even though it was 45min til they closed. Dirty environment too. I did not get sick from gluten but I wouldn’t recommend.

Allergen menu, spoke with the manager... fries in a dedicated fryer.
Yes
Almost everything there is GF so even though the staff weren't super knowledgable, cross contamination seems unlikely because there just isn't much of it in the kitchen. I got medium spicy chicken and two veggie sides (seasonal brussels sprouts and peas). Tasty and no symptoms. Was a little crowded and noisy at lunch time.
Yes
Food is really good, you need to do your own research though. I'd give this place 1 star in terms of value, as their prices have gone up. The staff isn't the most knowledgeable. But they have an allergen menu by the counter. It is a little spicy but I like it, they have any sauces and they are mostly gluten free.
The staff was not very knowledgeable about what “gluten” even was, so it made me nervous even just ordering seemingly safe boneless chicken. Overall, it was gluten free and I had no symptoms afterwards, but the chicken was incredibly dry and overpriced for the amount of food received.
Loved this place. The staff understands GF & helped me with placing my order. The chicken is delicious & they have a dedicated fryer for their chips (french fries)

Very helpful staff, physical allergen menu, and dedicated fryers for the "chips."

I have more issues than just being "gluten-free" and this place just couldn't really accommodate. The girl at the counter taking our order was FANTASTIC!! She would have made all my wishes possible if she had been able, I'm certain. But, for me, it's definitely crossed OFF the list.
The Master Allergen book is a godsend. I managed to go on the evening the manager was there and he took the time to explain all the menu items and talk about how he wanted to pride himself on having an establishment that took a lot of care to make sure everyone could eat there safely. I've gone twice with no issues, so I say you've succeeded, sir! Echoing other reviewers who say avoid anything fried. It's so nice to feel safe eating seasoned, grilled chicken, and it doesn't hurt that it's incredibly tasty, too.

If you like chicken, this place is amazing. Casual dining. I recommend the chicken, rice and coleslaw.
Yes
Chicken and sauces are all GF & DF. Ask for the master allergen book and it'll help with ordering. Steer clear of fries (shared fryer), but lots of GF options. DF limits you quite a bit but I liked the amount of food I got for $11. Full review: http://www.glutenfreedairyfreereviews.com/2016/02/nandos-peri-peri-review.html
staff might not know about gluten but chicken, rice and corn were safe and great on my visit

VERY IMPORTANT! THe flies aren't gluten free. (and they don't claim there are, it is a problem with this website) Delicious ands otherwise excellent.

Love this place always hit this one when in town
We ordered the wings and mashed potatoes. They were excellent! I had zero problems after eating, they were defiantly gluten free friendly.
Yes
Don't know why there are so many bad reviews. Sure, the staff might not be knowledgeable but they are very friendly. I am a regular here. The food is incredible. Look on the website for g free information. Most chicken and plenty of sides are g free. I love this place!
I do not recommend this place. We ordered kids menu grilled chicken and it was extremely spicy. Both of the kids refused to eat it. When we inquired they told us that WE should have ordered it plain. Isn't it there job to ask or at least assume a kids meal shouldn't have that much spice? We finally just asked for a replacement (it was never offered to us) and 20 min later it still had not arrived so we left. $30+ wasted. Do not eat here.
Really fresh flame grilled chicken; you can choose how spicy you would like it. Many options for gluten free sides and salads. Since you order at the register and it can be busy, I recommend checking their website for the latest gluten free menu items before you go so you have an idea what you might like to try.
Hostess told me everything on menu GF... Hello! You serve couscous, wraps, sandwiches, etc!! She also told me there was no GF menu which there seemed to be one at register that cashier paged through for me. Staff not knowledgeable. Cute place. Food just OK. Eat at your own risk!
No
I had the chicken bowl without the hummus and a side of fries. I was told it was all gluten free but they were unsure if the hummus had cross contamination, so I opted for no hummus just to be safe. The fries are the only thing that go in the frier, so no cross contamination there. The food was not bad for a quick, easy meal across from my hotel. I did not get sick.

I dined in and had a positive experience the people were very nice and I watched the person who took my order tell the kitchen to be careful with cross contamination. I did not get sick and felt comfortable eating there! I would always say when eating somewhere that has gluten in the kitchen at all be very clear about the severity and ask them to change gloves etc!

We always stop at Nando’s when we travel south. They have a well marked allergen booklet. We get the chicken livers, spicy olives, brussels sprouts without the sauce, shish kebabs, and half chicken. French fries are in a dedicated fryer. Enjoy!

While the restaurant isn’t dedicated gluten free, the staff are excellent about allergies! As soon as you tell the staff you have celiac/wheat allergy, they are running to the kitchen to ensure your order is prepared with new gloves, in a freshly cleaned area, and without any gluten ingredients. The servers automatically bring the allergen book and work directly with you to ensure you do not order anything that has hidden gluten. My husband and I both have celiac and have never had issues here :)

my husband is from Australia, and whenever we saw that a Nando‘s was coming to Houston. We both got so excited. The only question was do they have gluten-free options? Well, the answer is yes! They do! Do they have gluten-free indicators on their menu? No. They don’t…but don’t worry, I did the digging for you, and if you swipe right, you will find pictures of their allergen menu that they store behind the counter. (Not the best picture but proof that it exists!!) 😊
of course they can’t say that it is a completely gluten-free space because they do have flour, but they did say that the grill was completely separate from anything containing wheat so I do feel like most people will be very safe eating here. The sauces don’t contain gluten, but to my surprise, the sweet potatoes do. And be careful with the bowls because some of them are not gluten-free but the grilled chicken is and I will say it is absolutely delicious!
