Decided to go for the GF pizza since a few other reviews said the crust was good. I'm also dairy free and they don't have a dairy free cheese so I wasn't expected to be wow'ed, but wanted something other than pasta and marinara sauce. The crust was decent but was burnt on the bottom in spots, so for me, it wasn't worth it. My partner who doesn't have food allergies said his pizza was also fine but nothing to write home about. Reminds us both of Fazoli's.

They do have gluten free pasta but the food was just ok and very overpriced.. $25 for a plate of gluten free spiral noodles with broccoli and chicken and marinara sauce that tasted like it came out of a jar. My husband (not gluten free) got the pizza and said it was meh..

I have Celiac. I ordered the GF Baked pasta Lorenzo with sausage. 20 minutes later I am horribly sick and in the bathroom for the last hour. I called and spoke with the manager, Tanya, who tried to convince me that it was contamination from the other people who sat at my table which makes no sense. We were supposed to go to Canyonlands National Park but now we can’t thanks to eating at Pasta Jay’s. The manager made NO attempt to solve the source of the problem. Therefore, beware if you have gluten problems. Please note that other people have had the same problem with eating the Baked Lorenzo.

They had gf options. Seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination. Even a gluten free menu. The Lorenzo was not very good. The garlic bread was bland. Then even that got ruined when a Buser at the next table was cleaning it and sprayed all of my food and wine with 409. I will not return here.

As a person with celiac, this was a phenomenal place to eat. They had the biggest assortment of gluten free pasta options I have ever seen. I got the Baked Lorenzo and it was fabulous. The gluten free garlic flatbread was also a plus. The staff was very accommodating, informative, and kind. Highly recommend. Crystal’s Cakes and Cones was right across the street and had gluten free cupcakes as a dessert!

Pasta Jays does have an actual gluten free menu. Pasta was typical GF rotini, marinara a bit spicy so I added a ramekin of Alfredo to make it a pink sauce (yummy). We Had the GF garlic “bread” which is actually the GF pizza crust cut into slices. It was actually really good. Enjoyed our dinner there with out any issue! Yay!!

I am ecstatic we stumbled upon this place! We were driving through and a local told us about their massive gluten free offerings. I can’t remember the name of what I got, but it was a creamy tomato sauce with sausage crumbles and fresh parmigiana shredded on top of gluten free noodles. I will say their gluten free bread is subpar. Pass on that but enjoy the huge heaping helping of hearty delicious pasta. It’s been a long time since I’ve been really satisfied with a gluten free meal out on the town. I will be back!

I was disappointed in my experience. We came in earlier in the day to confirm GF options were available. The very nice hostess said all pastas were GF, the ravioli could be GF and the pizza was GF. When we arrived, they were out of ravioli, several of the pastas sauces were not GF (which excluded half of the pasta options) and I had heeded below reviews that the pizza wasn’t worth it. I ate the salad and got a side of Italian sausage because I wasn’t excited about paying $25 for GF penne and mariana sauce (that I could easily make for myself at home). Morale of the story: not worth it (or the frustration).

Edit 3/2023: what a difference a few months makes. No longer have a gf menu. Server stated everything could be made gf. Even I know that’s not possible. When we tried to order, most things were not gf (as I expected). Chicken Parmesan is no longer chicken parm if it’s a piece of grilled chicken on rotini with marinara. Gf pizza was undercooked and gooey in the middle.
11/2022 Very impressed with staff knowledge and care taken with cross contamination. Our server was able to explain the procedures for both gf pizza and pasta prep.
Pizza was thin crust (previously frozen, but not Udi’s brand). It was only ok. Chicken Alfredo seas good. Giant portions. The gf garlic bread is made from the thin pizza crust. Not worth it IMO.

Our service to start was so poor, like extremely poor. I had to ask for the marinara that came with the breadsticks for the table. Why it wasn’t already on the bread plate is confusing? It was also overpriced for the quality of the food. Celiac related- waiter knew nothing. There was no GF menu. I had to prompt him to go ask the kitchen something, he wasn’t automatically accommodating. I felt super uncomfortable eating here personally and am already gassy so we will see how the next day goes

This restaurant was lovely and we really enjoyed our family meal there. There's a separate gluten free menu so it was easy for me to see my options, and there was plenty to choose from. I had gluten free pasta marinara and gluten free garlic flatbread. It was delicious, and the server was extremely helpful (e.g. I wanted to know if the parmesan cheese was gluten free and she went to check because she wasn't 100% certain, which I really appreciated. It was.) My family very much enjoyed their gluten meals too. There were plenty of vegetarian choices. Definitely recommend.

They did not have a gluten free menu. The waiter said they just pulled it a week before. So I asked if they had anything that was gluten free & the waiter said he thinks they have a GF pasta & pizza. After a couple trips to the kitchen to ask questions I decided on the GF pizza which was made with Rice Flour. The waiter assured me the pizza would be prepared and cooked in a separate area. When I received my pizza the edges were quite burnt and the top of pizza was still doughy. ( I see this a lot when ordering GF pizzas) Anyway at this point the restaurant was packed and I knew it would take forever for a new pizza so I dealt with what I was served tearing off the burnt edges.

My daughter was super excited to have an entire GF menu... only to be incredibly disappointed when we found out the only GF pasta option was cheese ravioli. The server took note that she has Celiac and seemed to truly care (we're new to this, mad still getting a feel for what Qs to ask!). Her meal came and there were only 6 (small) ravioli, but she did enjoy it.

A pretty big gluten free menu, but they were out of everything besides the gluten free pizza, which stinks because all their pasta sounded very good. Pizza was alright, tasted like most gluten free pizzas. Didn’t feel the best after eating, but I’m not blaming that on the food 100% because I’m not sure. Still a nice restaurant and I recommend!

I ordered the pizza and immediately starting feeling the effects of gluten. They do have a gluten free menu that has more items then most restaurants to choose from. If you’re sensitive like me then I would pass on the pizza. The waitress did know what celiac was.

2022 update: call to see if they still do gluten free.
We eat here all the time when visiting Moab. My son has celiac and he gets the GF pizza. We’ve never had a problem, and it’s a really delicious crust! They have a big gf menu offering. We were there on Memorial Day so it was extremely busy but they were very knowledgeable about cross contamination, and I wasn’t concerned at all.

We were laughed at when we asked about the gluten-free options they are "known for". The waiter literally told us to go somewhere else because everything is cross contaminated. When I said I would settle for a plain salad since everyone else was ready to order, he actually seemed disappointed that we opted to stay. After 45 minutes, he came out to tell us that the kitchen had lost our order and he had put a rush on the food. Once our food did arrive, everyone seemed happy with their meal. My salad was, well, lettuce with a few artichoke hearts, cheese slices and peppers. In the end, he dropped off our tickets (which were incorrect), said C-Ya then walked away. The hostess helped us pay our tabs so we could leave. Bottom line, I'm not sure how their gluten free options taste. I was really disappointed to find that the reviews were either inaccurate or this particular waiter simply did not want to serve me.

Most of the pasta here can be made gluten free and they offer a gluten free bread. I had the Alfredo with chicken and broccoli that was very good and the staff said the sauce does not have a flour thickener. They also offer marinara (my mom said it was a little spicy) and a pesto (my brother-in-law said it was very creamy. It is not dedicated gf but I did not get glutened.

I told the waiter that I had Celiacs and I’m also dairy free atm. They put down the order as a gluten allergy and was very happy with how the pizza came out. Although about 20 later I was in a horrible state. Definitely had some kind of cross contamination or had unseen gluten on it. Felt horrible.

This was a miss for me personally. I tried the Neapolitan pasta with chicken. It comes with their Alfredo, pesto and marinara sauces side by side on a bed of gf noodles. The chicken was horribly dry and at $7 was not worth it at all. The pesto is a very strange flavor and doesn’t seem like a normal pesto. The Alfredo was bland and completely forgettable. The marinara was delicious! The waitress did mention that they had to boil separate water for my noodles so it took a little longer for my food but I was completely fine with that. As usual there is no bread to go with it :(

When I asked to speak with someone who could help me, someone came out right away and say they use the same oven for pizza (which I can’t eat anyways bc dairy) but they do clean the oven before they use it each time! And they have separate pasta that is gf!
They have a separate gf menu that is awesome! Most of the same things from the main menu but made gf. I got the margarita pasta and it was delicious! I am a super sensitive celiac and it didn’t make me sick at all! Just make sure you let them know you have celiacs before you order

Pasta was just okay but don’t pay the extra fee for the garlic bread. It lacked flavor. Wouldn’t come again.
I found a piece of what I think was normal pasta in my dish. Felt sick later.

The staff is very aware of what celiac is. The waiter wore gives when he brought my food out. I had the ravioli and it was delicious. Did not get sick.

The staff were knowledgable and when asked also stated pizza cooked in a separate oven, so could eat relaxed, and had no problems- highly recommended, in good agreement with earlier reviews - enjoy! 2x visits.....
Disappointed to be writing this after all the positive reviews but ordered a gluten free pizza from the Moab location and found a regular pasta noodle mixed into the toppings too late. Got sick. Would not recommend.

During a recent VK in Moab, checked out Pasta Jay’s based on favorable reviews in this app. Ate here multiple times during our stay in Moab. All waitresses that served us were knowledgeable about celiacs. Their pesto is to die for!
