After reading reviews I was leary. I shouldn't have been. The server and manager were very knowledgeable. The homemade pasta was delicious. I had a real meal and then some with no side effects. 5 stars for me

Unfortunately when I went i did get glutened, however they did warn me before hand and said that their pasta was made in the same facility with flour around. if you’re not super sensitive it’s a great place! food tasted amazing though!

I love my girl Louise. You just don’t find high quality fresh gluten free pasta that often! Pasta here manages to actually be toothsome and springy unlike a lot of the gf options out there.
I wouldn’t say it’s the safest environment — I made sure that they cook it in its own water but the staff said there was a risk of cross contamination since the kitchen is small. To be safest, you could get the pasta to go and cook it yourself — I’ve done that and it comes out great.
Unlike another reviewer I thought the staff was super nice and happy to talk about gluten. But it’s definitely not a dedicated space so YMMV!

the food was meh. the waitstaff was kind of rude about celiac, and the pasta was nothing special. i would choose a fully GF establishment like Senza Gluten over this place anyday— it’s just not worth the trip.

They are very knowledgeable about GF practices and they even know what celiacs is! The manager told me that they clean all the machines, make all of the GF pasta first, and keep and prepare it separately. It’s not dedicated so there is always a small risk, but I’ve eaten here a few times now with no problem at all. I’m usually very cautious when dining out, but I feel confident that the kitchen and staff are safe. Server makes a note on your order and also speaks to the chef to be double sure your meal is GF. I also dined with a friend who has dairy intolerance and they were very accommodating as well, and were able to walk him through which sauces were ok.

I called and spoke extensively with the people at Pasta Louise. They are NOT celiac safe!! They make the pasta in a place filled with wheat flour. They use a “sanitizer” on the same pasta machine they use for wheat pasta- which might eliminate germs but not flour residue, they don’t even put the pots through a commercial dishwasher but wash by hand- and use the same pots that use gluten. The manager I spoke with said -oh no - our gluten free items are not celiac safe. I think there is a misconception that they are. They are good for people choosing a gluten free diet but for whom cross contamination is not a serious issue as there will definitely be cross contamination. For those with celiac- it isn’t safe sadly!

Meals were delicious! Both gluten free and homemade flour pasta were both loved by our party. Great appetizer and drinks. Nice vibe. Will be back!

Delicious. I called and asked if their sauces are GF or if it’s just the noodles marked GF and they said everything other than the meatballs. I ordered the pesto + burrata. So good.

Amazing gluten free pasta - probably the best I’ve ever had! The texture is great, very sturdy, with just the right amount of chew. The spicy crispy prosciutto was also delish!

Celiac heaven!! I love finding a place that makes me forget about celiac and lets me eat food that’s objectively incredible, not just “good for gluten free.” Their house made GF rigatoni is certainly the best GF fresh pasta I’ve ever had, and it’s fun to eat fresh pasta again! They told me the classic “cross contamination is always possible,” but they use separate equipment, separate water, etc. and make a strong effort to avoid contamination. I didn’t get sick! The cacio e pepe is amazing, as was the special spring pasta!

Celiacs, RUN to Pasta Louise!
- I ordered and ate like a normal person with my friends 10/10
- The gluten free pasta is out of this world 10/10
- Food was a bit slow, and when my friend asked about ours the server said it was because they were boiling fresh water for the gluten free pasta 10/10
I was skeptical about going to a pasta restaurant but they were so kind and understanding about cross contamination. Hands down my new favorite restaurant.

Most sauces are GF (with the exception of one with meatballs) and GF pasta is prepared separately. Everything is delicious and the staff and owners are incredibly nice.

Pasta Louise is one of the most deli ours places in the neighborhood! They confirmed that they use a dedicated pasta machine and cooking water to make their homemade GF pasta.
