If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Despite reassurances that they could flag as an "allergy", change gloves, clean surfaces etc, they carried the GF crust in on top of a flour bin, put the pizza directly in the floury oven, used same cutter, etc. when questioned, the manager said "yeah, well it's not a GF environment." Avoid like the plague if you have celiac disease or NCGS.

Chris the manager was outstanding about CC. The best pizza I have had so far.
Hands down, my favorite pizza in the Bay Area. Despite a severe gluten allergy, I've never had a problem at this location.
(A footnote to Dan's one-star review: the staff does wash their hands before starting a GF pie.)

We ordered a GF pizza and emphasizes our sensitivity. When they brought the pizza my 7 year old facing the kitchen noticed nobody is wearing gloves... I asked if this was prepared separately and was answered they will remake it. Waiting impatiently we see our remade pizza is ready and right before being taken out we see a kitchen worker take it back and with bare hands tops it with arugula or spices... So they went back to remake it for the 3rd time. It tasted very good but this was no fun, and I wonder what would have happened if my alert child wasn't facing the kitchen.

Best pizza in the Bay!
Yes
This Patxi's is fantastic: consistently good service, no cross-contamination issues. They'll even make a gluten-free version of the Burrata appetizer by cooking up a GF crust brushed with olive oil in ace of Foccacia.
The only thing I have to watch out for is that some of the meats aren't GF (e.g. the sausage, and I have doubts about the coppa.) The Proscuitto is fine, as is the bacon.
This has become a regular haunt for my sweetie and myself (and I'm seriously allergic to wheat.)
Well, it was gluten free pizza. My issues are more with the service than anything else.
This location is amazing! Jimmy and the rest of the crew truly get gf, celiac and cross contamination! I highly recommend checking it out. Their salads rock and they are very kid friendly!

I was eating their gluten free crust with daiya vegan cheese before I found out I needed to be gluten free. SO yummy!
Name is actually "Paxti's". FABULOUS GF crust, tasty, nicely risen, tastes you don't think it's GF. Greats cheeses, unusual combinations. GF pizza is not an oxymoron here
BEWARE!!! I ordered a gluten free take out and they sent me home with a normal pizza and I got glutened with one accidental bite and got very sick. Make sure to double triple check that they are being careful. I don’t trust them at this point and can’t even imagine about their cross contamination.

Idk why people don’t talk about this place more, out of all the pizza places in Santa Barbara this one is by far the best. They were very knowledgeable about everything gluten free and put in a lot of effort to make sure I felt safe eating there. They contacted the chef and let the kitchen know about the “allergy” and for anyone wondering it is COMPLETELY separate from all the other gluten. They offer many options for pizza types as well as 2 different sizes of pizza crust which was great. And not to mention the food was amazing gluten and gluten free. All around great restaurant and highly recommend visiting. P.S price point is a little high

Delicious gf crust. Very cute location. Most likely cross contaminated though.

It is a really good pizza! I tried the margherita. The only bad thing is it took a while to be brought to our table. I read here there is cross contamination, I did not check that. I actually read it after I had eaten.

The gluten free crust isn’t well marked on the menu, but I knew it was there and I asked (I couldn’t even find it on the menu actually). The pizza was good, tasted like gluten free crust (not amazing but not bad), and the pizza is very customizable which is fun. Good location and many other non-gluten options for my fellow diners. I would go again!
