Pei Wei

I’ve never had Pei Wei’s before but have heard in the gf community it’s safe. We ordered online through grub hub and luckily they had a separate gluten free menu. There wasn’t anywhere to write gluten allergy protocols (for cross contamination) so I called and they guy told me they treat every gluten free item ordered off that menu as an allergy! This made me feel better! I ordered the gf chicken w/ broccoli and fried rice and my fiancé had gf beef w/ broccoli and fried rice. I tried both and they were so good. I just wish they put extra soy sauce packets with it but other than that it was amazing to get gf Chinese delivered when we stayed in the cities as that’s never an option in rural WI where I live. Did not get sick at all and both dishes came with gf stickers on them! Will order again!

Good selection of GF options clearly marked on the menu board. I had the kung pao shrimp with fried rice. Notified employee that I have a gluten allergy and he verified my food choices were gf and would be handled carefully. My plate was delivered separately from the other non-gf dishes. No issues. Will 100% be back!

I have ordered takeout from this establishment a couple of times and have been really pleased with both the taste of the food and the precautions they take to ensure that my food isn’t contaminated. I’ve never had an issue with reactions after eating there.

My daughter got very ill from eating here. I don't think they gave us a gluten free entre. It looked like the regular sweet and sour chicken with the package marked gluten free.

They have expanded their gf menu to include, Mongolian beef, Kung pao shrimp, broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken or shrimp, pro wei original shrimp, chicken salad... they also have an upgrade option for cauliflower fried rice. It was the best I have ever had. We had the the psi wei shrimp and sweet and sour chicken. Delicious!! They use potato starch for the breading on all their deep fried entries, therefore the frier is gf.

They have two choices: the sweet and sour or the peiwei original spicy, with either chicken or shrimp as meat. White or brown rice. Got the pw original with chicken. I was surprised to see it breaded! But they told me it was potato starch breading, and totally GF. Tasted AMAZING. I missed the breaded stuff! I hope they get more gf options in the future! Try the spicy chicken, I love it! Wish they offered more GF choices, but the 2 they offer are really good and I love this place. Nice staff, call or order ahead online for super fast service... good value too!

I do appreciate that Pei Wei offers gluten free menu items. But the sauce for these is virtually the same and very vinegar heavy. Perhaps it's to make up for the omission of soy sauce? Whatever the reason, it's not a good result.

Excellent gluten-free Chinese food. This is our go-to for Chinese take out in our household.

Half a dozen or so gf options. You need to request the gf menu. Not to sure that they are familiar with gf protocol, or that they care about it. Haven't gotten sick there, it's kid friendly, so we keep going, but I wonder. ...

Always delicious. Limited menu, but It answers the crave for g/f Chinese food. Grateful for this option. I miss it when I travel.

They have some great options for gluten free. I ordered bourbon chicken and white rice, and it was very tasty!

I have eaten at this Pei Wei location at least 6 times and have had no reactions to their gluten free meals. I am highly sensitive to cross-contact. The menu is clearly marked and the manager was able to answer all of my questions.
