Do not get anything fried !!
However, the staff was very kind and listened to celiac explanation. Recommended tortilla soup with no tortilla and that was good.

The whole menu is GF and if there is gluten in the meal then they put a G next to it. I’m very sensitive and ordered shrimp tacos. Their chips are fried in a shared fryer tho.

At first glance, you’d think you have a lot of options as the regular menu only marks the few items that overtly contain gluten. However, it does not account for the high risk of cross contamination. You can ask for a separate allergen menu, but it’s literally the most confusing menu I’ve ever seen (I posted a photo). The server wasn’t even sure how to interpret the many different symbols but was very upfront and knowledgable about points of cross contamination.
The shared fryer means that chips are not safe. The tortillas are corn, but they are not made in house so they can’t guarantee there’s no cross contamination in the facility they buy them from. The server was so empathetic and said she has advocated for a dedicated fryer, but no luck so far. She said the tortilla soup was probably the safest bet so that’s what I got. It was a large portion and tasted good, but other than that the options are pretty limited for food.

As someone with celiac, I’m super cautious. Even though the menu is labeled when an item contains gluten, it doesn’t account for cross contamination. I asked the bartender about whether the chips are safe to eat with celiac, and he confirmed no, everything that is fried shares a fryer. It would be helpful for them to disclaim that, as nothing fried is labeled to contain gluten. Don’t eat anything fried, whether it’s labeled gf or not.

Server was courteous and checked with kitchen staff regarding cross contamination. Our server warned us that the chips are made in a shared frier. Glutenous options are marked, which should be quite helpful for those with a gluten sensitivity, rather than celiac. Fantastic flavors.

Items with gluten noted on the menu. As with so many places, the server can make all the difference. We had a wonderful server who took me seriously. I had a chopped salad with grilled chicken and a yummy margarita. Did not get sick at all.

This place is not celiac friendly, but at least they are frank about it. Eat at your own risk. Based on my gut feeling, in a literal sense, it wasn't worth it.
No
This place is not celiac friendly. They do not have a dedicated workstation or fryer. Yes they do have GF options but not safe for someone with celiac. The one star is for this worthless app that rated this place as celiac friendly. If we could safely have eaten the food it would have been different.

The food is so delicious!! Everything is good. My favorite is the tacos since they make their own tortillas. You can watch them make the tortillas if you are there at the right time.

For a bar it's a 5. Amazing that almost the whole menu is gluten free, so they only mark what HAS gluten. I had the smoked mushroom tamale and flan. Both very good.
Yummy! Food was delicious. Love that the chips were GF. Great variety of GF options. Restaurant was warm/stuffy though. It was a warm day (mid 80's high) when we went so not sure what it is like on a more typical weather day.

Incredible!! Food was fantastic; so many options. Easy to see what is safe. Staff are well trained, educated and AWESOME! Will absolutely be back!
They are pretty good about offering gluten free options and working with customers with food allergies.
