The service took awhile but the food was good. The manager came and explained what was gf and took our order. Glad we were able to stop here.

I’ve eaten here twice in the past year. The first time was phenomenal and made me feel really safe. The second time, it seemed like the server didn’t understand the severity of celiac disease. With that being said, both times I’ve gotten a burger with fries (I’ve been told they have a dedicated fryer) and I’ve done well! No issues for me and I’m typically very cross-contamination sensitive

Only one item was marked “allergy friendly” on the menu but when I asked the waitress she had the chef come out and advise me. There was a lot of options including some of the specials. I had mahi mahi and shrimp with poblano black bean rice. It was delicious. When they brought the food the chef came out again to make sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns.

Great options and handled really well. The head chef will come out and advise to the options they can serve gluten free. He marks the order on a Red Ticket and handles the safety of the order all the way through the kitchen. We ate here twice and the second time, the chef personally brought the plate to the table. All the food is fresh and tasty. And the price isn’t that much more than many other restaurants on the Seawall.

I just ordered the one thing that gain gluten sensitivity, anaconda pasta. A manager came out to verify and talk me threw that there will be no cross contamination. It was good.

I had a great experience here. Ordered the Tuki Turkey Club on a gluten free bun, the kitchen manager came out to take my order and showed me a few more options than what was listed. Had a side of fries, that the manager confirmed were in a separate fryer, with the sandwich. Great food and atmosphere and didn’t get sick!

The food was good and they were able to make more things gluten free than what was marked on the menu. Son loved his fish and chips and I had pasta with veggies and shrimp. The atmosphere and ride were fun.

My daughter was so excited to eat here again - she ate safely last summer. The server did have the kitchen manager come and take her order. I asked if the fries are in a separate fryer and he assured me they were. My daughter got sick unfortunately.

This is the first time within the US that this has ever happened… I HIGHLY recommend going here!!! The waiter took everyone’s food order and then stated to our gluten intolerant member that the lead chef would come out to verify/discuss the gluten free options for his chosen meal.
Here are some of the options that they offer… penne pasta, corn chips, queso, non-marinated beef and chicken, soft corn tortilla tacos, and a variety of salads with chicken or shrimp…
This being the day after… there were zero after effects!!

Waitress brought out kitchen manager and assured us the area that our food was prepared at would be cleaned throughly and our food handled with care! 10/10 recommend.
Hubby and I split a “Beastly Burger”, the bun was good! Didn’t get sick!

Our experience was good. Takes a while but that’s standard with all rainforest cafes we have ever been to. Tell the waiter and chef comes out to say what’s really available. Only one item “marked” on menu but most of the items are available (fried options were the only not available).

The anaconda pasta was great. I added shrimp, and it was super yummy. My son had a burger with their gf bun, and he linked that as well as the fries.

We went today, which they are offering a limited menu due to the COVID19 pandemic. There was only one gluten free meal on the menu. They did have burgers you can make gluten free. Server did go ask management if there was anything else but was told there was the only singular gluten free option. It was good just a little greasy

They have two things marked gluten free on the menu but the chef will come to your table and tell you what he can make gluten free for you. I went today and actually was able to eat a chicken burger with french fries. He said they have a dedicated fryer for french fries. I haven't had a burger and fries today at a restaurant in years so I was so happy I did today. I am not sick at all either!
The staff is very knowledgeable about their gluten free options and the chef came out to personally take our order to ensure no miscommunication. I’m new to this and finally felt safe eating out.

Our waitress told us all I could have that was gluten free was a burger with no bun. She said there was nothing else on the menu gluten free. I chose not to pay $14 for a hamburger patty so I did not eat. My kids love it there so I’ll go again, but I think your experience just depends on your server.
Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the Gf options on the menu. The atmosphere was fun and I would definitely recommend!
Not worth it. The Nima tester showed Gluten Found (or the wheat symbol). The chef came out and argued with us about it being gluten free, trying to blame it on the food being sent back for the cheese, that wasn’t disclosed anywhere on the menu. (When we ordered our food directly from the chef) Oh and “steamed vegetables” means cheese covered steamed vegetables. Fries are also “dusted” with flour. Nothing is marked on the menu as gluten free so all you can go on is what the chef says and when he’s not thorough in his communications, that’s a lot of faith in one person. Especially someone who has no empathy for what it’s like to have to be celiac in a wheat-based world.

My family went based on reviews, and despite there only being 2 items indicated as "allergy -sensitive". Big mistake! We were optimistic as the hostess said she'd have the chef talk with us personally (great! right? wrong...). The "chef" tells us we can have a gf pasta or gf sandwich bread. I ask, what about other ingredients? sauce? meats? spices? He shrugs and says marinara and pesto "should be ok". My 13yo celiac daughter was willing to take the risk, and fortunately did not get sick. But the lack of options, knowledge and consideration was beyond infuriating. And the total bill was outrageous. $75 for 2 dinners, a kids dinner and 4 drinks. We'll never visit any location again.

Awesome experience! Chef came out to discuss gluten-free options, and explained how he prepares the dishes separately and with care. He took sons order (he has CD) and brought it out with our server. There aren't many GF options but gluten-free buns for burgers, a quinoa spaghetti and kale salad. Son had grilled chicken from kids menu. He ordered mashed potatoes (no gravy) but chef brought out rice and orange slices, too.

Great place for gluten free food! They bring the chef out to talk to you, and there's SO many options!
I have eaten at different Rainforest Cafe's before and had a really good GF experience. When I asked here about a GF menu or options all our waitress said was "we don't have one." I ended up just ordering something that I was pretty certain would be safe and thankfully didn't get sick, but was very disappointed with the service and lack of knowledge from our waitress. Hoping we just caught them on a bad day.

Chef came to the table to discuss options as no gf menu. He was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and outlined how and where each option was cooked. I had a burger with a good gf bun and no effects afterward and I am severe celiac!

"I heard you're really good at accommodating gluten free." "As soon as you say that, I have to alert the chef." The chef came out and took my order personally. He assured me he is the only one touching my food and will be taking every precaution. Also, they have gluten free buns! No dedicated menu, but I feel safer here than many places that do!
Yes
The chef came out and told me things on the menu that were gluten free. I started to order and he asked if I liked things spicy, I replied yes. He asked if he could suggest the special 9, it is a Mahi Mahi filet, shrimp, grilled veggies and rice. It was one of the best dishes I have had in a while.

exceptional service, atmosphere and food. my celiac daughter had grilled chicken and fries. she said it was delicious. chef cam to table to take order and bring her order. Highly Recommend! dedicated fryer for fries
Oustanding service! From our waiter Alen, Greezelle the manager who took time to tell me options that would fit for a celiac, to the chef who also followed up to ensure my dining experience with my husband the service was phenomenal. There's not a dedicated GF menu, but most of the items on the menu can be made GF. The gf food I ordered was also good: grilled shrimp and french fries made in a dedicated fryer, all was good. No side effects either. My husband, a non GF diner also really liked his meal. Thank-you!

My family ate there last night! I was very excited that when I told our waitress that I had to eat GF that she excused herself and went right back and got her manager and he came out with a different color order book and told me I could have anything on the meme except a few certain things and assured me it would all be prepared for my safety! I had a cheese burger ( no bun) warped in lettuce w/ fresh veggies! It was delicious! We will be back!!!
Manager comes out to the table and explains what is gluten free, personally takes your order on a separate paper, and brings the order out to you himself. Service was fantastic and I felt safe knowing they were preparing my order.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a fun place to come with the kids and there were lots of options for everyone.
The Rainforest Cafe doesn't have a dedicated gluten free menu, but the chef comes to your table to tell you what is gluten free. After explaining to me what dishes I could eat, the chef personally took my order on a special "allergy alert" notepad. I ordered steak, rotisserie chicken, wild rice, and French fries. It was such a luxury to eat French fries as they are fried in a separate fryer. I have Celiac Disease, and I did not get sick after eating at the Rainforest Cafe.
No GF menu but chef comes out to your table and goes through the menu with you. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Dedicated GF fryer.
The waitstaff was amazing and assured us there is a dedicated dryer for fries and chips. My kids are both celiac and extremely sensitive and didn’t have any issues. There’s also a pasta option, but we didn’t have it.

I ordered the China chicken salad. the staff help me making that one gluten free by removing a couple of ingredients.
