They have been so good to us every time we go. If we do have a concern they deal with it promptly! It is one of the few places this family with Celiac can eat! The Port Orange one is by far our favorite!

They have a decent size menu for gluten free individuals. My son loves the buns! It's refreshing to be able to go out and get burgers for the family without having to worry. The cook staff is very well trained on how to handle for celiac individuals and is very accommodating. My son also loves the fries!!!!

I can say that between the location at home in Wisconsin and this location, Red Robin has really stepped up its game for gluten allergies. The manager on shift oversaw my food preparations and rejected my fry quality because there was a chance they got seasoned. He made the kitchen make me a new batch of fries. Let me tell you, totally worh the wait. Their gluten free bun is delicious. I definitely recommend Red Robin if you love burgers and fries!

Awesome burger and fries! I had a bacon cheeseburger with a gluten-free bun, excellent. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries so there is no chance of cross-contamination. They offer a printed and dated GF menu that gets updated on a regular basis. Their seasoning salt is also gluten-free. Beemer Bob

It was a good experience. Waitress knew what I was talking about. She did not put my order next to my companion's order. They had to give me an iPad to see what was gluten free on their menu. When I went to another RR location the screens at each table had that info on it. Not here. I had no issues and I am sensitive. So good to eat Fries out - without the seasoning. I noticed this time they state that cross contamination can occur with fries and burgers.

They are aware of celiac and offer gluten free buns that are pretty good. They also have a dedicated gluten free fryer. We'd eaten there many times until one night, the sweet potato fries arrived with a big hunk of breading in the middle of them. Our waitress called the manager out to show him and they did apologize and comped my meal, but it was too late. I'd eaten 3-4 fries before I noticed the breaking & ended up getting very sick :(

Horrible experience. Notified waitress of gluten allergy apparently she didn't tell the kitchen staff. When I got to the bottom of my fries there were onion rings = gluten. The manager came over and said sorry and left, didn't seem to care and didn't offer to discount our meals they messed up. My kids and I all got sick from it. Very disappointing experience. Went there yesterday, selected "gluten" to avoid on their allergen menu, and ordered the nachos. When my food came out, I had chips and cheese with no toppings so the waitress went back to check things out. While she was gone, I noticed a noodle melted into my chips. So I grabbed the next waitress that went by and explained the situation. A few minutes later, my original waitress came back and informed me that her manager said the noodle was "OK" because it was a gf noodle (Red Robin does NOT have gf pasta), but they were making me a new set anyway. Then the manager came by and told me that the nachos were "gluten free but not wheat free," showed me how the nachos disappear as an option when you select both "wheat" and "gluten" on the allergen menu, and then continued to argue that the nachos were gluten free. Clearly there are issues with food prep and the management no longer has the knowledge that used to happen at this restaurant. I ended up not eating anything that day. So sad to have to cross this one off my list of places to eat.

Dec 2016 update--went twice this month and both times it was terrible. We will not be going back, esp with other burger choices now in the Midlo area. The GFree bun had very hard edges both times, like they were stale and burger was cold. Previous review--GFree buns available and they are ok, I think they are Udis. I always get the cheeseburger and a side salad. We eat here monthly with kids. I have never had a reaction with those items. At the restaurant, they say the fries are GFree, so I risked it twice and had stomach ache both times, even with no seasoning. Also use to claim their vanilla shake was GFree, I had severe reaction a few years ago even though they supposedly cleaned the mixer and used a new container. So, stick to meat, GFree bun, lettuce or veggie, no extra sauces and you should be ok.

I love everything about red robin, the food, the staff, the atmosphere. And most of all, they are a great place for celiac. They have a dedicated fryer upon request for the fries. They have options for a GF bun or lettuce wrap. And many sides are also gf including ranch. The online menu makes things easy to figure out. I do not get symptoms from gluten but have been diagnosed celiac. So I cannot tell when I have been glutened (a mixed blessing). But I have seen other reviews that report no symptoms.

Fried onion in my gluten free french fries...I've eaten here once before and no problems, the staff seems knowledgeable of celiac disease and contamination. Last time I was here I was able to pull up an allergen list on the tablet on the table but this time they said I had to look at the menu online. Also the root beer float they said I could eat last time they said wasn't safe, so they don't have it all together. Then of course I found a fried onion string in my basket of gluten free fries (dedicated fryer, so something got mixed up somewhere along the line). They were very apologetic but it won't stop the pain that's going to start here in a few hours.
