We had a wonderful experience. Nearly everything (including chips) were gluten free. Sensitive celiacs and no reactions. Had a loaded quesadilla, tableside guac, and childrens taco and quesadilla.

Food was delicious! Lots of gf and vegetarian options. Our server was knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. Only concern I’d note… the food came out in about 5 min and the place was packed. It gave me a little bit of anxiety about cross contamination. I would suggest going when it’s less busy if you are concerned/nervous about cross contamination.

Staff was very well trained on gluten free. Had lots of options. Dedicated fryer. They even did a fried chimichanga in the gluten free fryer. Great food, great service, didn’t get sick.

I love going to Sangria’s Mexican Grill! Food is excellent! Service is fast! My first time there we placed our drinks and food orders at the same time. The food came out first before the drinks! I think the food was out within 5 mins, no kidding! The drinks followed immediately after. Prices are very reasonable! Portions are large, you don’t walk away hungry! Staff is excellent! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!🥰

The waitress said that everything on the menu is gluten free except the tortillas. You can order your meal with corn tortillas in lieu of the flour tortillas. The chips are also gluten free. We double checked as we ordered. It was so nice to be able to order anything of the regular menu without concern. My gluten free son's order of carne asada came with a chicken enchilada on the side and two sides. He chose refried beans and chorizo potato mash. He enjoyed it all! The rest of the party also enjoyed their meals. We will be back next time we visit Wisconsin!

I have always had a positive experience at this restaurant. Today the cook messed up my GF order by giving me flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. After one bite, I could tell. The waitress apologized and said she would get it fixed. Someone other than our waitress brought out my second plate. This plate had corn tortillas but the cook had just taken the ingredients from the flour tortillas and flipped them onto the corn tortillas. How could I tell? First, the ingredients were upside down. Second the fish I bit into was now on the new plate with the corn tortillas. I had to point out that all the ingredients had been in direct contact with the gluten of the flour tortilla. The waitress politely took my plate back. By the time my order was finally made correctly, my dinner guest had finished eating. Food was delicious. Waitress worked hard to get it right for me, starting with taking my order and confirming GF and DF. Thankfully, I go out to restaurants with Gluten-Ease, just in case. Food here is great, but either there are new cooks, or they are overwhelmed. Mistakes of this magnitude just should not happen in this day and age. Dietary allergies are no longer an uncommon thing. The positive is we had a fantastic waitress. Also, received 50% off my dinner due to the errors. Do NOT hesitate to double check your food is GF.

I have always had great experience here with eating GF, but this time was different. The waiter seemed to gloss over my request for celiac safe and because of my last safe experiences, I let it go. My bad. I was definitely glutened and am very sick now. My advice is just to be sure your server understands your needs. The food is great.

One menu-but everything on menu can be made gluten free! Wow, everything was fresh and the chimichanga was nice and crisp. Plate was a different color for identification. Dedicated fryer and grill. After 15, I enjoyed a Mexican dinner. And the wait staff was funnny and awesome!

Holy cow. Massive amounts of food, very friendly staff. The food was great, and the drinks strong. Definitely worth stopping by if you want Mexican. Even the salsa with the chips was excellent

Food was absolutely delicious. Staff is super knowledgeable about gluten allergies. All I had to do was mention my gluten allergy and the the server gave me all the information I needed. She was also super nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

My server told me that most of the things on the menu can be made GF and that only the flour tortillas contain wheat. The tortilla chips were fried in their own fryer and there is a dedicated GF kitchen space.

I loved it! They gave us so many chips and bean dip and then they refilled both before our food came so I was barely hungry. It was a LOT of food and it will last me two complete meals.

They have a patio space, which we took advantage of for social distancing. Knowledgeable waitstaff and overall very friendly place.

Great experience. The only gluten item they have are the flour tortillas and they have a separate fryer. Sooooo much to choose from! Let them know to sub corn tortilla for flour etc & ask any questions the wait staff is so helpful. This will be a regular stop!

One of my favorite restaurants in the entire area! You'll love it here if you like Mexican food! Their bean dip is outstanding and be sure to get something with queso blanco if you don't have dairy issues. My favorite sides are poblano rice, papas con chorizo, and black beans.

Incredible food - not your typical Mexican restaurant. Their seafood especially shines. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about gluten free, and some of the waiters have shared that they have celiacs. They have stated they can make anything on their menu gluten free - they can even do GF chimichangas by layering corn tortillas instead of flour.

Fabulous food, and a fun atmosphere. I've been here numerous times and have NEVER had a bad reaction. My favorite meal is the beef taquito dish, although it's not listed on the menu anymore they will still make it if you ask. The chips with the bean dip served before the meal is also delicious.

The fresh chips have their own fryer, everything can be carefully prepared with corn tortillas..and its all authentic Mexican. The staff are very kind and accommodating. INCREDIBLE MENU AND FOOD. WOW. It's hard to find a lot of gluten free options like this in the area. The ENTIRE menu can be made gluten free (not just by removing ingredients but by adding gluten free ones in!) Try this place out you will not be disappointed! (The table side guacamole is to die for and they're super accommodating to removing ingredients)
