We had lunch here today. We were surprised to find several gluten free options on the menu.

I loved my experience here! I was nervous at first because I wasn’t sure how many GF options the Biltmore would have. However, there are a variety of GF foods marked on the menu and my server was very knowledgeable and kind. She made sure to note that I was celiac and discussed it with the kitchen staff as well to avoid cross contamination. I got the shrimp and grits and I highly recommend. I am very sensitive and had no reaction.

We had a wonderful experience at The Stable Cafe! Our server was very knowledgeable and checked with the kitchen about further concerns we have as there are multiple allergies besides gluten. They were able to make tweaks and substitutions to fill our needs. GF buns are available for burgers and chips can be substituted for fries. I ordered the Springer Mountain Chicken and was very pleased. Great to have GF Carolina mustard BBQ for the first time in years!

I struggle to write this given all the good reviews. When we sat down I told the server I have celiac. When I asked further about cross contamination and how the kitchen was informed he didn’t really say. I ordered the grain bowl marked GF on menu). When it came out I was unsure of the grains and asked the server. He asked chef and she came out to the table to talk with me. She showed a picture of the ingredients on the bag, all were GF (and the bag said gluten free), however it did have whole oats in it, so be warned. She let us know they were aware of it in the kitchen. However the person who brought out the food had a plate of rolls and was clearly unaware of the celiac. I’m not sure I’d eat there again simply due to the loose protocols. With all that being said, I’m extremely sensitive and did not have any issues.

I was terrified going to Biltmore knowing I could not bring food. But the menu at this on-site restaurant had most of the items available GF. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and I did not get sick. Even had chocolate crème brûlée for dessert, which was amazing.

Great food, friendly staff! Ate here twice while visiting the Biltmore. A bit pricey but worth it. For lunch, I had a burger with chips (fries are made in a shared fryer). All the toppings were automatically put to the side and they brought me condiment packets instead of using the condiments in bottles that they use for the gluten-containing meals. I had bison rib for dinner along with a side salad and sherbet. No reaction. I believe their evening menu changes daily. No reaction. felt safe eating here

I was really impressed that the waitress stated the soup of the day was gluten free right off the bat. Menu was clearly marked and they brought gluten free bread with our meal. We had the sampler platter and it was very good. The parsnip soup special was also good. I felt very confident with ordering here and eating here

I was alittle concerned that the Biltmore courtyard didn't have GF options...but then we walked in the Stable Cafe and our concerns were put to rest! You know it a trustworthy place when the waitress asks if you are either GF or Celiac! Food was delicious.

Great options. Wonderful staff. Too much food to eat. The feast for two sampler could feed three!

My husband and I ate at Cedric’s Tavern, the Village Social, and the Stable Cafe during our Biltmore visit. All restaurants had a separate gluten free menu. The staff were very knowledgeable on gluten free items and substitutions. At Cedric Tavern, our waitress even brought us out some delicious homemade pickles in lieu of the traditional bread before the meal. And at the Village Social, our waitress brought us some yummy gluten-free chocolate truffles and berries for dessert, complementary! The entire treatment by all Biltmore restaurant staff was superb!

Wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable about GF options. Food and service both outstanding. Ate here two days in a row with no issues. Can’t wait to go back on my next trip to Asheville.

This place was AMAZING!! The waiter was so knowledgeable about gluten and what I could have and assured me everything was safely! I am super sensitive to any cross contamination and I had the pear and beet salad. then the filet migon for entree and the sorbet for dessert! I didn’t get sick! 10/10 recommend.

Limited Christmas menu in effect now! Servers were just learning what was gluten free and what was not. Can sub barley for mashed potatoes. Food was adequate, mass produced. Most convenient for Candlelight Christmas tour.
Great gluten free options! I had a delicious meal and gluten free peanut butter cake for dessert. Busy atmosphere, but friendly and helpful staff. Was surprised I was able to get a table without a reservation or wait Friday at lunchtime.
staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. almost everything on the menu was GF, as all sandwiches could be made with GF bread. we had the sampler and it was all amazing! Waitress brought GF toast so I could try their incredible butter! only thing off limits was the meatloaf.
We had the send the plate back because there was one item on it that was not gluten free. They apologized for the mistake, got me a whole new meal...and no reactions. So I was very happy overall, but I'm not saying it's celiac safe because I'm very critical lol.
Numerous GF options, the waitstaff was knowledgeable about concerns and the GF chicken salad sandwich was great, tasty GF bread! Quality food and good, prompt service
The Biltmore gives 5 star service, and this restaurant is no different! Very attentive server who was even kind enough to caution me "make sure you don't have any of your husbands fries- the frier is not safe." Highly sensitive celiac and I've not gotten sick once!

Food was good (salad, burger and chips). Waitress was very knowledgeable and even went back to cook to tell them to be extra careful with our food. Fun atmosphere.
