Hands down the best restaurant in Bryson City. They have limited availability- only 7 or so tables so make a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the bacon wrapped dates, the trout, and cobbler for dessert. Our waitress, Kayla, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about gluten free. (She did say that sometimes they have to leave the cornmeal crust off the trout because they get different brands of cornmeal based on availability.) If you’re in Bryson City, make this place a priority. Next level meal and best part: didn’t get sick!!

We were near Bryson City for some hiking and decided to stay for dinner. I am so glad we chose the Bistro! The staff was all very knowledge and there were multiple options for each course. We had the trout cakes, shared the fried trout entree, and finished off with CHEESECAKE!!!! The cheesecake was made with a gluten free graham cracker crust and it was amazing. Definitely give them a try if you're In the area!

Hard to get seated without a reservation. The menu is small to begin with but they have one our two entree options that are GF (trout dish, hummus appetizer, salad, maybe special). Very careful about allergies, and if you make a reservation they will ask for allergies ahead of time. Chefs came back with options on how they can cook things GF. Wish they had GF labeled on menu.

I was a little worried before coming here because of some of the reviews saying they aren’t celiac friendly since their rebrand, but I had a great experience! I alerted my server of my allergy and she immediately wrote it down and told the chef. I got the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely delicious!!! Didn’t get sick at all and I am very sensitive to cross contamination

Wonderful waitstaff. Very helpful with gluten and dairy issues. The food was great. My wife and I both had trout. A bit pricy. Highly recommend it if you want a good meal and don't mind spending a little extra.
I used to eat here all the time when it was the old Cork and Bean. However since expansion I have gotten extremely sick after eating here, so I no longer dine here due to consistently getting sick. Good option if you are just cutting out gluten, but certainly an unsafe choice for Celiacs.

Flavorful and delicious brunch. Had fresh and tasteFULL breakfast crepe (divine) options for me and sandwich options for the rest. Great service.

no longer open for lunch. The Filling Station deli down the street was terrific instead.
Appreciated the staff working with me on my dietary restrictions. I have never had crepes before, gluten-free one was delicious. Thank you for working with me!

Menu clearly states they don't have a designated gluten free prep area. Not celiac friendly

The food was very good but pricey for the small portions. They have gf white bread, but no burger/sandwich buns.
A lot of GF options, I had a great salad!

I first found this place 3 yrs ago when I came here with my mom on vacation. I loved the food so much I had to come back to this area so I could eat here again!
The food and staff were great! Went for breakfast and had eggs, potatoes, and gf toast. Went back for lunch another day and had a gf crepe, salad, and the gf carrot cake. Total yum! The only thing that I would request is a separate fryer for the sweet potato fries.

I had the chicken with rice pilaf top with salsa. The ribe eye steak was delicious. The Trout could be made GF. For dessert I had the organic GF carrot cake. Definitely would visit again.
