Very little on the menu. Extremely slow service. I would be worried about safety.

Have gluten free menu and the first time I ate here I had no problems. Tonight however they bought my dinner with a sauce not on the gf menu. I asked about it and was told it was fine, still skeptical I asked again and for the ingredients. The manager brought over the list of types of sauces used to make the sauce in question insisting it was gluten free. It clearly listed soy sauce in the sauce list (no individual ingredients listed out though). They did remake it without sauce, but it took probably 10 minutes to get them to offer to remake it and I still think they think the sauce is gfree which I don’t believe it is. Meal was great once it was recooked though I took most of it to go after the rest of my party had finished.
Gluten free menus (including one for Sunday brunch) with a variety of options. Love the shrimp and grits! Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Really love this place. I have Celiac and have never gotten sick. Did have to send back one entree because it came out with a muffin (brought by a food runner), but the waiter promptly and apologetically corrected the issue.
Terrible food and horrible service. Took 2hrs to eat with two people. Had to remake my salad three times before they got it right. ( GF no cheese no bacon) They insisted on bringing me a muffin on my salad!! π© Mashed potatoes were terrible and spinach tasted like boiled out of the can!! Will never ever go back!!!
I ate the shrimp and grits. It rivaled Vic's on the river in Savannah. Great choices on menu. I can't wait to try other options
$$$ It was fantastic! I made dinner reservations 2 hours before, and told them about my gluten problem and they took excellent care of our entire party. The food was fantastic, the service superb, I couldn't have asked for anything better! You must try them. They have several locations nationally.price is a bit high but well worth it!
Fabulous food, great service and extremely conscientious about GF! Worth every penny! The only complaint I would have is the ladies room was dirty, but it's the same everywhere we go! What's up with that!!??
Had lunch here on our first visit to Winston-Salem – amazing food, GF menu with lots of great choices, and flexible “from scratch” kitchen. Server was very knowledgeable about GF needs and took great care of us. “Certified GF Safe Spot.” Indoor and outdoor seating – we really enjoyed our outdoor table. Can’t wait to come back here on our next visit!

Village tavern is great π The server was a little short about questions and clarifications, but was just very informative and willing to answer any questions. There is a pretty thorugh gluten free menu! I would double check to make sure everything is on the up and up once you get your food, but they have very good customer service and will get a manager to answer any questions the server might not be able to answer :)

Managed to handle my celiac incredibly well! Staff was very knowledgeable and careful, and they had a large gluten free menu! They were also able to independently accommodate my girlfriend’s dairy and peanut allergies.
They even had a manager stop by to make sure our allergies were well accommodated.

We requested the gluten free menu and had the GF BBQ Chicken pizza and then the chicken sandwich with the GF bun. The bun was delicious and arrived still in the package.

My husband said his grilled chicken spinach salad with honey mustard was the best salad he has ever had. The tavern salad was also excellent, as were the pizzas. They were thin crust and delicious. The teens liked their entrees.
