I’ve eaten here multiple times with no issue as I’ve gotten to know the staff well. They understand my needs to eat safely. There are a few GF items in the menu. I normally get the shrimp and grits or the GF pizza. The pizza is cooked in a separate tin from the other pizzas and tastes great!

My son was glutened by their Gf pizza. We are both celiac and I had a bun less burger and steamed asparagus and was fine but he got severely sick after. The waitress was very knowledgeable but something must have been CC. My food was ok and service was kind, just been a horrible week of aftermath for my son.

Ordered off gluten free menu, explained in detail my girlfriend was celiac, she had reaction as if she just ate a loaf of bread. What a joke !!!!! DO NOT RECCOMEMD FOR GLUTEN FREE !!!!

Ordered off of gf menu. Salad and main course came out prepared from regular menu. They had to make both dishes over again. Be careful

Large gluten free menu and tons of options! The spaghetti squash is my fav.

Had lunch here on our first visit to Winston-Salem – amazing food, GF menu with lots of great choices, and flexible “from scratch” kitchen. Server was very knowledgeable about GF needs and took great care of us. “Certified GF Safe Spot.” Indoor and outdoor seating – we really enjoyed our outdoor table. Can’t wait to come back here on our next visit!

Village tavern is great 👍 The server was a little short about questions and clarifications, but was just very informative and willing to answer any questions. There is a pretty thorugh gluten free menu! I would double check to make sure everything is on the up and up once you get your food, but they have very good customer service and will get a manager to answer any questions the server might not be able to answer :)

Managed to handle my celiac incredibly well! Staff was very knowledgeable and careful, and they had a large gluten free menu! They were also able to independently accommodate my girlfriend’s dairy and peanut allergies.

They even had a manager stop by to make sure our allergies were well accommodated.

We requested the gluten free menu and had the GF BBQ Chicken pizza and then the chicken sandwich with the GF bun. The bun was delicious and arrived still in the package.

My husband said his grilled chicken spinach salad with honey mustard was the best salad he has ever had. The tavern salad was also excellent, as were the pizzas. They were thin crust and delicious. The teens liked their entrees.
