Zagol Ethiopian Restaurant

I've eaten here for years and never gotten sick. You must request gluten free injera. I always get the veggie combo and it's absolutely delicious! Love Zagol!

We love Ethiopian food and haven't been able to enjoy it since developing a severe gluten intolerance as well as several other food allergies and intolerances. Before the pandemic I used to order GF (100% teff) injera from Zagol and made my own food to accompany it. I'm sooooo glad that we decided to dine in the restaurant. The owner is very knowledgeable about gluten intolerance, super kind and the lady serving us was wonderful as well. Prices are reasonable as well. We will return . . . actually we are headed there now! Yum!!! *** Updating to mention: We eat here at least 1-2 times each month (sometimes once each week) and even with my other intolerances I've never had an issue. The food is delicious every time.

Delicious food! We requested all GF injera and shared combo plates. It was fantastic!

They are nice and the food is fine but it’s not my favorite gf Ethiopian joint in town.

Service staff doesn’t understand gf, but ask to talk to the chef. She knows! Made the mistake of not doing this one time and ate a piece of breaded fried fish in a stew

First time in years able to eat Ethiopian and not get sick. Waiter was friendly and GF conscious, said they make two kinds of injera, one GF and the other not and to just tell them on way in. Food was delicious, even more interesting flavor profile than I remember this cuisine. This is where the legendary Assimba was located so Ethiopian food has been cooked in the space for over 25 years.. definitely going back!

Amazing! We absolutely love it here! The owner is so wonderful and makes everything. she is very knowledgeable about gluten free. be sure to ask for gluten free as they have two kinds of injera. We always order the veggie and meat combo and both are phenomenal.
