They have an allergen binder, and Sharon is supremely knowledgeable about allergens. This is my first time here, and I will definitely be back. It is so obvious she really cares about everyone here being informed, and the training manual on allergens that she made is phenomenal. I am super impressed.

Several gluten-free options available. Server noted allergy when taking order and said the kitchen will change gloves and fries are gluten free too. I had high hopes for their gluten-free bun given their reputation, but my burger came on two pieces of lightly toasted flavorless bread that fell apart immediately. Was disappointed, especially as it was a $4 upcharge to an already pricey burger. I would go again but try something else. Fries were tasty.

The fried chicken and Mac and cheese was soooo delicious! I wasn’t sure that I would love the combo but it was fantastic. I was told it would take longer to prepare since they had to make the GF chicken separately. We’ll worth the wait.

Very expensive. Getting the gf fried chicken had a lot of upcharge. Not as many gf options as I was hoping for, definitely the sort of place where they don't bother to make a gf gravy. But the food was very tasty! Make a reservation!!!

I’ve always had good experiences here. The staff is very knowledgeable and I’ve always felt safe eating here! The regular gf waffles are delicious, but the bacon and grits waffles are divine. They also have fantastic gf chicken and a dedicated fryer!

Very celiac friendly! Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten-free needs. She was helpful and reassuring. My first french fries in a long time! They have a separate GF fryer, so I also ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was breaded with GF flour. Turns out I had to eat the huge chicken breast with a knife and fork, as it was too large to eat on the bread as a sandwich. The GF sandwich bread was good eaten separately. Next time I would try the burger on their GF bun. No reaction after the meal! Their homemade pimento cheese appetizer was delicious!

Glutened me!

The GF fried chicken was NOT GF.

I am celiac but not as sensitive as others and this destroyed me for 3 days!

And yes I reconfirmed at order and when the food arrived.

I used to like this place but Plz stay away!

Food was ok. I felt like my fried chicken was burnt. And my 1 piece of GF to start the meal was $2.50. I do understand the up charge for GF but that seems like a little much. Like I have read the GF comes out on plates instead of their crates or baskets.

Called ahead and was assured that they had a large gluten-free menu - not as large as I had hoped. Servers still seemed to think that they had a lot of items to offer. My daughter chose a cheeseburger (they hold the brioche bun to make it GF), but if you want and kind of bread with that hamburger be prepared to pay an additional $3 for two slices of gluten-free bread. Yes, I know that this is Ann Arbor, but when you are already paying $17 for a cheeseburger and french fries, it should be on bread.

Their menu listed malted gluten free waffles...??? Food was good, but I still question whether the food is truly celiac safe and if the staff know what they are talking about. We were there for brunch and there are fewer options than the regular dinner menu.

I was really disappointed when I got here. I had been looking forward to the gluten free fried chicken, which is a rarity, but it was not celiac safe. As it turns out, they do have a dedicated fryer but the hostess talked to the kitchen who said that sometimes the fryer ‘gets contaminated’ and that people have done the Nima sensor tests on the chicken and it has shown that it contains gluten. Unfortunately not celiac safe :( also had a wait of 30 mins

I went there as my first time meeting out since diagnosed with Celiacs. my waiter was very attentive and interested and making sure I got the food I needed. Everything was great until he told me they scraped the grill really well. I had already eating my dinner. So while the food was delicious beware to make sure they cook the food without cross contamination.

Consistently amazing, over the top stellar food and service. Waitress Aya was fantastic, friendly and made my celiac daughter feel reassured with her steak and potatoes. Gave her two containers of extra mashed potatoes to take home with her leftover steak, and also some prepackaged brownies. "Townie Brownies" are GF (also gave us two other varieties, non GF).

As a GF (Celiac) vegetarian, I never know what I am going to get. What I've gotten here? AMAZING. GF mac and cheese to die for (best I've ever had, and top 5 mac and cheeses EVER), dedicated fryer sweet potato fries, cheesy grits. VERY knowledgeable staff who asked questions when they didn't know, and knew most of the answers to start. Definitely make a reservation!

Awesome! I had the chili and hand cut frys and both were delicious!! Basically everything had dairy in it, even the eggs, so that limited my selection; be sure to ask if you have a dairy issue as well. We went at brunch time on a Sunday and they still accommodated me no problem even with a line out the door. I wish I lived in MI so I could go back. I will have dreams about the chili.

4.5 stars. Friendly. Overall, well marked menu. Appears to have seasonal menu along with staples which is a great balance. They accommodated my desire for a goat cheese grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato (not officially on the menu). I'm used to using hard cheese for mine at home but they gave it their all and it hit the spot. $3 for GF bread is over the top though. I've never paid more than $2 even in major cities.

With a gluten free waffle (studded with bacon!), it's my favorite place hands down for breakfast/brunch. Really any meal is good there! Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. you can ask them where you food was grown/raised, and they actually know! A lot of their food is grown/raised on a farm 60 miles away.
