Amazing food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and so many options. Lots of the dishes are naturally GF and others, even those not marked, can be modified to be so. Dedicated fryer too! All around incredible.

I had a fantastic experience at Andina! All gf items were clearly marked on the menu (and there were a lot of options). The staff was very knowledgeable and reiterated that everything was gf as it came to the table. There are two fryers, one that is dedicated gf. The food was delicious and unique, this restaurant is perfect for a special occasion!

This restaurant is very well versed in the importance a strict GF diet for celiacs. They have 1 dedicated GF fryer. Everything was delicious. We had the yuca frita as an appetizer, we shared the arroz con mariscos (like a Peruvian paella)- perfect for 2 people and they kept the calamari separate as it was not GF, but everything else was GF. Had the lèche asada for dessert - very good, especially if you like caramelized banana. Pricy but worth it! It’s a great place for a date night. Go early (like 5pm) if you don’t have a reservation.

Very classy and delicious restaurant. Mostly gluten free, and while I prefer dedicated facilities I have had good experiences here so far. Either the bar or dining area is definitely date night. Menu is Peruvian based with some novel influences. Good selection of vegan or vegetarian dishes also. My favorite is the Tacu Tacu. Very good service as well.

One of our favorite restaurants in town! High end and expensive, but perfect for a date night. Most of their food is GF-friendly, and staff are knowledgeable; they even have delicious GF desserts that don’t taste GF! Definitely recommend!

Nice 5 star dining experience. Not cheap but worth it just know what you’re in for. We go here for special occasions and it never disappoints. They are very careful with cc and I’ve eaten here many times with no reaction. Food is very good. Definitely need reservations.

Huge, beautifully decorated, and lively restaurant. It seems to be the place to go in the neighborhood. They have a ton of awards displayed in their lobby. You most certainly need to make reservations. They have a vegetarian & vegan menu and also a GF menu. Good for us, many items overlapped. The food was delicious and the service was stellar. We were told they have a separate/dedicated GF fryer, so we happily ordered the "TRIO DE PAPAS Y SALSAS PERUANAS" ... yum. It's an open kitchen and based on what I saw, I cannot say it is always 100% safe, but we were fine. If your vegetarian or vegan, you must order the "HONGOS SALTADOS".... soooo good!!

The food is amazing. I've eaten there once with no problems. I went back recently and definitely got glutened even though I ordered off the gluten free menu. I suspect the problem may have been the dessert (which wasn't on the gf menu but the waiter told me was gf). I will go back and try again because it was so good & I had no problems on my first trip. If you're celiac (like I am) I definitely recommend making the waiter double check his information.

Be careful. I called yesterday and was told they DO prepare GF and non-GF foods in same area. This needs to be cleared up with their personnel so the public gets an accurate answer. They have great food, but 2 stars for this potentially disastrous error.

This place is gf heaven. Separate menus, separate prep areas, knowledgeable staff... And fantastic food!!

I love this restaurant, but I will say they are SO snooty about reservations. I mean really, do you want my business or not?? I agree with the other reviewer, they are getting too pretentious for /real/ Portland

Wait staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating for me and my family, which is probably the most complicated diner crew one could have. I have celiac, my mom can't do gluten or dairy and a few other things. They rocked it! The food was great!

Wonderful restaurant. One of the best dinners I've had in a long time. Extensive gluten free menu. The food was very prompt even on a busy Saturday night (where the wait was at least and hour for a table, I would strongly suggest a reservation). Their cocktails were very good. Then to top it all off they had an impressive gluten free dessert menu. Highly recommend for a date night or a special occasion.

Amazing Peruvian food with a nice size gluten free menu. This is an upscale restaurant, with friendly and formal staff. Don't mistake this for the staff being pretentious. It is pricy, but worth it. Tapas are generally served "family style" and are meant to be shared. Bring a group, order family style, and explore all the tastes Andina has to offer.

Amazing attention to detail for celiac. The gluten free menu was large and I felt very taken care of. At one point the waiter thought the wrong sauce was on my item and whisked it away to make certain it was safe. Delicious!
