A person with Celiac should probably stick to the fries...as far as I know the friers are gluten free and only fries are put in them. As for the hamburgers, they are indeed delicious enough to be tempting but the safety and possibility of cross-contamination is highly varied across location and depends on the personality and training of the specific worker that day who helps you. Also I don't go to any of the locations at all anymore because of an extremely unpleasant run-in I had with Massar, the manager of the meridian store and the owner's brother. Ladies beware of that guy.

They asked if it was a preference or allergy for gluten and I always appreciate when restaurants ask. I got a vegan (black bean & quinoa) burger with the best gluten free bun I've ever had! It wasn't crumbley or dry like every other GF bread. The burger was delicious and the yam fries were yummy. We love trying all the different flavors of fry sauce (which had labels of ones that are gluten free and/or vegan, which is most of them). I got a peach mojito and it paired perfectly. I haven't been here since high school so it was nice to come back and have everything taste just as good as the last time!

When I told the guy taking my order that I wanted a GF bun, he immediately asked if they should change their gloves. The gluten free buns were DELICIOUS! Best gluten free burger I’ve ever had

The gluten free options are great. However, customer service overall is so crappy and across multiple locations. Must be a training issue.

The staff is super friendly and helpful! All employees we talked to were understanding about necessary precautions. The fries are amazing and they don’t fry anything else so it’s safe. I would recommend staying away from the flavored salts though!

Yum- definitely the best fries!! 10/10 would recommend
I don't think I'll go back to this location again. They cook the burgers with regular hamburger buns on the grill. They use the same spatula. And they don't care. I talked to the manager, who would not do anything differently. I got a belly ache.
I thought the fries were limp and greasy. The burger was dry. And, once again, I got a belly ache.
The Boise Fry Company locations used to be careful in the past. But now I notice the staff lack knowledge of cross contamination and quite frankly act like they don't care.
They go through the elaborate motion of asking whether they really need to be careful, but don't follow through with actually doing so. They change gloves but put the burger bun on same surface as other buns, etc. They now put all buns on the grill instead of using a toaster for the regular buns (they used to only allow gluten free buns on the grill). They also use the same spatula for all buns.
I just think they need to educate their employees better. I'd say be careful. I think it varies by staff member.
No
Not Celiac safe. The hush puppies are fried in the same frier as French fries. Kinda defeats the point as it is a "fry" company ;) Also, they make no precautions to prepare gf food separately. I tried to order a couple times. Both times the staff were not trained on safe gf procedures and gave conflicting information.
Best burgers and fries in town! Gluten free buns and only fries in the fryer so they are celiac safe. I've never had a problem here.
Great fries, but the hamburgers are cooked on the same surface as regular burger buns. And they are not forthcoming with this information. When I first asked they assured me that the GF buns are cooked on a separate surface. But it’s the burger patties that are glutened, unfortunately.
The last time the guy cooked my grilled cheese (made on an inside out GF hamburger bun) on a piece of foil. We went tonight through and they didn’t offer to do that (or anything besides change gloves). We just decided to stick with Red Robin so we left.
They used to have a separate bun toaster years & years ago, but decided to just warm the buns on the grill. Too bad.

They have gluten free buns and lots of sauces to add and everything is clearly marked. It was great for a quick bite to eat on our way to Home Depot.

A person with Celiac should probably stick to the fries bc as far as I know the frier is completely gluten free. As for the burgers, I have eaten there quite a few times with mixed results. Some locations used to have a dedicated gluten-free grill but don't anymore. They sometimes can accommodate by putting aluminum foil down but not always. I also don't eat there at all anymore because of an unpleasant run-in I had with the brother of the owner (he manages the restaurant in Meridian I believe)... Ladies steer clear of that guy for sure.

I was excited to try this place, but the burgers and buns are cooked on the same flat top. The cashier said that they place the burgers in a specific spot, but I am very sensitive to cross contamination so I did not end up eating here.
If you are not sensitive to cross contamination, it could be ok, but I am disappointed that it was not a dedicated prep space.

No problems with getting sick, I got a burger bowl and the duck fat fries. Love all the sauces and that they’re marked. I told the cashier that I had a gluten allergy and asked what the protocol was and she said they clean the grill and change gloves, this is a favorite of mine!
