I was excited to try this place, but the burgers and buns are cooked on the same flat top. The cashier said that they place the burgers in a specific spot, but I am very sensitive to cross contamination so I did not end up eating here.
If you are not sensitive to cross contamination, it could be ok, but I am disappointed that it was not a dedicated prep space.

No problems with getting sick, I got a burger bowl and the duck fat fries. Love all the sauces and that they’re marked. I told the cashier that I had a gluten allergy and asked what the protocol was and she said they clean the grill and change gloves, this is a favorite of mine!

MJ at the counter was very knowledgeable and super helpful about how their food was prepared. I ordered a classic burger and purple fries with out sauce (I put my own sauce from the dispensers on it when I got my order) The buger was excellent and gluten free bun was the best I’ve tasted! Everything was delicious, I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Very good, would definitely recommend. All sauces GF, and had a gluten free bun that was tastier than it looked. Make sure to ask for cheese if wanting it, otherwise almost all items were marked GF, including their fries!

Overall very aware of celiac and take precautions. But always be clear they need to take extra care and get new veggies. Burger can be hit or miss with temp BUT fries amazing! Definitely get jalapeño ranch dip!

The only things that go in their fryers are fries & brussel sprouts and all sauces were said to be gluten free. To be on the safe side, I just stuck with one that wasn’t likely to have gluten-containing ingredients (roasted jalapeño ranch). So far no gluten reactions!

GF bun available, but I ordered a burger w/o bun and fries. Have heard they have a dedicated fryer, but was unable to confirm this over the phone to my satisfaction. Limited menu means only potatoes or Brussels sprouts go into fryer

The staff is kind and very knowledgeable in safe food preparation for people with Celiac Disease at all Boise locations. The fryers are only used for fries! Gluten-free buns and sauces. Love this place when I feel like a good burger and fries!

My husband, toddler and myself all ate here for lunch. All of us have Gluten allergies. Ordered the Bison Burger x2 on GF buns, 1 done Original style and the other with The Heat, both wish purple frys and our toddler got an order of curly Gold frys.
We love this place!!! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fun and the staff was not only knowledgeable about GF options and cross contamination but they were also SUPER friendly and upbeat.
The GF buns were not just good for being GF, they were just good in general. Didnt taste like GF buns. The burgers and frys were all amazing.
All their sauces were gluten free and I loved all the sauce options. Tons to choose from.
Will be back FOR SURE!! Great choice!

This place was amazing. I love how the fryers are dedicated for only potatoes, the ketchup selections were all labeled gluten free, they have a gluten free bun for burgers, and they even offer a gluten free beer. Thanks Boise Fry Co for being so friendly to the celiac community.

Best fries and pretty good burger too! I have never been sick here.

This place is great; the buns are gluten free, But not dairy free. They have dedicated fryers and a variety of potato types; I had the purple potatoes and they were delicious. They taste just as good as regular potatoes but they are anti-inflammatory and packed with antioxidants.
The staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination we got gf buns. All the many types of fries and Brussels sprouts are cooked in a fryer with NO gluten. The sauces to dip them in were clearly labeled gf.

Tasty! very detailed in their process to eliminate cross contamination. fries, burgers, and sauces are delicious and worth a go.
Fabulous!!! It has been so long since I've had a cheeseburger and fries. I had the Laura potatoes and would recommend. I followed the suggestion and ordered the Brussel Sprouts and was not disappointed. The sauce to dip them in was out of this world. I will make this a must on my next trip to Boise.
Get the Brussels sprouts, you will thank me! Staff very aware of gluten free. Wonderful burgers, great fries, amazing Brussels sprouts.

Great and knowledgeable staff. They know to ask if you have an allergy when you request gluten free and change out their gloves to avoid cross contamination. They have gluten free buns, gluten free beer, and a dedicated fryer for the fries. Definitely recommend.
Yes
Great fries, but the hamburgers are cooked on the same surface as regular burger buns. And they are not forthcoming with this information. When I first asked they assured me that the GF buns are cooked on a separate surface. But it’s the burger patties that are glutened, unfortunately.
The last time the guy cooked my grilled cheese (made on an inside out GF hamburger bun) on a piece of foil. We went tonight through and they didn’t offer to do that (or anything besides change gloves). We just decided to stick with Red Robin so we left.
They used to have a separate bun toaster years & years ago, but decided to just warm the buns on the grill. Too bad.

A person with Celiac should probably stick to the fries...as far as I know the friers are gluten free and only fries are put in them. As for the hamburgers, they are indeed delicious enough to be tempting but the safety and possibility of cross-contamination is highly varied across location and depends on the personality and training of the specific worker that day who helps you. Also I don't go to any of the locations at all anymore because of an extremely unpleasant run-in I had with Massar, the manager of the meridian store and the owner's brother. Ladies beware of that guy.

A person with Celiac should probably stick to the fries bc as far as I know the frier is completely gluten free. As for the burgers, I have eaten there quite a few times with mixed results. Some locations used to have a dedicated gluten-free grill but don't anymore. They sometimes can accommodate by putting aluminum foil down but not always. I also don't eat there at all anymore because of an unpleasant run-in I had with the brother of the owner (he manages the restaurant in Meridian I believe)... Ladies steer clear of that guy for sure.

They asked if it was a preference or allergy for gluten and I always appreciate when restaurants ask. I got a vegan (black bean & quinoa) burger with the best gluten free bun I've ever had! It wasn't crumbley or dry like every other GF bread. The burger was delicious and the yam fries were yummy. We love trying all the different flavors of fry sauce (which had labels of ones that are gluten free and/or vegan, which is most of them). I got a peach mojito and it paired perfectly. I haven't been here since high school so it was nice to come back and have everything taste just as good as the last time!
