Ordered the GF cashew shrimp and GF shrimp and lobster sauce with no reaction at all. Only place I trust. Items were not marked on the menu but I heard the owner has gluten issues and is knowledgeable….staff was super knowledgeable stating most of the appetizers could not be made gluten-free but almost everything else on the menu could other than lo mein, etc..

Always a great experience. Amazing food and good service anytime we eat in. Have eaten here several times and never gotten sick or had any complaints at all about the food quality. If you're in the mood for Chinese and have Celiac, this is the place if you want to avoid the chains that have been heading downhill lately.

My partner has Celiac and we decided to give Budai a try. We called ahead of time to ask ahout cross contamination and gluten free options. We were told that they keep everything separate, and that most of the menu can be made gluten free except for the sweet and sour items, lo-mein noodles, and the choice of appetizers are very limited.
My partner hasn't had authentic Chinese food/takeout since they were diagnosed with Celiac 9 years ago. They literally cried because it was such nostalgic flavor but without any of the issues or reactions! We had the Kung Pao Duck, Mongolian Chicken, Cashew Chicken, and the Peking Pork and all of them were AMAZING! My favorite was the Mongolian chicken (mostly because I am a huge spicy fan), and my partner's favorite was the Peking Pork.
We 100% plan to come back and try many more options there next time!

This place is the best place I have ever ate . Got the seasome chicken as per reviews and the friend rice. No reaction and would give my left kidney for this food
AMAZING. The sesame chicken is breaded with sweet potato starch. They can make most of the menu gluten free with attention to safety. I will be back here very often. What a treat.

Excellent GF options and great service!
I eat here often and never leave even slightly sick. The owners are wonderful. Everything can be gf except the sweet and sour. Everything I've tried has been amazing. Love the cashew chicken, the sesame chicken, pork fried rice. The pecan shrimp tastes like a dessert. Cannot say enough how much I love this place! It's our go to place now.

They can make any dish gf. Great food, great service and the best tasting Chinese food.

The owner seemed knowledgeable about how to make most of the dishes gluten free. However, I definitely got gluten contamination at this restaurant and unfortunately have been been sick for the past two days since my meal.

Very knowledgeable staff. I have celiac and felt safe and didn't get poisoned. Plus my dinner was super yummy! I will take my celiac daughter there.

VERY pleasantly surprised! I was in the area for a seminar and it was the only place close enough to the venue that I could get to fast enough... They were VERY knowledgable and advised me that they could make nearly any item gfree-- including their fried items! They use a sweet potato starch and fry it in a pan instead of the deep fryer. I had the Sa Cha Rice Cake and it was phenomenal! The egg drop soup wasn't good... At all, but considering how much I enjoyed a dish I wouldn't have otherwise been able to eat, that is besides the point. ;) So excited to come back to try some of their other items.
