Super reliable, super safe and gf fryer. Tons of options and super knowledgeable staff. I’ve eaten here many times and never have to worry about getting glutened.

I have been to many different Burtons locations, this Shrewsbury location was the worst experience ever! Didn’t use the standard red gf plate, had no idea if the fryer was contaminated. I subbed mashed potatoes with Brussels sprouts, I got 3 dry sprouts, chicken was dry. I was billed for sweet potato fries even though I did not get them (they were unable to figure out if the fryer was safe). Based on all my other 5 star Burton diners, this Shrewsbury location should not be allowed to call themselves Burtons!

Burton’s is my absolute favorite place! Besides being extremely safe (specially trained GF staff, cross contamination protocols, special squared places to denote GF) they are extremely delicious and have so, so many options I can’t get anywhere else. 100% recommend!

The wait staff was very knowledgeable about celiac. The gluten free menu was just as big as the normal menu. Had a burger and it was great

Separate GF menu with delicious fare, fresh fish, risotto, steak, chicken, black bean burgers, regular burgers, salads, quinoa and veggie dishes. GF CHOCOLATE CAKE AND FLAN for desserts... the CEO of this company has celiac and I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!! So much love for this place which also, btw, strives to have autism friendly dining experiences for families with autism. It’s SO NICE to not have to be that asshole with the gluten issue and be communicated with clearly and respectfully. My flan was so good that I asked the waiter to double check that it had no flour. He got eye level with me and said he was certain it is GF and will get the chef to come talk to me if I wanted. That was enough reassurance for me. Didn’t get sick of course, but Wow... they were totally ready for my worry and able to do anything to make me feel safe. And FULL. :-)

Burtons is one of those places where you can go eat and never worry. Dining like before you had Celiac disease. I have been here countless times and the food is fantastic, you have separate menus and the peace of mind is priceless. Burger buns are so so but the wings and fries are out of this world.

Burton’s offers excellent food & service. As their owner has celiac, almost all menu items can be made GF and easily DF as well. They have GF/DF bread, Udi’s buns, penne & sometimes spaghetti, as well as a dedicated GF fryer. If you haven’t been, I would highly recommend!

Love this place. Dedication kitchen space and fryer. Love to come sit at the bar and order food while we watch whatever game is on. Staff is really friendly and I always feel well taken care of by them. So used to going out to eat and feeling super nervous and timid about ordering but they make you feel right at home here.

From the second you arrive you are in gluten safe zone. They ask if you want gluten free menu. When you go to order they ask if there are allergies and explain they are an allergy safe restaurant. When you say celiac and order they say your order will be on square plate and delivered by a manager to know your food is safe. And the food is yummy! Cauliflower and zuchinini appetizers are so yummy. Fryers are all gf can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic experience- perfect for gluten free/allergy friendly dining without feeling awkward/uncomfortable- perfect for business meals or dating- the new Burton's in Shrewsbury knocks it out of the park with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Variety of menu options with a from scratch kitchen that can handle almost any request- they also have a dedicated gluten free fryer so sweet potato fries are a tasty and safe option!!!

I am always scared to try new places but I would go back everyday if I could!! I had the delicious maple chicken sandwich and it was amazing!! The fries were also to die for. I did not get sick and get sick so easily!

Great place!! The first thing the server asks is if there is anyone with any dietary restrictions. Very knowledgeable. I have eaten there twice already and no problems. The restaurant is new in my area and will definitely go back again.

Shortly after you walk in the front door, they introduce themselves as specializing in food allergies, and support that statement throughout the meal. Fabulous selections cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. DEDICATED FRYOLATOR FOR FRENCH FRIES! We have eaten there several times with no issues. Recommend it highly.

Different than other Burton's, they do not have GF foccia bread. :( Everything else was the same as other Burton's!

Burton's Grill really knows how to do gluten free safe for celiacs. I've eaten at another location multiple times never having a problem. The food and service at the Shrewsbury location were excellent. They lost a star because they have chosen to not offer complementary bread with herb butter at new locations. Although I was so excited that there was going to be a location closer to my home, the lack of their delicious bread will keep me from returning.

We've eaten at other Burton's locations before and we're so happy to have one relatively nearby. The Shrewsbury Burton's is as safe and delicious as their other locations. The hostess asks if you need a gluten free menu and the server asks if anyone at the table has any allergies or dietary restrictions. The manager brings out the GF food and it's served on square plates. When the manager brought our food he said, "No cross contact." 😁 I feel as safe as I can eating out when I eat at Burton's. Burton's is a scratch kitchen, so the food is especially tasty. The rosemary parmesan fries are delicious! Very much celiac safe!

If you have an allergy of any sort I highly recommend them! Several Gluten Free options From your normal salad options to crab cakes!!! Very allergen conscious from wait staff to kitchen, kitchen is open so you can hear them discuss their allergy protocols. Very impressed!

This place was amazing. They have gf menu but my husband had regular menu and they were almost identical. My husband had the gf fried haddock sandwich and I had crab crusted haddock with Mac and cheese. Everything tasted great. Lots of appetizers, main menu food and a chocolate cake that I got to go because I was to full but looks wonderful.

I am blown away by my experience here! The hostess asked if anyone needed a GF menu before we were even seated. There was a blurb on the menu about how seriously they take accommodating dietary restrictions. My food was delivered to the table separately by gloved hand with confirmation that it was gluten free. Celiac can be so isolating sometimes, especially in restaurants, but Burtons gave me a sense of normalcy and inclusivity. Great job Burtons!

I've eaten here several times and have never gotten sick. They are knowledgeable and always happy to accommodate my diet. The gluten-free menu is extensive. I love their burgers and how their buns don't get mushy or fall apart like so many others do. This is the only restaurant I've ever been to that offers a gluten-free bread service (although it is an extra cost) - the focaccia is delicious. Usually I don't have room for dessert, but I did try the cheesecake one time and it was amazing, creamy and decadent. I wish I lived in town so I could go here all the time.

Burtons has a dedicated GF menu with lots of choices. My son ordered the burger and fries and he said it was delicious, especially the bun. Also, the server brought his food out first, then our food was brought out separately. Service was great. We will be back.
