I've had good experiences at this Erik's. When you let them know your order needs to be treated as an allergy they're good about taking precautions. The gluten-free bread isn't my favorite and it's a little crumbly, but it does the trick.

Don't bother unless you either print out or memorize their gluten-free menu posted on their website. I didn't have enough signal to pull it up at the restaurant, and none of the three employees knew anything about a gf menu. They said, "We only have bread."
Only marked menu item is whole grain gluten free bread. Not sure about the cold cuts. Definitely issues of cross contamination. Sandwiches were good but small.

It's been a long time since I have been able to have a Reuben sandwich at a deli that was on gf bread. It was very good.
Had a sandwich. Is was yummy.
If you're gluten free this is the place to be! All sandwiches on the menu can be made gluten free (if you have Celiac they even have a separate work station and change gloves) and there are also several other delicious options. Taste is not sacrificed and the food is absolutely amazing as well as the customer service. If I lived in the area this would be my regular for sure, love the place.

the staff were really friendly and very gracefully handled our group of seven hungry runners fresh from ragnar relay. I love the pickle mascot and was given a pin with the pickle mascot. also, the pickles are excellent. my friend who needed the gluten free meal enjoyed her sandwich and soup. Will keep this place in mind for next year's ragnar. please open locations in los Angeles
I gave four stars because it could only get better! So thankful to find food that is tasty and healthy while in a new town. Bread is great, service was fast, they even had gluten free cookies!

Amazing! Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Stuffed myself in a turkey sandwich and squash soup. Purchased an Oatmeal and chocolate cookie for later.
Staff was able to quickly print off a list of all of their gf ingredients from their cash register for me to look at (didn't include beverages, but I looked up the Nantucket Nectars brand they carry and it is gf). The Udi's multigrain bread they use is fresh, soft, and larger than the Udi's bread you can buy in grocery stores. The staff told me that the larger loaf is made specifically for restaurants. Great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for gf soups and sandwiches (salads too, I think).

They have dedicated counter space for preparing delicious gf sandwiches. During both of my visits, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Sandwiches and potato salad - yum!
Amazing. Gluten Free sandwiches and all are terrific. Staff is very caring and is careful to change gloves, cutting boards, etc.
Fresh gluten free bread upon request at no extra charge! It was delicious!
Good, fresh, quick sandwiches with GF bread option (and for no extra charge!)
Very careful preparation of my sandwich on GF bread always! I’ve eaten at Eric’s Deli all over the Bay Area, because it is such a dependable, safe and delicious choice. Staff are well trained and very friendly.

Great gluten free bread and staff paid close attention to the details!

I am super sensitive and have been only ordering salads or soups in fear that the sandwiches are not safe. I ordered one today and feel great! I watched the prep, and they changed gloves and don’t really touch the food directly. I feel safe ordering again. Update 9/5/23: I have become a regular here and love the sandwiches!!

They have absolutely no idea what gluten free means. I asked which sandwiches we're gluten free, and no matter how many different times I asked the answer was "this bread is gluten free". I asked if the pesto on a sandwich was gluten free, "I don't know but the bread is gluten free so it's gluten free". DO NOT EAT HERE. It's sad because the one in downtown San Jose is good.
