They’re always great, they happily change their gloves when I mention I have an allergy! No bun necessary— way too much food as it is!

We eat here about once a week or so. I work long hours and when I get off work on Sunday I never feel like cooking. We have a few places in rotation and this is one of them. I always get a burger without a bun and fries. I've never gotten sick eating here and we go pretty frequently. They place my burger in a little aluminum pan and I just eat it with a fork and knife. I used to bring my own gluten free bun, but I stopped doing that just because the food is already so much and so filling that I really don't need the bun.
Really gone down hill recently. And this from a guy who first loved Five Guys in Charlottesville. Meat quality has declined. Fries weren't even good last time I went. The fries were cool, limp, short and had blemishes. We had to ask for aluminum pans in which to cut our burgers. They don't do wraps any more. It's more like a burger salad. I love their Coke machine, but not enough to compensate for everything else.
Order taker asks about allergy and informs cook staff. I like that I can see them following the protocols (change gloves, clean grill, etc). Dedicated french-fry fryer. Good food.

Refused to even serve me they said they can’t prevent any cross contamination even though the only gluten containing item in this location is the buns. Wouldn’t change gloves or utensils or anything just told me no.

April 26, 2014. These guys handle the 'Allergy burger' very well. Ask for it by that name, they'll know how to treat your food prep. They have a dedicated frier and make a mean lettuce wrapped burger. I always order extra lettuce and they don't fall apart. I never have an issue with cross-contamination at this chain.

They were so careful when preparing my burger and french fries. They do not have gluten free buns. The fries are safe to eat. I order a burger without a bun and bring in my own bun.

Ordered burger with no bun. Guy was helpful in answering questions. They hard a list of ingredients for different sauces. And marked it was for allergy on the order.
