My go to place for a good lunch or dinner. In my experience they have been super cautious with gluten free and even have a dedicated fryer. They have gluten free alternatives to almost everything on the menu.

We were disappointed. After reading these great reviews, we went here. When asking our waitstaff, who checked with kitchen/manager, they said bread is pressed on the grill, so could have cross contamination for steak and other grilled items. She said salad was safest. While it was good, we were looking forward to the burger.

Great experience for brunch. There is a separate fryer for non gluten, as well as gluten free bagels and bread. The waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. The food was fantastic, highly recommended for those with celiac.

I am in Boston on vacation and decided to give this place a try based on all the reviews and am sorry I did.

The waitress was kind and helpful. She let me know that she alerted the head chef who customized my frittata breakfast to ensure it would be safe. The manager was also alerted of my presence.

Towards the end of my meal, I found a gluten pasta shell mixed into my eggs. The entire meal was made and served in its own cast iron skillet. No one could explain where the noodle came from.

The manager was very apologetic (she even offered to call an ambulance) and I left with a free meal, a gift card for future use, and all the horrific symptoms that come with gluten consumption.

It's not worth another try in my opinion. Eat at your own risk

I am visiting Boston and was a little nervous about finding places to eat, but came across this place and had a great experience! There were many GF options here including buns, pasta, chips and fries in a dedicated gf frier! They weren’t all clearly written on the menu but talk to the wait staff and they will help you! My waitress was very knowledgeable and made sure to double check everything with the chef before serving it to me. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great too!

Many GF options; not all denoted on the menu. There is gluten free pasta, bread, and buns. Some sandwiches (like the Reuben or mushroom Lucy) cannot be made GF as the corned beef is cured in beer and mushroom is fried. There is a deviated fryer for GF fries and tortilla chips. Servers overall are knowledgeable, but you can always ask them to check the kitchen.

Not a great experience but I didn’t get sick. Besides being incredibly loud and service mediocre, there were a few GF options but not many. Server had to keep going back to ask what was GF. Menu itself lists few options although they actually can modify a number of items. Personally I’d choose somewhere else next time, however if you go here and need a GF meal you should have a few options and be relatively safe.

I was a little nervous when ordering. I had informed the waiter I had Celiac and was very serious about cross contamination. After placing my order I was asked if I would like bread for the table to which I declined. This is what made me a little nervous cause I just told them I was 100% gluten free and then they asked about the bread. Could have been force of habit so I ignored it. BUT! I ordered the burger with a gluten free bun and gluten free fries with no issues and it was pretty good! I asked about their Mac and cheese and they weren’t sure if they could make it GF so I moved on from that. When brining the food over they sent a separate runner as well which I always appreciate!

They were able to accommodate GF DF. The manager brought out my food. I had tuna tartar without the soy or crisps, and the prime rib with green beans -no whipped potatoes. It was very good and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our server was hands down the most accommodating person we ever could have had. He went above and beyond to make sure there was no cross contamination. My group went for brunch and I had the veggie omelette which was very good. They serve bread for the table, and our server asked the kitchen to make a GF loaf just for me. Highly recommend!

The menu was incorrect with what was GF, though. It looks like there isn’t much you can eat, but if you ask a server, they can make almost anything GF. They really should update the menu, but the servers were kind and accommodating about me having Celiac!

They had an amazing and nice staff team that fully understood all gf protocol, and made sure everything I ate was safe for me. When bringing out bread they have me a gluten free burger bun toasted instead, which was amazing of them. All of there food was properly marked with gf symbols to inform the customer. This place was amazing. We don't eat out a lot but we visited Boston and crossed our fingers that the good reviews were accurate. They are! Dedicated fryer for fries which were delicious. They have the best, lightest gf burger bun I've ever had.  They used the burger bun as the pre dinner bread for us gf people and it was so good you didn't feel like you were chomping into a burger bun. My daughter was beside herself happy about the delicious experience. Absolutely go there!

It had been years since I’ve eaten here, but positive reviews on this site prompted me to try it when I was in Boston recently with my young celiac daughter.

The wait staff was surprisingly knowledgeable and accommodating. Their online menu is misleading as there are many more options available than the menu implies. For example, the buffalo chicken dip is GF if served without the bread bowl. My daughter had the ribs and thought there were great. They aren’t smoked (baked is my guess), but I had to agree they were pretty good. Even the GF roll was tasty.

I will definitely come back the next time we are in town.

I’m so impressed with this place! I had the lobster Mac and cheese. Our server was very knowledgeable about cross-contamination and was reassuring about kitchen procedures.

Ordered the quinoa salad and creme brûlée, both of which I was assured were GF. Ended up in horrible stomach pain within 30 minutes, and was sick for a day. I don’t know what it was that caused it (the salad or the dessert), but I was definitely glutened. I don’t recommend.

Let me start off by saying the food was great! There were many GF options, but I think the staff may need a little more training in what constitutes GF. I ordered a side salad and unfortunately it came with croutons (of course you’re able to “just pick them off”, but it’s definitely not reassuring in what is actually happening in the kitchen!) That being said, it was a great atmosphere and good food, so I’ll give them another try some day!

The baby back ribs were my favorite in Boston before getting diagnosed and I’m so happy that I can still them as they are gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer so you can eat fries and they can bring you a gluten free roll if you ask for one. I’ve been here multiple times and haven’t gotten sick.

I went here for a function and I was blown away. They are super accommodating. We were approached by a waiter who showed us our Gf/dairy free options. And get this..we were served first! At many restaurant I am typically served last and sometimes waiting 10 minutes after everyone has received their food until receiving mine. Not here! Food was great! I got the chicken club with fries. Felt fine afterwards. They also have a crem brouille for dessert. (not dairy free) It was great!

(Updating review for April 2019: seems like a few things they can do gf like Mac n cheese, onion soup etc they removed from the menu but they can do a lot of things GF still. Worth talking to your server when you sit down. They still advertise burgers, nachos, steak but you may have to ask for some of the other options).

I ate there in March (2019) and they said they had prepared everything separately and gluten free, but I got sick afterwards. I’m still new to this so I don’t really know for surewhy I got sick but it seems likely there was some gluten contamination. I see other people posted similar reviews and I hope they will figure out the issue and improve, since they seem to care about offering gluten free options.

I'm not the best indicator of gluten compromise because I'm newly diagnosed and still figuring out how I react. I can tell you that I didn't have any tummy discomfort, but I did have diarrhea the next day. Can't tell you for sure if that was connected to dinner. We were not offered gf bread like others have mentioned. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and willing to accommodate; she went back to the kitchen to ask the chef if the pecans or dressing on my salad were definitely gf. Tasty food and good options.

WARNING! I had the same experience as the person below me- 24 hours after them. They came to the table with a chef and handed me the food and explained it had been prepared separately. I was ill immediately after. I believe there had to be someone new in the kitchen who was unaware of cross contamination.

Not suitable for celiac people. The service was really nice and they told us that they could make any dishes without gluten (gluten free) and I really enjoyed the meal. But almost immediately after eating there, I've got really sick (probably because some crossed contamination).

My overall experience here was not great. The waitress initially told us that there were no gluten free items, and then asked the kitchen and came back to correct. She said the tortilla chips were gluten free but later said that the gluten-free dedicated fryer is only used for the french fries so there was cross-contamination there. She also explained that “gluten free pasta is a hard ask for a restaurant” even though many reviews here showed gf mac and cheese and other dishes. The food tasted good and the atmosphere is super nice. I did not get sick, but I did not feel well afterwards.

Had an amazing experience with phenomenal food. The staff was knowledgeable and took great care to ensure our food was safe. They even require that the manager bring out the gluten free food to further reduce the chance of cross-contamination. Dedicated fryer for their fries. Our server Rahshan, who only works Friday because he works for the museum the rest of the week, was beyond great and took really good care of us and was fun to talk to. If you’re in the area on a Friday, I highly recommend requesting him.
