Super casual but cute spot. We tried for the first time with our family tonight and everyone enjoyed (both kids and adults). Husband greatly enjoyed GF pizza and wants to return. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier or sweeter!

We were told they use a dedicated mixer and preparation area for their gluten-free items. We ordered a pizza. All their pizzas are 13" and they make their own gluten-free dough. The crust was light and airy with a slight crunch to it and evenly baked all the way through- a big improvement over the 10" disc!The staff was friendly and upbeat.

I can’t get enough of their GF Pizzas their recipe is the BEST I’ve ever tasted. It’s like you are in Italy. I’m not lying. Run no sprint there.

Pizza tasted great and the restaurant was very transparent with how the GF pizza was made. I even asked if they used wheat starch and they sent me a picture of the GF flour they use, which is Caputo Fioreglut gluten free flour. This is labeled as GF and I read tested as under 4 ppm.

Hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve had. This family owned and operated business has it dialed in! They make their dough and cheese in house. And it’s amazing! I’m so sensitive to cross contamination and currently fighting colon cancer from celiac disease and I did not get sick! Kim, the wife, mother of this team was so hospitable and friendly. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Any time we are in the area we will be there! Thanks to the other reviews on here that it was indeed safe and worth trying. I’d pretty much given up on gluten free pizza.

I’m celiac living in Downers Grove and just went to Lantern Pizza Co. on Ogden and had the best CELIAC-SAFE pizza of my life. I haven’t eaten restaurant pizza in years bc of cross-contamination, and I was almost in tears when I heard about their ultra-safe prep process. And bonus: they serve wine 🍷😆 Please please please support this wonderful restaurant. The owners are lovely and I will probably be here every weekend lol 🩷🩷🩷

I live near here and was happy to find a GF pizza restaurant. We ordered a GF crust onion and mushroom pizza, essentially the $15 basic mozzarella pizza with two $1 toppings. The crust came out white in color, but was crispy and chewy. The pizza was very low on sauce and there were a few mushrooms and onions scattered about. Overall it was underwhelming. I could almost describe it as a focaccia bread with some light toppings. I think this basic pizza would be fine for kids, but if you are looking for a greater taste experience, plan on spending more on extras to enhance the flavor.

The staff was very attentive and friendly, one member even chasing me into the parking lot to thank me for coming, which I certainly will in search of more flavor.

I did not meet the owners, so I didn't get a detailed description of the safety they put into GF. Previous reviews were so good I was quite confident and didn't inquire.

Pizza is made in a separate oven with fresh ingredients in the back. The Chef/Owner and his wife were there and were so incredibly kind and attentive. Pizza has always been a worrisome Celiac adventure for me due to risk of cross-contamination, but I felt so comfortable here! Dough is very light and fluffy and EXCELLENT. Chef/owner asked me to call if I had an reaction at all (I did not!)

Stumbled across this adorable family owned pizza place. Dedicated gluten free prep area and oven. The owners (husband and wife) were extremely knowledgeable and gave me the run down on their safe practices before I ordered. This place was hands down the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. As soon as I mentioned gluten free crust, the lady at the register asked if I had celiac. She then informed me that they prepare everything in a separate area AND use another oven to cook the pizza. In addition, you had a question about the bacon and one of the employees went into the back to take picture of the ingredients (It was gf). Once we got the pizza, it was absolutely delicious!! It was a normal crust pizza, not thin crust. It felt like I was able to eat regular pizza, but I still felt perfectly fine! All of the staff there was absolutely amazing as well! They checked in with us throughout our whole time there (even checked if we thought the pizza was good on the way out). I highly recommend this place to anyone!

I’ve been eating gluten free for 10 years now and this is the best GF pizza I’ve had in all of that time. The dough is aerated and actually stretches when you pull it apart (as opposed to crumbling like many other GF crusts). It has a very light and fluffy taste. They prepare it safely in the back with different equipment. So good!

This is a new wood oven pizza place in Downers Grove. I wrote to them to ask them about their gluten free process before going and here's what they said : "Gluten Free dough is made in house at a separate station from our other dough making station, in a different mixer that has been designated ‘gluten free only’. When a gluten free pizza is ordered it is prepared and baked in our back kitchen separately from our pizza making station and in a different oven – the gluten free pizza is also baked in an individual pan so that it does not touch the stone surface directly. We strive to be as cautious as possible to isolate the gluten free dough and the orders as they are prepared."

When I went in to dine the staff alerted that they had a gluten-free pizza order. And then they told me their process and they would take a little bit longer because they had to use a different oven. I felt very safe eating there and the pizza was the best gluten free pizza I have ever had.
