This place is INCREDIBLE!!! I’ve only had their deserts and bread but it’s worth the price!!! Felt good after. Want to come back and try the food which looks good too!

This is a 100% dedicated gluten free very nice casual bistro. The service from the moment you walk in is amazing. The decor adds to the dining experience.

Everything is baked from scratch and is organic, non-GMO, non-soy and gluten free. The foods are Mediterran based and rich with flavors!

We had the garlic cheese bread which is incredible! We also had the sausage flatbread which was so tasty and a tad of spice! The tomato and feta salad was outstanding.

Also had a perfect house berry muffin loaded with blueberries that was incredible. Tried the bread pudding too, it was good but I preferred the muffin.

We’ve eaten there twice in the past two weeks because it is THAT good!

I LOVE this venue! The food is delicious, fresh and no one would ever know it’s 100% GF due to the amazing flavors, textures and variety of dishes. Dany, the owner, is dedicated to creating a safe, exquisite and lovely dining experience. The spice crusted roasted 1/2 chicken dinner is divine! The braised short ribs, grass fed kibbeh, grilled octopus, and many desserts are lip smackin’ good!

The food was amazing and the flavors were robust. I had the manouche z’atar and the short ribs. Everything was gluten free and other allergens were well marked. The servers were knowledgeable. My one complaint was that it didn’t appear very busy when I arrived and our food took a pretty long time to arrive. But I didn’t mind so much because the ambiance was nice and the food that came was so delicious. I wish I lived closer!

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 100 STARS!! The first place I have truly found safe middle eastern food!! I am an Arab-American and almost died when I saw I could have a kafta sandwich again. AND GF KIBBE?! I ordered four entrees and only needed one box for leftovers by the end. It was that delicious lol. I didn’t get sick from anything! (Writing this review 48 hours after too, so def safe!) The waitstaff was amazing, and the owners were SOOOO kind. Going back every time I’m in LA!

I wanted to love this restaurant. The menu, food and pastries were spectacular. Sadly, I got glutened here and on our drive home, I started vomiting within the hour (always a sign of contamination) while none of my carmates, who ate the same dishes, got sick. I ate no food from orher sources in that time. We tried a lot of pastries and wonder if any ingredient used was manufactured in a facility that processes wheat. Such a disappointing expensive outing. For non-celiacs, my group loved the food but then perhaps go to a less expensive non specialty restaurant.

Fantastic! My spouse and I went here for brunch recently. I got the shakshuka with a baguette and my spouse got the pancakes. So fluffy and flavorful. The baguette was perfect for dipping in the tasty shakshuka. We will be back for some mezz. Went to their bakery next door and got a baklava tart, date cookie and an olive bread. So so tasty and I am so glad I can have these flavors again.

Incredible food, super knowledgeable and open to modifying for other food allergies or sensitivities. Being able to have an entire Mediterranean menu as free game because it’s all GF is a heaven send. And their GF flatbread and pita is all delicious. Had the octopus and flatbread and can’t wait to try more

I love this cafe. I’ve been twice - once for dinner and once for brunch. The entire menu is gluten free, with plenty of vegetarian, dairy-free, and egg free options. This time, I had the lamb kefta and a date cookie, and last time I had the fattouli (?) salad and the Mezze sampler. Thr food is fantastic, and Ibhad no symptoms 😊 Highly recommend!!!

The food is soooo good! Everything in the restaurant is gluten free. You can find cookies, cakes, and pancakes- all gluten free! They have hummus, pita bread, chicken, lamb, rice, flat breads…. The list goes on. We all ate happily and safely. We will be back next time we’re in the area.

Super safe all gf and so many options it was hard to pick! Flatbread was the highlight as it was fluffy and a great texture. Off the grill chicken kabobs we’re a close second! We got the pistachio rose cake but all the desserts looked amazing. Would love to go back if I’m in the area again

My daughter was just DX with celiac. I wanted to find a restaurant that had food and pastries. This was the winner! And they have grass fed meat?! Couldn’t be happier. Also, their bread rolls with cheese - delicious. We enjoyed our meal and will be returning.

You'll have tears of joy if you've been celiac long enough. An entirely gluten free restaurant. No oar flour either!! Totally safe!

We had the most fabulous meals here. 4 of us came in on a Thursday night and the food was so delicious and some of the best gluten free and dairy options! It was so good we came back a week later with 6 people and 3 of them don’t have to eat gluten free and were impressed as well. The desserts were outstanding! We ate the carrot cake (my favorite), my husband’s favorite, the chocolate cake and friends enjoyed the bread pudding.

This was seriously the best gf restaurant I’ve ever been to. I frequently visit LA and make it a point to go here. If you like cheese, their cheese bread is decadent. My favorite was the za’atar flatbread. They have a full restaurant menu and a bakery. The food was very fresh and lots of healthy menu items. Great for people with celiac and their friends/family. They also mark dairy free options and have some interesting menu options.

Levant is as great as everyone says. The feeling of being able to order anything on the menu with no questions or substitutions is sublime! The garlic bread was amazing. Pita, also amazing. It was fun to order a gluten free beer too! The desserts, if I’m being honest, were just ok, but I still appreciated every crumb.

One of the best carrot cakes I’ve had, didn’t taste GF at all, and then a full range of Lebanese food with no gluten or CC. What more could I ask? A very nice owner that accommodated me coming in 15 min before closing so that I could eat :)

My favorite restaurant AND my favorite dedicated gluten free restaurant. I come from a Lebanese family, and the food here is authentic and has given me the opportunity to have my favorite dishes that I lost the ability to eat. I live in the neighborhood and am so glad to add this place to the Bread Block, Honey Hi rotation. Stand-outs include Pita & Hummus, the Grass Fed Kibbeh, glutenberg beer, and desserts (they also run a completely GF bakery). If you happen to be on the Eastside definitely worth a visit!!

entirely gluten free! a dream for us celiacs. The flatbreads (Man’oush) are incredible. The Kashkaval (sheeps milk mozzarella style cheese) and za’atar man’oush was to die for. plenty of dairy free/egg free/vegetarian options. I felt good eating it, and since, my body has been very happy with the food. Really great atmosphere too. The restaurant is run by 3 siblings and is actually transplanted from Raleigh, NC! Lorenzo and Selene the waiters were so kind and warm as well. We’ll be regulars here for sure.

I LOVE levant. Huge menu with tons of options for anyone and lots of flavor. And a bakery next door with to die for cookies and bread. They also don’t use oats which is great if you’re sensitive to them (like I am) — they mainly use rice, potato starch and tapioca. Everyone who works there is lovely and will walk you thru the ingredients. Also beautiful outdoor patio, interesting huge drink menu (alc and lots of alc free), and great dining experience whether you’re GF or not.

Everything was 100% gluten free, but other ingredients were not well labeled. I have a garlic allergy, and garlic was listed on many items on the menu, I chose a salad with a side of chicken that seemed safe. The chicken was coated in garlic, I should have asked but just though it was odd other chicken dishes stated garlic and the one I got didn’t. I also has the baguette but it was on par with the frozen ones they sell at Whole Foods, unfortunately. They also brought my BF completely the wrong dish, he didn’t say anything cause he liked what they brought out too. Apparently they also have desserts, but there was no dessert menu. Very odd experience.
