Ate here twice - great food and great understanding of CC. Much of the menu is safe and prepared in a separate area in the kitchen. They take food allergies seriously. Speak to the people to find out about the chips - the employee explained that they are in a shared fryer with churros but if you order them early in the day and no churros have been cooked yet the oil will be clean and safe.

Knowledgeable and excellent staff, understood cross contamination. The food and drinks are amazing!! Handmade corn tortillas. Fresh squeezed juice in the drinks. Fun and good music. Looks like a dive from the road but is fantastic once inside. A little more expensive but worth it to have fresh, homemade food that is professionally prepared with attention to detail. Highly recommend for celiac!!

Have been twice. Both times I felt super sick 3 hours later which is my reaction time. It’s sad because they seem super knowledgeable and confident. I’m not sure if it’s maybe one of their sauces?

A small hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Amazing fresh squeezed margaritas, so many GF options, waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac. She explained that the chips are fried in the morning before the churros and they thoroughly clean the fryer every night. I ate the chips and had no issues. All 13 tacos are GF on corn tortillas as well as other options. Guac was delicious. I can’t wait to come back!

Great, friendly and knowledgeable service. Fun place to dine, family run business, and really easy and safe to eat gf. They had made churros the day I came in so wasn’t able to have chips but all tacos and most other menu items were safe. Very aware and took celiac seriously. The flan, the kale Ceasar, and ceviche were delish as were the margaritas! Highly recommend.

Food was okay, but the portions are small and really expensive for tacos. Chips are not free or bottomless and the tacos are a la carte, so no beans or rice. It was good and it was safe, but for the price and the fact I'm still hungry, i won't return.

My husband and I were looking for a place to grab some quick tacos, but I have celiac disease and you know how hard “quick” can be to find.

After reading reviews, we popped into this place. The waiter told me all of the appetizers and tacos are gluten free but quesadillas could not be. They cook the tacos separately. However, PLEASE READ THIS PART BEFORE YOU GO. They do not always have a dedicated fryer. Chips mainly go into the fryer but they also cook the churros in it. They explained to me they clean it out two times a day to make sure it’s clean for chips but sometimes they will make churros in them and they just happened to have done that that evening. I’m glad they told me! But please ask before you decide to get chips.

We ended up getting a couple different types of tacos and fresh margs (they were delicious.) My meal was good and I did not get sick and I’m extremely sensitive. However, I was shocked with how expensive my bill was by the end. So just a heads up!

We came by for take out around 5 pm on a Saturday, between the lunch and the dinner crowds. We didn't order in advance, but still got all our food 5-10 min after ordering.

They don't have a deducted GF menu, but the only things on the menu that problematic were the burritos, quesadillas, and churros. All the tacos are on corn tortillas and none of the seasonings, marinades , and sauces have any flour or gluten.

For the chips, they said they clean the fryer every night and fry all the chips in the morning. They do use the same fryer for the churros in the evening. I didn't have any of the chips since we were doing take out and had other chips at the house, but I would have felt safe eating the chips there after their explanation.

I had 3 different types of tacos (fish, octopus, and carnitas) and the ceviche. Everything was great, down to the packaging and the sauces.

Definitely a location we will be coming back to!

I’m celiac and chose this place while traveling. This was every bit as good as the reviews said on this app. Family owned, fresh food, a lot of care for gf and celiac. I had chicken tacos, guacamole and chips, and a hibiscus margarita. How the chips were made and fryer cleaning was explained so that I could decide whether I felt comfortable eating them. Loved it.

Came from Ottawa, Canada. OMG by far best little family restaurant in Florida. The service was above and beyond and the food was 5 star presentation and taste. If you love Mexican this should be on your list to visit. Well knowledges, personable and amazing food. This wasn’t our first choice but when we arrived at the other restaurant the custom service and knowledge was less than impressionable so we went here. No regrets! It’s on our bucket list to hit it again before the weeks end and we return home that is how good it is!

Wow. Eat here. Amazing experience. Now know before going in, this is a very small, super casual place inside of a mini mall. Doesn’t look like much but incredible food and great staff! Great pricing as well.

I got the ceviche, guacamole, and a couple different tacos. All great. The ceviche was good except for it was mixed with shrimp and a random fish I didn’t care for.

The staff were great and attentive. I also got a freshly made margarita with homemade juice that was safe and delicious!

Will definitely come again.

They do not have a gluten-free menu but showed me what would be safe and gluten-free, which was most of the menu (except for the burritos and churros). We ate here while on vacation, they have very good tacos, guac and chips. They also have awesome fresh squeezed margaritas!! They were very helpful about what was gluten-free and clean their fryer daily and will tell you if the fry has been used for gluten items (churros). This place is fantastic!! This family owned place has amazing and they take their food preparation seriously. They were very careful with my food and were very upfront about the fryer. If they have made churros, then celiacs cannot have the chips. I was able to have the chips when the fryer had fresh oil and was clean, I had no issues. I highly recommend this place! Our server was amazing and super helpful with my allergies! Only thing is they do NOT have a GF fryer, BUT as long as they haven’t made churros that day the fryer is GF. So just be sure to check with your server. Food was excellent and all tacos are on corn tortillas!

AMAZING TACOS!!! Best margarita I’ve ever had, with amazing service & a great atmosphere. We were told the chips were not safe because they are in a shared fryer. Our server gave us extra cucumbers with our guacamole though and he was super accommodating!!

Frequent this place regularly. Honestly my favorite taco place in sfla! The owner is a delight, as are the staff... which would keep me coming back even if the food wasnt as amazing as it is. But, fortunately the food is also awesome. Don't skip the octopus tacos (my fave)!. Chips are safe too. Most everything is GF, except the few obvious things. I'm celiac and never had an issue.
