Ordered a burger, poor communication about gluten free. Burger was basically raw, took forever, and my friend didn’t get his meal until 20 minutes after I got mine. Did not feel safe about cross contamination.

Totally worth it for the GF carrot cake alone. The burgers are good and it’s nice to be able to have one on a GF bun.

They have GF rolls for the oil dip and it was so good. They have a separate gluten free menu with a good amount of options plus dessert! The GF chicken piccata was delicious.

Joes has a fair amount of GF options on the menu. If they know you have an allergy or are celiac, they will offer a gluten free roll with your own oil and cheese. It’s not as great as the focaccia, but at least you don’t get left out. The gf options used to get lumped into a separate “healthy” menu for the low carb and vegetarian crowd. Makes me feel like they think gluten free is a lifestyle choice. Last visit, items were marked on the main menu, but everything is different during the pandemic. No dedicated fryer and I don’t think they offer gf pizza. The real pizza is made in a separate area, so lower risk of cross contamination with the main kitchen. Before the rona, the kids could sit at the pizza bar and the cook would give them dough to knead. They loved that.
Only 3 stars because the last few times I’ve been underwhelmed. Maybe covid affected the recent visit, but menu was more limited, both for me (celiac) and the kids (gluten eaters). No gf roll offered. We all felt like the meal was meh. Not bad, just nothing special. It’s nice to know there are things I can eat here if the group chooses it, but I think I’ll pass on Joes for a while.
This location has outdoor seating in the back, which is nice when the weather is good.

They came out with gluten free rolls and oil that was amazing. My dinner was really good too. They took precautions to prevent CC. Didn’t get sick.

Have eaten here 7 times, most recently this week, and always had a fantastic food experience. I have a dairy allergy as well as gluten issues and am always pleased by the number of options, even a dessert! Make sure you ask for their gf bread too!
Delicious food! The staff was knowledgeable and they brought Gfree rolls to the table. They also had gfree breadcrumbs. I have celiac and was completely fine eating here

I've eaten here many times and never gotten sick!
Good menu of GF options. To start, they bring bread and oil dip, ask for the GF bread (and its super tasty).

This has always been an easy place for me to eat. The gluten free options are fairly extensive. I am also dairy free. That limits the options quite a bit, but there are still several options to choose. The gluten free rolls are very good. However, friend ordered the Jambalaya. Not a dish they should have on the menu...just because it was not Jambalaya!

I have eaten here many times with no issues! They have good gluten free options for kids as well as adults. Staff are knowledgeable and explain how they keep everything separate. This is a good place to eat with a large group.

Slow service and no flavor in the food.
Upon telling the server I was celiac they immediately got the manager. Who washed all items used to cook my food twice. I've never received such VIP celiac service. Absolutely amazing--yummy too
Gf menu and knowledgable staff. I've been there several times and never had any contamination issues.
Yes
They are very knowledgeable about gluten, and their onion rolls are delicious.

Delicious gf food! The onion-baked bulky rolls are amazing and might make you cry if you've been pining for good-quality bread since going gf. The online app is terribly problematic: don't use it. You can call in as early as 9am tho they dont open until 11:30am
On 10.3.15, I ordered the Gluten free green machine pesto pasta to go. While my meal was labeled gf and with my first name, within an hour of eating, I was violently ill with obvious gluten poisoning. It became so bad, I passed out and my husband called 911. I was in the ER for hours as they attempted to control my symptoms and rehydrate. The next day, weak but functioning, I called and described my meal. Both the chef and the manager confirmed that the gf pasta should have been a penne style, while what I ate was a curly cavatapi (sp?) full of gluten. They sent me $75 gift card, as if I would ever trust them again. Not to mention that it barely covered the cost of our meal, to say nothing of copays for ER and ambulance ride. No one ever followed up with me, either to discuss how we can put checks and balances in place so this never happens to anyone else. Appalling. Please do not take your life into your hands by eating here.

The caramelized onion roll is really good, but I wouldn't go there for anything else. The fries are not GF, and the garlic mashed potatoes that I had to eat instead tasted like they came out of a box. Definitely not one of my best gluten-free experiences. I definitely will not be going back.

Super delicious! Ask for a roll and dipping sauce, and they'll bring you out a Gillian's Carmelized Onion roll! So good and they just rolled out a new GF menu with more options.
Loved it so much, we ate there twice! Wish they had one by me (in Michigan).

Great options, and a warm gf roll!
Everything was completely separate from my boyfriends non-gluten food.. Gluten free beer.. Everything was so good! Highly recommend!
There is a separate gluten free menu with a variety of meal options, including burgers on GF buns (no fries though). They serve warm, GF onion bread when the wheaty bread comes out, and provide separate dipping sauce. They seem to 'get it' as far as preventing cross contamination goes.
Yes
Very good gluten free options. They have gluten free dinner rolls available. Only one dessert, hopefully that will change! I love NYAJ!
Great experience here. Staff was super knowledgeable and asked about allergies right after seating us. Waitress got me a gluten free menu after I told them about being Celiac. Waitress also knew I couldn't have fries because of cross contamination. I got the mustard crusted BLT. It was definitely safe and gluten free. Tasted fine, not amazing. Green beans as a side were so good though. The menu had a ton of other options. Everything is pretty pricey, but it was nice to know I could eat my meal safely! Would definitely go back and try something else.

Server was careful about gf. Mustard crusted chicken sandwich was okay, but the gluten free rolls for appetizer and with the sandwich were the best I’ve ever had!

I always have a great experience here they are always on top of it with allergies asking upon everyone ordering. As soon as I made them aware of my allergy they brought AMAZING GF bread rolls with separate dipping oil and a gluten free menu. The GF menu has lots of options. Personally I get the kids GF Mac and cheese and it comes in an adult portion absolutely perfect !

I ordered gluten free pasta and was given the regular gluten pasta. They told me about their error after I ate my meal.
And of course now I am horribly sick. Please do not go here - you can’t trust them.
