Edit, 2016: WHYYYYY???!! COME BACK TO ME MY LOVEEEE!!!

Original: My all-time fave gf restaurant!! Their breadsticks are nothing short of addictive, and their bolognese meatballs are a delicious appetizer. LOVEEEE all their pizza and panini, and their rissotto is all spectacular. Dessert-wise my faves are the tiramisu and red velvet cupcakes - but it's all to die for! Service is always top-notch - friendly, helpful, professional. All glutards must go.

Evidently both locations are now closed! I ate at the upper west side location this past summer and it was phenomenal. Just tried to visit Bleecker St. location and it's closed! So sad

*****update 3/10/2016***** Sad to say that Risotteria announced they are now closed permanently. 😭

We enjoyed our meal here. I can see why there is usually a line! Not many tables and pretty much all is communal dining, so you might get closer to fellow diners than at other spots! We did not mind that, however! The gf breadsticks were lovely. My Son got the pizzette and enjoyed it while I got the mushroom/truffle risotto. It was quite good and had strong truffle flavor. We did not try dessert this time, but it looked good... Gf eclairs!

This is a wonderful find. Gluten free bread on the table was yummy and my son loved that everything on the menu had a GF option.

It was a great neighborhood restaurant-we wish there were one closer to home.

The best gf pizza this side of Italy. The crust is thin, crispy and tasty. It is definitely not toppings on cardboard.

Worst food ever!!

Not sure why this place is getting 5 star reviews.

Will never go back and would never recommend this nasty place. This place doesn't even deserve the one star I am forced to give in order to add this review.

I have to admit it is very exciting to be in an Italian restaurant and not have to worry about cross-contamination and they are great about other food allergies, but the risotto was a little hard and given that it's their namesake I expected better. Still very happy here and would recommend checking it out.

I went here with my friend last night. It feels amazing to look at a menu where 95% of it is gluten free. I had the waitress recommend a gf beer. It was called Estrella and it tasted like normal beer. I got a gf panini and the bread was amazing. Almost every single risotto dish was gf. We also got the chocolate tiramisu... EVERYTHING on the dessert menu is gf. Everything. It's incredible to go to a place and not worry if the staff is really knowledgable about gf. They totally get it, obviously. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Gf or not. Definitely want to go again and again.

INCREDIBLE experience! They give you delicious gluten free breadsticks to start, the service was fantastic, and the meal was great! I had a panini which I highly recommend! I also tried two desserts and loved both of them. Although I haven't purchased any of them, the restaurant sells packaged items (ie croutons and baked goods mixes).
