Absolutely amazing. Service, staff and food, all amazing. Completely gluten free and safe for celiac's. Delicious!!! Fried green tomatoes and onion rings to start. Garlic bread, texture was great, could not tell it was gluten free bread. Filet and mushroom parm with pasta for entrees. Forgot to take pictures of desserts - a banana bread dish that was deliciously, highly recommend. Mint chip "cheesecake" and vanilla bean "ice cream". The options were endless and all fresh. Amazing gluten free experience. Owner has celiac. We needed to modify our reservation, she texted with me to make sure we were accommodated and was so kind and helpful. Delicious celiac bread bowl, margherita pizza and onion rings, pasta and salads. Flourless chocolate cake and banana bread were heaven! Definitely fine dining so we were prepared for the bill. It’s a special occasion type of place but absolutely worth it! Sit outside if possible, the inside is dark and small. Must make reservations!

5 stars for the experience and taste of food. 1 star for the food poisoning I had 3 hours later. Maybe not get the lasagna.

Fine dining. The food is excellent. Gluten and other allergy aware. Everything is listed for vegans, vegetarians, egg, soy, dairy, and other allergies. They have a $69 and $89 Prix fixe menu, each of which is four courses plus a drink of your choice. Outdoor tables, linen, everything for a special occasion. Next door to a popular brewpub (3 Sisters). About a quarter mile north of Tropicana Field. Ample street parking.

Excellent food and service. 100% gluten free menu. They also don’t use any seed oils. Can’t wait to go back!

We are always searching for new gluten free locations and this was a smashing success. The owner was so friendly, the ambiance is amazing, the staff were all great, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Everything is gluten free. We had garlic bread, and shrimp Alfredo”ish” that was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

All of the bread comes from Sami’s bakery factory. If you can handle Sami’s cross contamination then you can eat here. It is too heavy on grain dishes and American Italian for me to be fine dining. The staff has very frequent turnover which leads to inconsistency and many hours long dinners. The lasagna is phenomenal. The steak is unpredictable. Skip the heavily oiled bruschetta and flatbreads. The kitchen is very tiny with no dedicated area for Celiacs.
Frequent problems not paying staff since opening has been why I will it return.

This is a GF delight. No gut issues. It was so delicious. Garlic break, snapper and frutti de Marre!! Chocolate cookie and peach cobbler. I’m going back for the lasagna and meat balls. Not a bad dish on the menu. Also GF beers available.

Best upscale completely dedicated gluten-free restaurant where there is literally something for everyone. They work with two family artisanal bakers 1 is completely dedicated gluten free baker which they use for people who are celiac people. And another who makes a couple of their artisanal bread products that are 100% gluten free ingredients (brown rice flower, flax, millet four, olive oil) it’s just that they also bake with wheat in their facility so there could be a minimal chance of cross contamination from shared equipment for those who may be highly sensitive. To solve this they offer GF bread bowl and a celiac bread bowl… just incase! I appreciate the transparency and mindfulness they take. Out of their extensive menu, the only things that they use from that family baker are the flatbreads they use. So to be safe the staff is very conscious about everyone’s needs and safety. Everything else in the menu is celiac safe, and it’s a big menu with lots of variety. They don’t even allow people to bring in any birthday cakes or food with gluten into the facility. I can eat everything on the menu and not feel like an outcast or have to just eat a salad with lemon because most restaurants also use seed oils. Not here. There’s no seed oils, refined sugar, cow cheese, corn, soy… and everything is delicious. My non celiac counterparts also love this farm-to-table gem. Must try. It’s a very special place.

Mixed feelings about this one. My initial impression was that it is 100% gf which is not true. They advertise it as “everything in the kitchen is gf” however on the menu it marks certain items such as the French onion soup you need to ask for a gf crostini or gf croutons on the salad. Apparently everything they make in house is gf but they outsource things such as croutons. The shrimp Alfredo was amazing but the gf garlic bread was terrible. The gf cookie was also underwhelming. Overall kind of disappointing especially for an expensive dinner.

While their food is very good and we had an excellent meal, the "dedicated gluten free" classification should be taken with a cautionary red asterisk.
The chef has Celiac, which means he is extra cautious because they do outsource a number of items on their menu. As a result, there are cross contamination warnings on a significant amount of the small menu, meaning celiacs need to choose carefully and are limited.
A little disappointed after getting very excited about the another dedicated facility.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in town. Finally have a restaurant where quality food is served with out the gluten worries. We took our son and daughter in law for a birthday celebration and I have to say we were blown away. Food and service were everything you would expect in fine dining. This is not a quick in and out style restaurant so plan to take your time and truly enjoy the exceptional offerings. This will become a regular for us.

Everything is GF and it all seemed celiac safe. The chef has celiac disease. The bread trio basket had the best GF bread I've had! This definitely isn't a quick restaurant and you should expect to spend 2 hours for dinner.

I was so excited for this restaurant and am so disappointed. As I write this, I’m having the worst reaction that my system ever has from gluten exposure. I was glutened from this restaurant, and not just a little bit. I am literally hugging the toilet. Celiac unsafe.

Best dining experience I’ve ever had. Everything is gluten free and celiac safe foods are clearly marked. The food is incredibly delicious. Must go if in the area

The entire menu is gluten free and absolutely deliciously prepared by the owner/chef. A husband and wife (she was former ally a caterer) who live the healthy lifestyle own and run it. It is fine dining quality food, so it is a bit pricey, but you can eat every item on the menu and the food is high quality locally sourced, so many options and no worries! I even ordered wine as it was organic and no sulfates. It is a small intimate venue and everyone was super friendly. As a treat we will eat there any time we are in town.

Taste abundant flavors without any gluten and limited dairy/meat if you choose in the #StPete Warehouse District. Prix fixe or à la carte menus available. To start we shared gluten free garlic bread and each had the dreamy Creamy Sweet Potato Bisque. He got a delicious filet covered with oyster mushroom gravy over carrot mousse with fingerling sweet potatoes. My vegan vegetable lasagna with brown rice noodles was filling- and they also offer a gooey, cheesy, meaty version. The only item that didn’t knock our socks off was the chocolate brownie cake - which was *good* but the soup made us want to lick the bowl. We actually made a second reservation while still at our table. Reservations recommended on weekends. Watch social media for specials. Created thoughtfully by caring locals.

Being celiac can make it hard to find nice dinner restaurants that are safe to eat at. Sol is 100% gluten free and allows me to enjoy a real restaurant experience with no worries. I love this place and am so glad they are here in St Pete. The Italian meals (lasagna, spaghetti, etc) are on point.

absolutely delicious food! every single item was flavorful and didn’t even “taste gluten free.” much of the menu was also vegan/vegetarian and very enjoyable for those with stricter diets. the atmosphere was also quiet and personal. it was such an enjoyable evening. i will absolutely be going back again!

I had been looking forward to dining at sol St Pete before it had initially opened. (Gluten sensitive ) We dined there a week ago & my anticipation along with expectations were not equitable with our experience. While I can honestly give a 5 star rating to our waiter , my rating for our food was maybe a 3. Appetizers & drinks were good. Our entrees fair at best. Food was basically on the dry side. Tuna steak was dry & not cooked right. The Veggie lasagna ( which everyone raves about) was ordinary. My fettuccine with goat cheese was good, but before I had finished less than half, it had dried out. My hubby had spaghetti & meatballs…meatballs were dry & tasteless to him. Sadly…I REALLY want this restaurant to succeed!!!! Love the farm to table, the attention to many food allergies & healthy choices! I do plan to try again in the near future however. Everyone deserves another chance !

So excited for a new dedicated gluten free restaurant in the area! The food is absolutely amazing and it’s so nice to not have to worry about cross contamination. The sweet potato soup was out of this world and my husband (not gf) really enjoyed his rolls and chicken leg. Definitely recommend for a nice date night out.

Such a gift to be able to enjoy a fine dining experience without worrying about gluten or cross-contact! Sol is 100% GF (as well as soy, peanut, and refined sugar free!). Food was delicious - we had the beet hummus which came with GF bread (amazing!), flax lavash, and fresh veggies. Also had pan-seared cod and GF dinner rolls. Wines, GF beers and ciders available. Not an inexpensive dining experience but well worth it!
