The Donut Whole

This place is amazing!! They have a whole rack (1/4 of the racks) that is vegan and gluten free! They make the special donuts first so they are not cross-contaminated with egg or gluten. They also use nitrile gloves, so no latex. The customer service is awesome as well! Definitely coming back when I next visit Wichita!

The staff here is very knowledgeable. I have Celiac's and have ate here for years with without having a single reaction. They now have GF and vegan donuts every day.

We are from Texas and have been to Wichita a few times. So happy we found these donuts. They're yummy and we make a point of always going.

I had a really good experience here. Staff was more than willing to separate GF donuts from regular ones in a different container. They also changed gloves in between the GF donuts and regular. I loved the variety they offered, very refreshing to see more than 3 options of GF at a restaurant. I have seen that they use the same fryer for the GF and regular so I would proceed with caution if you are highly reactive/sensitive. I personally did not have a reaction and will be back in the future.

Made a special trip here, but was informed that the gluten free donuts are made in a shared fryer. They said “we clean the fryer every night, and then cook the gluten free donuts first in the fresh oil.” I decided against eating here.

I happened to hit them up on a busy gluten-free day and was limited in options, but it was also only half an hour until they closed. Super happy they had GF options at all! 😭

They use Bob’s Red Mill GF 1-to-1 flour, and the donuts are a little cake-y, but OMG, so soft and moist!

Spoke with the owner/manager. They only make gluten-free donuts on Tuesday and Sunday. They do take precautions against contamination. They also don’t charge extra for the gluten-free ones. Had 4 and they were delicious. No tummy problems.

Went in on a Sunday for their gluten free donuts. They have a sign above their gluten free sections. We got one of each. We came in a few hours after they opened and they had 22 different gluten free donuts! Of course I got one of each! So far everyone is delicious. They have a sponge cake texture and each icing pairs well with the flavor of the dough. Was told they freeze well so might get a friend to get some, freeze, then ship to me in the future. If I'm in the area again will definitely be ordering again.

Its gf donuts! Sundays and Tuesday only. The donuts are real and not frozen. They are really good. They make different kinds every week so it's not just chocolate, or original. They have fun ones with cereal, sprinkles with fun names. Probably have to ask what it is sense they name the donuts like "the Simpson"

Have two kids with celiac and we haven’t had any issues. They were so excited to get to have donuts that weren’t frozen. We tested the donuts with our nima sensor a couple of times and it tested gluten-free.

Only offer gluten free 2 days a week and those days days aren’t posted anywhere.

They have gluten free donuts on Sunday’s and Tuesday’s!! Lived here for four years and never knew! So good and a lot of variety!
