Love this place! Serves multiple gluten free options and has a separate dedicated kitchen area for gluten free food. Has amazing gf chocolate chip pancakes. Their sister company is corner pub bar and grill, which is another great spot.

Atmosphere is fun and owned by same group as The Corner Pub so they know gluten free offering a separate GF menu. We ask for “celiac awareness” when we order and our meals came marked with gluten-free sticks. My son loved his chocolate chip banana pancake!

I ordered a “do it yourself meg ryan” online. It offered me the option of a gluten free pancake, and I chose to pay $6 extra to include blueberry compote and lemon curd. The blueberry/lemon were offered under the GF pancake option so they should have been GF.

The lemon curd is apparently not gluten free but was put in the same container as the gluten free pancake. This is a huge mistake for a restaurant that claims to be good for those with celiac disease. I called a manager to let him know, politely, and he hung up quickly and didn’t offer to refund the extra I paid for the topping.

I only got 8 blueberries with the compote and the pancake was chewy. This is normally a great meal. Disappointed.

I go to The Shack so much with my family, their gluten free chocolate chip pancake is amazing! Never had any problems with any of their food, I definitely recommend.

I had the GF burger and it was really tasty. The portions were HUGE. It was marked GF which made me feel better. My family enjoyed their items, too! Great experience!!

Awesome menu and staff. I’ve been here multiple times with good experiences. One time I forgot to order GF and they replaced it for me, no problem.

This is my go to breakfast place since being diagnosed with Celiac! The food is amazing and very affordable. They have a dedicated kitchen space and I never have to worry about cross contamination

Delicious! I have gone there 3 times so far and keep going back. Haven't gotten sick once. The gluten free menu has lots of yummy options.

Wonderful experience! Best gluten free pancake we’ve ever had. Two kids with Celiac and had no issues eating here. Separate gluten free menu with a lot of options. We will make this a regular stop when we go to St. Louis.

Unfortunately, I have to lower my normal rating for The Shack. They used to have so many choices for gluten free but they seem to be paring down their gf menu. No peanut butter, no steak and egg breakfast, no corn tortilla for breakfast tacos. Just seems like they could have some extra items that wouldn't cost that much but would allow more options. Used to be so fun to come here. Still feel safe eating here but let's go back to more options, please. .

The shack’s owners have a daughter with celiac. They have a separate GF menu. Just ask for it at the host station. They cook anything ordered gluten free on a dedicated cook station. Everything we’ve gotten is delicious. They serve breakfast and lunch, but only breakfast on Sundays.
