Lots of gluten free choices on the menu. The mozzarella sticks are not safe for celiac because they are fried in a shared fryer. Ingot the baked ziti. The sauce and cheese was really good. I’m pretty sure they use the barilla GF pasta. Would visit again!

Everything was absolutely amazing. They take a GF very seriously with options marked on the menu. They make their own Italian sausage and a lot of their sauces in house.

No longer has gluten free cheese sticks, due to use of a common frier. The food is mediocre. The cheese sticks were the reason to go to, for me.

Please remember that this is primarily a full Italian/pizza restaurant and although they work very hard to prevent cross contamination there is still a *chance* that excess flour in the air can land on different surfaces. Although cross contamination is kept to the very minimal amount it can still happen.
Owner is celiac, check! It’s not a totally gf menu but it is labeled and they do use separate areas for the fried mozzarella, the fried zucchini and fried calamari were not gf, most of the pasta dishes can be made gf and the pizza was a cauliflower crust, cooked separately and used a different knife to cut it, they cooked the pasta in a different pot of water from other pastas, highly recommend, the food was very tasty and delicious, the server was very knowledgeable, it did take alittle longer than everyone else but we were fine with that as long as we didn’t get sick we ordered the fav pizza, the shrimp pasta ( forgot the name) spaghetti and gf meatballs and the baked ziti, so we ordered way too much as usual but couldn’t resist with so many options and it was Italian! The marinara sauce was also delicious

The food was delicious and service was fantastic. I had gluten free mozzarella sticks, baked ziti and split an antipasto salad. The salad and mozzarella sticks were excellent. The baked ziti was good, but I think there’s probably better things on their menu And I’d try something else for my entree next time. There was only one other table with customers, but our waitress didn’t forget about us and checked on us frequently to update about or food, and check if we needed anything. She did also warn us the gluten free pasta takes twice as long for them to cook, which was true but we didn’t mind since we knew when we were ordering. I’ll definitely go back and hope the restaurant is busier in future so they can stay in business because they are a hidden gem.

Had lots of gluten free items and the staff was very knowledgeable. Only complaint was the restaurant was hot and kind of dark.

The food here is not very flavorful. The reviews made it seem amazing, but I have had better Italian food in most other places. The mozzarella stick are good, but I don’t think its even worth it to go back. I don’t understand what everyone is raving about. Prefer 2 pizzas (1 gf, 1 reg), a side salad, mozzarella sticks, an entree of ravioli (not gf) and chocolate mousse and it was $86! If you want good gf food on the coast, skip this place.

Wish we lived here so I could eat here all the time! Went based on reviews and so glad we did. Very friendly service, quaint setting with GF items clearly marked on the menu. They have a family member with Celiac so they take precautions seriously. Had GF mozzarella sticks for real! Also, almost all of their pasta dishes can be made GF. Their alfredo sauce is naturally GF. Everything we had was top notch. Absolutely delicious!!!

Fantastic Italian food that I can eat! Very celiac friendly place to eat, with apps, entrees, pizza and dessert available gluten free. Also does 10% military discount. Will be returning as a regular customer!

My pasta was delicious, best tasting and textured GF pasta I’ve ever had. They did let me know it would be a bit longer for GF since I was the first customer of the day (about 20 minutes extra) but I was in no rush and it was certainly worth the wait. The mozz sticks were really good too. Staff is kind and very knowledgeable. Chef has Celiac so they are very aware of cross contamination. Highly recommend!!!!

Chef, who is also the owner, has celiac and is very knowledgeable and conscientious about the gluten free options. Try the gluten free mozzarella sticks. All of it was delicious.

Chef Chris is a Celiac and so am I. I ate the best Italian meal in his establishment I've ever eaten, and didn't get sick at all. Can't wait to visit again!!

I ate here for the first time yesterday and have not had a reaction yet. I ordered the cheese sticks and a pepperoni pizza and it was very good. First time I’ve had cheese sticks in several years. The chef has celiac so I felt very comfortable eating here despite regular pizzas also being made in the kitchen

Food was good. Service was good. I have Celiac and thought I was safe because chef also has Celiac. I was wrong. Within an hour I was so sick I knew I had been gluten. I will not be going back. I will keep with my safe places.
No
The chef is Celiac! We had the GF chicken cacciatore without the onion or peppers (they are GF but not my preference) and chicken parmigiana.

I’m celiac and super sensitive. Great meal with no problems. As for the food? Oh my goodness!! It was incredible. Put the gluten issue aside and just focus on the old family recipes re-imagined and crafted for family members with celiac. I haven’t had Italian food quite this good in many years... and I’ve dined in the Sicilian influenced Island, Malta. I rarely do reviews, but they deserve every star and word written.

This place was amazing. First time eating here and my wife was able to enjoy most of the menu. I think her favorite was the gluten free mozzarella sticks. Definetly recomend to anyone. Food and service was amazing

After reading on previous post that the owner had celiac, I had to try it. It was wonderful. We had fried mozzarella sticks and antipasto. Then I had the Shrimp Alfonso. Yum 😃. The owner came out and talked to us and told us his story. They have other pasta dishes that can be made GF and meatballs! I will definitely go back (even with the 40 minute drive).

This was the best italian food ive ever had in my life outside of italy. Fit for a king! I was ecstatic to find gluten free mozzarella sticks and alfredo sauce!! Who doesnt love white sauce!?
AMAZING and vitally rare! Everything here is family recipes and made from scratch and the owner has Celiac Disease so he modified many recipes to be gluten free! They are the only ones around with gluten free Alfredo sauce, meatballs, chicken Parmesan, mozzarella sticks, pastas and so much more! It’s so great having an Italian restaurant that actually KNOWS what a celiac patient needs!
