Review of 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria

Good pizza and good GF options. One of the few “design your own” pizza places that takes cross-contamination precautions. They cook the crust on foil, change gloves and use a dedicated pizza cutter. There is always a risk of cross-contamination with a pizza place but I have Celiac and have never gotten sick here. (Unlike Mod which blatantly cross-contaminates their GF crusts.) I always get pesto instead of pizza sauce just to be on the safe side since they spread the regular pizza sauce with the ladle. You could probably ask for fresh stuff from the back if you really wanted the tomato sauce. It takes them a few extra minutes to pre-bake the GF crust because it takes longer than the regular ones but I just have them write down what I want on it, pay and have them bring it out. My go-to for carry out GF pizza in Sugar Land.
