"As America’s Favorite Neighbor, the health and safety of our guests are top priorities at Applebee’s. As part of our commitment to you, we provide the most current allergen information available from our food suppliers on eight common allergens plus gluten and added monosodium glutamate (MSG), so that our guests with food allergies can make informed food selections. Please be aware that during normal kitchen operations involving shared cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil, the possibility exists for food items to come in contact with other food products. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to guarantee that any menu item can be completely free of allergens."
Love Applebees! Not a variety of choices, but it’s still accommodating.

My husband and I eat at this location often, it is one of my few trusted restaurants. The staff is always very nice and understanding of my needs having celiac disease. I have very few places I trust, this particular Applebees is on my short list.

Both my child and I were able to eat here safely and work no problem. Tasty, too: had the Burbon Street chicken and riblets.

Do not eat here! My family has eaten here a few times over the years and one of the six of us always ends up with food poisoning. Just do not do it?

Stopped in for dinner. Asked the host if they have anything gluten free. She looked confused and said no. We left I was very disappointed
This is not ok. Breaded chicken was labeled gf and celiac safe. Quesadias were too. It was horrible. I was glutened terrible while throwing and having the worst stomach aches of my life:

I ordered a salad and twice it had gluten. First time it came with bread sticks. Second time there was pieces of breaded chicken mixed in even when there was none listed on this salad. Don't eat here. It's not safe.

They say their bone in wings are gluten free but they fry them in gluten contaminated fryers. They fry everything in the same fryer. Also, they are not good when it comes to cross contamination.

Good restaurant chain. They substitute for gluten free bun on their burgers. Fries are not safe so I normally get mashed potatoes. They added a rice chicken bowl on their menu and that's what I normally order. They are pretty cautious about gluten allergy and a specific/different server comes out to bring just the gluten free order to avoid cross contamination, I suppose. Their cheesecake with no crumb base is delicious. I have never gotten contaminated going there.

I trusted Applebee's list of allergens and gluten containing foods. The list is common to all Applebee's restaurants in their chain. Went three times to this particular restaurants, and as I always do I ask about GF options in their menu. I have been given conflicting answers about their french fries. Last time the manager explained that the french fries "theoretically" do not contain gluten, but not being fried in a dedicated frier they are not gluten free. She was sincere. Unfortunately, I was pointed to their allegen list previously, and made.to notice that fries do not contain gluten. And I had fries. The top managers of the chain are then gravely and grossly misleading customers with their "allergens list", clearly totally ignorant of the damage their are doing.

I would give zero stars if I could because we didn’t even get past the hostess here. Before sitting down we asked for a menu for a quick glance and what was available for gf options. Was quickly and rudely told that there aren’t any gf options besides what was on the menu (listed as gluten sensitive) and when asked if anything could be made in a special area was quickly told no as well. Not helpful and not interested in even telling if they had a gf bun or pasta. Did not seem knowledgeable in celiac care at all.

Staff was sweet however the food labeled GS(gluten sensitive) is definitely not safe. They use the same fryer for all the foods?! I completely understand that there could potentially be cross contamination however I do not think menu items deserve the title as gluten sensitive when the fryer is shared with breaded items.

I would not go here if you are celiac. Wait staff had no idea on anything . They have mislabeled menus including French fry’s as gluten sensitive , cooked in a shared fryer ! Also wondering about the fresh made nachos , Fried ? Also on the gluten sensitive menu. We will not be back. When we showed him the fry’s, he said “ that’s out of my control” . šš¾

Despite telling our waitress 3 times I was gluten free, she brought my salad with a breadstick. I told her I could not eat the salad as it was now contaminated. She said “can’t you just take it off?” When I explained that it doesn’t work that way, she got an attitude and put in another order for a second salad. When we got our tab, they charged me for both salads! They did remove the second charge only after I pointed it out. Will never eat here again as they are obviously ignorant to what a gluten allergy means. I know they can’t guarantee there will be no cross contamination but when you have a “GS” label by the meal I ordered and I told you 3 times I was gluten free, I did not expect that a breadstick would be on my plate. Avoid this restaurant!

I ordered 6oz steak with garlic mash potatoes with steamed greenbeans instead of broccoli. I was very impressed with my food especially my tender steak. My male waitress was very patient with me with my menu and was very helpful and notified the cooker of my Celiac and Microscopic colitis disease. I will definitely go back. This was on 2/24/23 around 3:00. So I hope his manager will see this. Thank you again. 5 š for the place and waitress.

I ate here a few months ago and got extremely sick. I ordered off the gluten sensitivity menu. I wasn’t sure what had made me sick so I tried it again a few days ago hoping the first time was just a fluke. I ordered the burben chicken and shrimp off the gluten sensitivity menu and got extremely sick.

January 19, 2023. Ate dinner here with my wife and friends. I'm not crazy about their "Gluten Sensitive" menu, but I have eaten at other Applebee's in the past without issues. At the other Applebee's where I have had success, the staff has been very attentive to my gluten allergy. At this location, the staff could not have paid the allergy any less attention. I asked for the cooks to change gloves and use fresh serving utensils. I was told they were busy and short staffed. I ate the grilled chicken with garlic potatoes and steamed broccoli. I was sick before I left the restaurant. At this location, be very careful if you are sensitive to gluten exposure.

Had the steak, green beans and broccoli as we figured that would be the safest. Server essentially said everything was a risk. I asked for the manager and they did not come. After talking to the server, we did end up with the steak because of the least chance of cross contamination but I wouldn't have eaten here if I had it to do again.

I was not impressed with this location. Staff, including management had little understanding of safe options. After many conversations and questions, I was served a grilled chicken salad with a breadstick on top. My son(celiac) did enjoy his grilled chicken taco bowl.

I would not recommend for Celiacs!!!! š£ I stressed my severe allergy to gluten and ordered a salad.. they said no dressing was gluten free but lemon oil, even though website says that have a few that are indeed gluten free. My salad came out with a big breadstick on itš³š I told them I cant even have gluten touch my food as cross contamination can hurt me. waitress seemed annoyed and took my salad back, within a minute or two she returned with a new salad I asked her if they just removed the breadstick and they told me that they made a new one but it looked to me like they just remove the breadstick so I chose not to eat it and they still charged me for the salad. Definitely the last time I will be eating here!!!!

server straight up told me the store didnt have an allergen menu because they cant prevent allergens. Which -is false- and I didnt feel like arguing for it, so I opted for grilled chicken and mashed potatoes. I didnt feel sick after. Found the allergen menu online. The service was great. Their menu has a "GS" next to items that are deemed gluten sensitive. The employees are also knowledgeable about cross contamination and shared friers. I have not had any issues here but it is important to note that there was no true "gluten free" items on the menu, only gluten sensitive so if you are celiac please be careful while dining here.

I’d give it 3 1/2 stars. The menu has GS to mark gluten sensitive (I’ll attach photos), but the menu also mentions shared oil in the fine print, so those marks are misleading if you’re celiac. They have fries and stuff with tortilla chips marked as gluten sensitive even though they’re fried in the same fryer as everything else, so I opted to stay away from anything fried just in case. The waiter did say nothing was guaranteed, but the chefs are very careful and change their gloves. I got the grilled chicken breast which comes with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. It was pretty good, although maybe the most boring thing on the menu. Haha. The mashed potatoes were very good, but there was a “skin” on the potatoes like the purée had sat for a while and dried out a little. I didn’t get sick—just a little indigestion after, but no big reaction. Overall, I’d come here again if a family event was there, but I wouldn’t choose it myself because of the fairly limited options and misleading Gluten Sensitive marks.
