The staff knew what to do and informed me that everything was fried in a separate area. I had the spicy pei wei chicken and a chicken salad roll. Both were good, nothing special or fancy. Standard fast food Asian. I did not feel sick at all. I feel comfortable going back.

Went in today to try the new gluten free menu. I watched my food be prepared in a different area by a different person than the regular, gluten containing items. My meal was labeled gluten free and they even provided tamari sauce with it. The food tasted fine -it wasn't anything special. I felt that with their new menu they have have developed better procedures for ensuring food is gluten free. I was also able to use a coupon on gluten free which I was not able to do previously.

They have expanded the gluten free options!!! Excellent choices now. Good flavor on Kung Pao and the Mongolian. So happy to get fried rice again

Two options the pei wei & sweet n sour. Both really good in my opinion. After I ordered I could hear the cook in the back getting excited about the gluten free order and I could see her pointing to the different fryers. Definitely wasn’t worried about getting sick eating here tonight.

I wasn’t very hungry or sure of the safety of this location so I ordered a side of white rice. The family we were with ordered gluten free items and said they’ve eaten there safely, but the waitress/employee who brought food to the table went back and forth 3 times trying to check which was gluten free and which wasn’t. One of the gluten free plates had beef on it (not part of the meal) near the rice which was questionable as far as getting an allergen-free plate. I was glad with my choice as it seemed the employees didn’t take allergies seriously.

Replacing all previous reviews to say they just added 4 more gf entrees. Have not tried them yet, but we have been going here for years and my wife has never been ill.

GF options built into the menu. Knowledgeable staff. Food brought out from kitchen and declared GF which is always a plus. Good place to eat while waiting for a flight.

We used to have a good experience here--but now after 7 or 8 times of "one more chance" we never will again. I've become sick numerous times with my gluten free meal, been served chickens completely raw in side, given a salad of rotten lettuce, just to make a few incidences.

The food was relatively good but the server was not very knowledgeable about gf. They also only had 7 gf options on the menu out of over 45. Three of which were salads

Ok, I have given them multiple chances, but this is now the 3rd time I've gotten glutened at this location. GM swore he was retraining staff but that's clearly not the case or their staff really doesn't care. We even triple checked with the staff this time and I found noodles strands mixed in. They clearly don't grasp the severity.

I have been here several times and enjoy the sweet and sour chicken and original chicken. There are other choices as well. Yummy

The staff is either uninformed or does not take gf seriously. The woman taking my order needing confirmation with another employee about gluten free. They brought me out the wrong food but called it what I had ordered. I’ve eaten at other Pei Weis many times so I knew the difference and asked for my order. Another employee brought out the same plate of food and again misnamed it. I repeated what I had ordered, gf pei wei original with shrimp. The plate of food I was brought for the third time was brown, as in contained soy sauce, not gf. The employee called it gf but I was too skeptical and disgusted with the ordeal by then (my kids had finished their meals) I left. Never had a problem at a Pei Wei before. Disappointing.

They were able to make gluten free fried rice and gluten free Pei Wei Spicy Chicken. The menu has a "can be prepared gluten-free" icon shown on the items that it applies to. To make my chicken breaded, they tossed it in potato starch before putting it in the pan. Very light, crunchy, and all-around tasty!

Went to Pei Wei tonight. 3 people were in front of us. When we got to place our order, they guy left and started clearing tables. After about 5 minutes, the carry out guy asked is if we were ready. Unbelievable! I am giving it 2 stars because I they offer gluten free options.

I haven't been in about 3 months, due to my order being wrong 8 times in a row. Two of the times they were not gluten free, I could tell immediately by the texture that they were not and I was originally argued with by the staff until the kitchen confirmed what I knew. The manager was very rude and unhelpful. When I called corprate they were very nice and concerned and gave me $10 off my next meal. The next time I went was the last because they messed my order up again, and I always order the second thing and I just got tired of the fight. I never had any trouble the previous 3 years I'd been going. Anyways they do have gluten free food, it's just up to you if you think it's worth the risk.

This has been my go to restaurant for gluten free for a couple of years. Always felt safe eating here, until two days ago. I ordered the GF sweet and sour chicken as usual. For some reason I felt uneasy about the food when it came, even asked the waitress if she was sure it was gluten free and was assured that it was. Well, it wasn't. I've been glutened big time and have two weeks of misery to look forward to. I won't be going back.

Asked for gluten free pei wei chicken. It took an extra 15 minutes, but worth it to know it was prepared separately. It also tested gluten free with my Nima sensor. And the food was delicious!

I went in to eat lunch with my family. Ordered the Gluten Free sweet and sour chicken told them that I was Celiac. Got my food. 5 bites in I was glutened. Very disappointed. Not the first time Pei Wei cross contaminated my food. I was sick for 2 weeks.

They have only 2 items that gluten free, which is sweet & sour and Pei Wei original. The chicken seems to coat with lightly flour, which we don’t know if it gluten free flour. They said they have gluten free soy sauce but can’t make gluten fried rice. They said they can only make fried rice with only no sauce at all. So, basically rice mix with veggies in the wok. Then don’t said that you have gluten free soy sauce. Luckily, my son said he can eat the sweet &sour. The taste wasn’t bad but the steam vegetable that come with order was very old. One of the broccoli and black mold on it. Not impressed and disappointed.

My go to, fast food restaurant. I can't remember the last time I had an issue here. Something about wok coming must keep cross contamination issues down.

We have been eating here regularly since we moved back to Utah seven months ago. Except for one time, we have eaten there without any problem and I am very severe in my symptoms. The night I got sick there was a brand new kid there. He tried he just didn’t quite know what he was doing. But when the manager is there he always handles things wonderfully!

They manager (vanna) even had the kitchen make me a personal size lettuce wrap with no sauce and then added gf soy sauce for me! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. This is the only Pei Wei we go to because of the great staff here!

My husband and I were going to this location for a while and the staff were super kind and helpful. Even the guys who cook waved when we came in because they knew us :) They always made my fried rice with gluten free soy sauce but when we went one day, the girl at the counter said they couldn’t anymore because the manager said “No” I asked to speak to the manager and she came right out and said they can make me rice and give me a packet of gluten free soy sauce to stir it in myself due to “corporate not wanting them to waste time opening each small packet for customers with special requests while it’s busy and risk backing up the other customers orders” When she said this I looked around and we were the only ones in line and about 5 others who were in the restaurant eating already. She said they can “do me a favor this one time” but no longer. I guess so much for customer service. Sad because the actual staff was great and the food always great, but this nasty manager ruined it. By the way, every other Pei Wei in Jacksonville has never had a problem making me fried rice with gluten free soy sauce and has always taken the extra time to open the little packets no matter how many other people there were :) Continuing to love Pei Wei....just NOT this location due to the nasty manager

I ordered online and selected the gluten allergy option. When I picked up, the staff were extremely confused about what the gluten allergy meant on the receipt. Asked to talk to the manager to make sure food was prepared correctly and he wasn’t any more reassuring. He wasn’t even sure which food options on their menu were gluten free, which seemed strange. In the end, I didn’t feel confident to try o my food and gave it to my non celiac family members to eat.
