Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Unfortunately My first ever meal from this franchise made me sick. I ordered the sick GF Mongolian shrimp with brown rice. Tasted awesome and they provided GF soy sauce but within 15 minutes my stomach was hurting.

I ordered a carry out gluten free dish (ginger broccoli) from their GF menu. I tested it at home with the Nima sensor, and it contained gluten. Did not eat it as I have celiac disease and cannot eat any gluten.

Easy location, just after security. Had never eaten at a Pei Way before, so I was a little nervous. They do have a sign up about allergens and how they can't guarantee cc, but I had the original Pei Way and it was good! Spicy and fresh. Didn't make me sick, which was the best part!

I got their Gluten Free Sweet and Sour chicken (since that’s also DF) for the 1st time back in early January to-go and I got sick. But my kids have been begging to come back, so I braved it again and ate at location. Ordered same thing since I can’t have dairy and any of their GF meals do contain dairy. I was prepared to be sick but thankfully wasn’t! Meal was good and I was very happy to not be sick afterwards. Not sure what happened a few months ago when I was gluten’d, maybe Cross Contamination issue or they gave me non-GF the 1st time. I would say this place is a roll of the dice. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Updated my previous 1 star review. We used to eat here frequently and had several bad experiences and stopped for about 2 years. We recently tried it again as the gluten free menu had changed and we had an excellent experience. It just goes to show that a staff that cares makes a HUGE difference in the allergy friendly food quality. I wouldn't guarantee is celiac safe BUT as someone with a severe gluten reaction, I had no trouble after our most recent visit.

Eat here frequently and haven’t been sick! It makes me nervous because the shrimp come breaded but I’ve asked about this multiple times and they said they use potato flour. It’s delicious and I eat here pretty frequently and haven’t been sick (the customer service is lacking though)

I like Pei Wei a lot, but their meals can be a hit or miss. They are not consistent. I go because it’s affordable and convenient for me. Especially as take out.

Staff pretty gluten free clueless. Got the lettuce wraps gluten free. They used noodles in stead of rice? I guess they add gluten to their white rice? Swimming in water. Kind of a mess to eat. They also have changed their $2.19 ice tea selection. Yuck! Asked me twice if everything was good and I said no. Said sorry and ran! What kind of customer service is that? At least they asked??? Lol. Very disappointing 😞

Although I have loved eating here before being diagnosed with celiac, I would no eat here being gf. I have tried to eat here countless times and every time I end up getting sick. Although I wish I could eat here, it is not the best for someone with celiac disease.

Ordered GF Mongolian Chicken. Told them to take allergy protocols. Yet, dinner had pieces of noodles in it. They did refund our meal, but now my son is likely to be sick. I don’t trust them to take appropriate protocols in the future. Do not recommend. :-(

They’ve added several gluten free options: King Pao, Mongolian, Pei Wei Original, Sweet and Sour, Ginger Broccoli, and Fried Rice bowls! The Edamame, Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps, and Asian Chopped Salad are also GF. I didn’t double check, but it looks like each item is cooked up in its own wok.

Ordered the ginger beef and broccoli over rice. Specifically said gluten free. Everything looked fine, until I noticed small pieces of noodles in my beef and broccoli. It literally looked like leftovers from someone else's plate. So far they've messed up and contaminated my plate twice. Not sure if I should go there again. Was incredibly sick 'cause of them.
