Had preimum veggie pizza on GF crust. Lunch with co-workers. Very good, fresh veggies
The first lady that posted this restaurant was seriously mistaken. This Pizza Hut is NOT and NEVER was one of the locations offering gluten free. We drove 30 minutes to this place only to be extremely disappointed. There are absolutely no safe gf places in Madison area.
Terrible customer service, very limited gluten-free selection, only one pizza is gluten free, it is pepperoni and cheese and they will not allow you to add additional toppings. I have purchased the gluten-free pizza three times from this location on various days and hours to see if maybe a different cook would be able to produce a pizza that was not burned black on the bottom but no all three pizzas on all three occasions or burned black all the way across the bottom.
I'm always a little nervous at Pizza Hut. This location appears quite clean. We dined in on our way through town and I actually heard the girl making my pizza ask for pepperoni that had not been on the line (I thought their pizzas came pre-packaged). She also asked if it was ok to place my box on top of my husbands box containing gluten.
I have gotten the gf cheese Pizza on 3 seperate occasions and not had any reaction to contamination. If you are sensitive to gluten I would only order the cheese or pepperoni as they are made by udi's in a certified gf facility. make sure if you call in the specify gf and always ask them to change gloves and use a clean pan as a precaution.
they do not have dedicated kitchen space, but prevent contact with contaminated surfaces. they only serve up a gfree pepperoni pizza and cannot guarantee that anything added to the pizza is gluten free. all in all, the pizza is very good and I've eaten it many times with no issues.
Arrived to pick up my pizza in time to watch it get cut with the same cutter they use for all the pizzas. Was told that I needed to call them after I ordered my gluten free pizza online to tell them that it had to be gluten free. I called the manager the next day (the guy who told me I needed to call to insure that my pizza was gluten free) who told me that he needed to talk to his kitchen staff to retrain them in the proper method of handling gluten free pizzas. I have also spoken to higher up management who assured me that this will get taken care of. Despite the offers of free pizza and coupons, I will not be returning to this location.
Pretty good GF pizza for something quick.
Tried the GF pizza and it was pretty good! Didn't get sick either :)
I have ordered from here multiple times, and have always ended up with residual / minor "glutening" symptoms: queasy stomach, letharguc, headache, brain fog... The pizza crust isn't even really that good or tasty. It's almost a glorified cardboard. But, it makes me feel "normal" to be able to eat pizza like "everyone else"... Except that I end up feeling blech afterwards, and that sux.
I don't know what they do to their gf pizza but it's not good. They use the same Udi's crust as other places, but it's aweful in comparison. Also, they have a huge crosscontamination issue. I don't think the employees know, or care to know about food allergies. Go to Barros down the road, it's WAY better, and they will take care of your allergy there.
