This place is delicious and has a dedicated fryer! Got nachos, truffle fries and amazing shrimp tacos. Was in town with friends but will look for an excuse to come back to the area just to eat at this restaurant!!!
Can't oder online. Menu is isn’t clear and VERY limited. 8 items TOTAL are listed as gluten-free.

We enjoyed everything we ate here! They had gf buns and many items marked gf.
Had an amazing experience here in February; we needed a hearty snack and ordered the wings and a side of fries to keep us going on a winery tour and boy howdy did we EAT. Dedicated fryer, absolutely delicious food. As we walked out we saw the prime rib coming out of the smoker and we were so tempted to walk back in for another round of food 😂 the waitress seemed a little uncertain about Gf things and had to check with the kitchen, but the kitchen folks were super nice and not only did I not get sick but I enjoyed every bite.

The waitress seemed like she might be new and was less knowledgeable about cross contamination concerns but she made sure to check with the kitchen. Food was good and I didn’t have any issues
Had cracklings, wings, prime rib, and steak. Dedicated fryer. Food was yummy tavern food. Meaty wings. Prime rib was smoked, tender, and juicy. Had a delicious cider, too. Some things marked on menu; some can be modified on request.
Ahhhmazing!!! Our server was knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t gluten free on the menu. It’s not marked on the menu, but they will do what they can to customize your order. We loved 1836!! No GF desserts, but that was ok as we couldn’t eat another bite! :)
This place is amazing! The seltzer and cider selection is great, gf buns available, order the salmon dish, you won’t be disappointed!
1836 has a dedicated fryer for French fries. They offer a gluten free bun, for burgers and sandwiches. They have a salmon and zucchini noodles entree that is gluten free. They have a variety of ciders available. You can ask them questions and they will let you know if it is gluten free or not.
