Not safe enough and not careful enough. Despite reassurances of safety from server staff, family member who has celiac ended up getting very sick. Management did not return phone calls.

Lots of gluten free option by the waitress asked if I was really celiac so she will warn the kitchen to be careful. Contrarily to some other reviews here, they don't have a dedicated fryer for non gluten items.

Please don’t eat here if you have Celiac Disease. It’s really not worth it. I called beforehand, asked all the necessary questions, and I felt confident in their answers that I was going to have a safe meal. They said they prepared my meal on a new pan, and they confirmed all of the ingredients were gluten free, and when my meal was put on the table they re-confirmed all of this, so I had no concerns, but I ended up getting very sick. I used to eat here many times pre-diagnosis, and the food was always so delicious and the portions/prices were great, but the quality has gone downhill, so it’s just really not worth the high risk despite that I think they tried their best. There are more tasty and safer options elsewhere!

First visit to 2 doors down. Most items had a gluten free option. I ordered a burger and the server immediately asked if celiac was a concern. He then filled me in that the fries were not safe but I could have the soup or salad with it. The food was delicious with fast attentive service. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here several times and they are so accommodating and understanding of celiac needs. They have gf items but some things they say are not celiac approved (eg if they’re deep fried) which I always appreciate! I’ve even had them make special sauce for a dish. They have desert too! Highly recommend, lots of options!

had an amazing leg of lamb with curry here, absolutely no problems. to make sure there weren’t any mistakes i only ordered a gluten free dish, not a gluten-free option dish.

Staff is super friendly, good food and drinks. Unfortunately, the frier is no longer safe for cross contamination - and poutine is also no longer in the menu. :-(

I highly recommend though if you don’t mind limited options, or if you’re just eating GF for non-medical reasons.

I went to this restaurant because I saw it on this ap and when I got there the menu had a TON of items listed as GF. I proceeded to ask the waitor for the poutine GF since it said GF next to it and he asked if I had celiac and I said yes. He said it was not possible to do any of the items celiac friendly only gluten free. I told him that didn't make sense.... and he said none of the items actually had gluten in them but were fried in the same frier as items with gluten. I asked him about the risotto with scallops he said the scallops had panco on them and I asked if I could get them without he said they were pre battered. I asked him if that were true why did next to the scallop risotto it say GF? He had no answer for me. This restaurant is not gluten free or celiac friendly. It is unsafe.

Delicious food! Locally sourced and freshly ground on site beef patties in the burgers, I had the Thai burger and it was perfectly done. The staff is wicked knowable about gluten free, and warned me about the frier having trace amounts of gluten so it wouldn't be safe since I have Celiac disease. The wait staff that served us made sure that I got food that was safe for me to eat. I will be coming back again for sure!

Very nice spot. Tons of awareness of celiac issues. Ate there with two young kids and they have their own celiac safe fryer for GF free chicken strips or fish sticks. Gourmet lunch fare for the parents too!
