They are very clear that their products that are "home made" fudge, truffles, caramel apples, ect... (Basically anything behind the glass.) Can be contaminated with some kind of allergen whether that be peanuts, milk or wheat or anything else you can think off...
The person behind the counter explained to me if I was looking for something that was gluten free that It would be safer if I bought one of the previous packaged candies but even then some companies cant promise no cross contamination... she then said some of the caramel apples might be ok but that was a big on the might...
So basically eat here at your own risk if you are worried about cross contamination because they 1. Have clearly posted signs that will let you know and 2. If the workers are responsible (like the one that helped us) she will be 1000 x honest with you about the risk.
