Labels easily found on website and in store. A staple place for quick gf dinner on the to go.
What a great place to get a good meal and feel comfortable that your food is gluten free. The owner was very attentive and knowledgeable about precautions for gluten. The food was very tasty. There were multiple places posted about which foods were gluten free. We’ll definitely go back regularly.
This is a cafeteria style restaurant. The menu is very clearly marked with gluten free and vegan options, and there are a lot of options. The second the words gluten free left my mouth the gentleman assembling my order changed his gloves without me even having to ask. Ordering was easy and the food was delicious. I'll definitely come back!
Have eaten here and the Auburn Hills location several times, no reaction (celiac). Wheat does exist in some things, and cross contamination should occur, but the gluten items are clearly marked and so far, so good after about three or four visits. Good variety of Middle Eastern food…sort of like a Chipotle for things like hummus, falafel, etc. Very tasty. Prices are a little steep for a quick serve restaurant. Careful on the upsells—an $8 salad can quickly become a $13 salad.
The food was delicious and not too heavy. The staff was knowledgable about what items were celiac-friendly and changed gloves for my meal from the prior meal. The prices are good and the mini-bowl was plenty of food. My husband had the bread (not gluten free) and it looked amazing!!!!
Several allergies besides gluten and once we told them if they were very accommodating and good excellent
delish, had a chicken bowl that was awesome. looking forward to trying other proteins! We made some adjustments to the falafel and it contains the following: chickpeas, green, red and yellow lentils with spices and herbs, the falafel is completely gluten-free, however does get contaminated when cooked in the fryer. We do offer a baked falafel for serious celiac customers which takes about 6 minutes. All our meats, sauces and pickled vegetables are gluten free, including our dips. I'm attaching you a new menu which is currently offered at our Auburn Hills location, and will be rolled out company wide in the next couple weeks.
Food tasted great but I was glutened. I saw the little gluten free symbol next to the falafel (no description on the board) and ordered it. Soon after we left I started to feel sick. I looked at the website and found that the falafel contains barley! I'm incredibly upset that they would mark this item as gluten free!
New place for fresh Mediterranean style slow food served fast. Plates are a choice of protein with sides. The soup was delicious. Appetizers start at $5 and dinners are $11-16. Had a soup with my plate and took leftovers home. Tried the beef, lamb sausage and chicken. All very good. They also have pork. Menu items are marked GF or vegetarian. They do serve pita and flat bread here. The GF dinner starch is tumeric rice. GREAT restaurant. Wish they had one of these near my house cause I'd go frequently!
