Very helpful in navigating the huge number of option. Had a lovely ding dong! Wow! Brought home an amazing seed bread. Even better - the have a HAPPY HOUR!
Very safe for two celiac kids. Yummy treats and lots of options
This place used to impress me with all of the options but I went back today and was extremely disappointed in the lack of lunch items and baked goods. The menus and days/hours of business seem to change frequently and the interior has become grimy and not as welcoming. I miss the carving stations, tiramisu, and old atmosphere...
It’s great to have a 100% gf place in town. I’ve never had any issues with their food and have been coming here for three years on a regular basis. Their food is good, and their baked goods are even better. My only wish is they had more vegetarian/vegan options and their hours were more friendly.
Has the possibility to be great but today it wasnt. Kudos for being gf but they were out of things to make pizza and waited along time for our order. Not all is vegan here so make sure what you are ordering if you are allergic to eggs. Ordered vegan bread panning with turkey and veggie panni. Eh. Super disappointed. 26.00 meal for two people was not worth it.
Mixed reviews. The pizzas were terrible and cold. The pancakes and salmon panini were reportedly good. The Mexican Coke isn’t gluten free and shouldn’t be served there.
OMG nothing is off limits! No worries about crumbs on the table or cross contamination. The food is amazing, everything from baked goods to anything you'd find in a deli. I highly recommend.
This place is rip-off. Food is not that great, and gluten free products are not that expensive. I'm celiac and I do get sick. Not worth it for me. No star review
This place used to make a wide variety of menu items: proteins and side dishes, which were displayed behind the sneeze guard. But they have scaled way back with fewer choices and small portions. There was barely any chicken in my pot pie or meat in my sandwich. And they used to give you two side dishes with an entree but now offer one, which is usually a salad or chips. But the prices are the same, if not higher. I hope this place survives.
The breakfast food was okay, not great. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. There are very few places that I can eat safely at with Celiac Disease so I may try here again.
Great gluten free food. Everything is great and the whole store/bakery is gluten free.
This restaurant has loads of potential. Having a dedicated gf establishment is huge. Unfortunately, it was very DIRTY when we visited, which is very unappetizing. Seeing past the filthy shelves tables and floors was not easy. If the dining areas are filthy where customers can see, what must the other areas, such as food prep and refrigerators look like?
Service was meh, food was good and fresh but the Mac & Cheese tasted like Velveeta. The tables were all dirty and the floor was absolutely filthy. They mixed up our sides so my salad ended up being half underneath my mom's panini sandwich. While I was transferring the salad to my plate, they came and asked how the food was. I said I didn't know yet. The cupcakes looked delicious but I didn't feel like spending $5 on a small cupcake. I doubt we'll be back.
My husband got my birthday cake here and it was AMAZING!! Everyone at the party loved it and no one could believe it was gf! Yum!!
This was the coolest restaurant in California!! Was just diagnosed with Celiac and travelling from Toronto. Was a great place to stop between San Diego and Los Angeles. Thanks again Noah, Luis and Amanda. Totally put the cherry on top of our amazing trip!!
Everything here is gluten free. My mother-in-law buys Thanksgiving pies here every year & they are delicious!
This place is straight awesome
Awesome. Best bakery/restaurant I have found.
This place is terrific! Knowledgeable staff, food is very fresh and delicious!
This place is amazing. Cakes, cookies, muffins, meals and so much more. My celiac family is in heaven. Wish we had one of these in Michigan where we live.
Very helpful service as I need dairy free as well. Food tasted great.
Fantastic food and ALL gf. Hot meals, salads, paninis, breakfasts, lunches, dinners. Vegetarian, gf, lactose free, corn free and delicious. I've been visiting SanDiego for years from 2-9 weeks at a time. I've been searching for a restaurant like this without success until a few weeks ago when 2Good2Be was pointed out to me. I've made the commute from my rental unit on Mission Bay several times finding every meal perfect. They also have a great bakery offering breads, muffins, cupcakes and more. A visit to the LaJolla farmers market also revealed several other totally gf food vendors which is hopeful for those of us forced to change our eating choices and altering the familiar social settings we were accustomed to visiting with friends and family. Caring diet conscious entrepreneurs are providing choices for us that would be attractive to the regular eating public as well. Finally, this year finds local supermarkets such as Sprouts and Ralphs going out of their way to label their gf foods making grocery shopping easier and enjoyable. Only Whole Foods and Trader Joes continue to be behind the curve in helping the allergen sensitive. The old adage of organic is superior doesn't quite hold for everyone. Organic wheat, spelt, etc. is devastating for the celiac and others. I question if they'll ever care enough to go out of their way in a meaningful manner to help everyone make healthy food selections. Maybe next year.
Unreal!!Unreal!!Unreal!!Unreal!! The food was delicious and the staff was extremely knowledgeable.
Phenomenal! Everything is GF. Great sandwiches and cakes!
While this place is very conscientious about ingredients, and the staff is friendly, the service is abominable. They got the order wrong, it took a painfully long time to get our food, and when we sent incorrect items back, it was like getting in the queue again at the back of the line. Not going back.
Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!!
So good! Celiac heaven!!!
Amazing!! The chicken pesto panini was awesome!! I also loved that you could get 2 sides and one of them was a GF bread pudding!!! I also loved the education screens!
Seriously the best gf cupcakes I have ever had... so worth the drive! Great selection of baked goods.
We are from the SF Bay Area and always stop here when visiting family in town. My daughter has celiac, so traveling can be challenging. Today we had the BLTA, caprese panini, and citrus salad with seared ahi. It was amazing! Dessert were s'mores cupcake and espresso mocha cupcake. Wish I had room for more!
My absolute favorite place to eat. Very safe and good food
Love this place! Celiac-safe, gluten-free food that even my gluten-eating son enjoys:)
So nice to find a dedicated GF cafe when traveling!
Healthy Creations and Curious Fork are better, but decent food and 100% gluten free.
Breath of fresh air being able to eat worry free and taste absolutely delicious!!! Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!
Food was great, yum!! favorful, healthy and gluten safe. I enjoyed a egg and bacon panini with a sweet potatoe augratin (both gluten and dairy free). my husband enjoyed the cinnamon raisin french toast, very good. will definitely be back for more! we brought home a carrot cake and red velvet cupcake for later tonight. nice selections of breads. they ship online too. yes, you need to check this one out!! :-) yes celiac friendly.
This place is delicious! Such a breath of fresh air in regard to worry-free dining. My fiancé and I are even having them make our wedding cake!!👍🏻
Such great food! Awesome to find a place where I know the food is safe to eat.
Awesome! Traveling with a 5 year old type 1 diabetic and celiac, it is such a lovely experience to find a place where she can have anything safely! called ahead and ordered for a large group, took it to the beach and it was so delicious!
Dedicated business **** this place is a dream; can't believe how good it is....breakfast was amazing! The dessert were top notch.
The food is so delicious I bad to double check that it is gluten free. I was in Carlsbad visiting friends and ate here every meal. Delicious quiche, pot pie with a flaky crust, Paninis, bread pudding, cupcakes, muffins, etc.
2GOOD2B is a great spot to find gluten, soy and corn free dishes. They have a bakery section with an impressive selection of cupcakes and other delightful goodies as well as a savory selection of foods for lunch and dinner, similar to other fast-casual places with a great selection. I've had salads, sandwiches and more; the pot-pies are a favorite for sure.
Anyone who has Celiac Disease or a gluten intolerance needs to go to 2Good2B Bakery and Cafe. I can't begin to tell you how amazing it feels to walk into a bakery and know that it's safe for you to eat anything on the menu! You can eat everything from pizza or mac&cheese, to panini sandwiches, and even breakfast items like cinnamon raisin french toast. And if you get a craving for some of their sweet treats and cafe favorites, you can find some of their products in the gluten free freezer section at Keil's Food Stores.
Voted the best gluten-free bakery in San Deigo, 2Good2B serves up every sweet indulgence you could dream up from gluten-free banana raisin bread pudding to cupcakes, pies and more. This is also an excellent choice for breakfast. Not only are there glutenfree baked goods like cinnamon rolls, muffi ns and quiche to try, but also omelets, breakfast paninis and even red velvet pancakes!
It was priceless to see my celiac daughter eating and sharing everyone's food! I wish we had one closer to home ❤️ chicken pot pie was delicious, chocolate brownie... Yum!
My boyfriend bought me pretty much one item from every dessert category so I can safely say the cupcakes, bars, cookies, muffins, and cinnamon rolls are all delicious! I visit every time I am near San Diego!
Amazing gluten-free desserts!
Great selection and so wonderful to be able to wall on in and order anything!! Wish I would have been here sooner in my vacation.
This place (San Diego location) is a great find. They have good varied breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus and they are reasonably priced for what you get. Many different baked goods are available as well. We had a bacon, egg, tomato panini for breakfast and Mac & cheese for lunch. You would now they were gluten free by taste. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area. My only complaint is that they are only open until 6pm Tuesday - Thursday.
