Review of 300 East

I’d love to give a great review but found the brunch menu on Mother’s Day limited. They had unfortunately run out of some items so there were only a couple of options left on their GF brunch menu. I ordered the Asian Tuna salad and specifically stated a gluten allergy to the waitress. She told me not to worry because the chef is also gluten free. My salad arrived looking great until after a few bites I noticed a fried wonton hidden under the dressing. Displeased and worried about getting sick, I sent it back explaining that I was worried that the salad had been made with wontons and that they realized it was for a GF order and just removed them not realizing there was one hidden. Luckily I didn’t get sick but am now hesitant about going back. I’ll give an extra star because the atmosphere was very nice.
